jiwoo wasn't one who was interested in dating so when she was asked on a date by do yoon she was shocked. she only thought of him as a class mate and nothing more. even though do yoon was interested in her, she didn't want to date him because she thought they were young and she didn't know him properly. even after she told him she wasn't interested, he insisted on them getting to know one another.

after getting to know each other, they started dating for a few months. the relationship went smoothly at first. the two helping each other study, going to the park, jiwoo teaching him how to braid hair etc. jiwoo didn't expected the relationship to last long but she did enjoy spending time with do yoon as she didn't have much friends at school.

however jiwoo caught do yoon cheating on her with someone in their grade and broke up with him immediately after. even though they didn't last long, jiwoo felt betrayed after all the convincing he did, he still decided to cheat on her. eventually she got over it, as she realised that they were both young when they started dating. though jiwoo held no resentment towards him, she started getting annoyed with him because do yoon keeps trying to text her and call her trying to win her back.

after jiwoo's failed relationship in high-school, she vowed to herself to not get into another relationship again until she met seungcheol. she couldn't help but think how attractive he looked but she still tried not to think about him as she wanted to focus on her studies and training.

s.coups also thought she was attractive but didn't want to approach her as he felt like he would invade her space. they only became friends when they were paired up for monthly evaluation.

as they got closer they both realized that they had feelings for one another but didn't want to confess those feelings in fear of screwing up the group. though in 2019 Jiwoo had enough of bottling up her feelings and confessed her feelings to him. s.coups had also revealed that he felt the same way towards her. they are currently in a happy and healthy relationship.
