𝐘/𝐧'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

"Okay ladies, first game is this Sunday, we've put in a lot of work this offseason and preseason. We made some new additions and for those of you who've been here all this time, over the past few seasons, I know we haven't had the best of luck, we haven't made it to the postseason but, I'm feeling great about this season. So let's surprise everyone and get farther than anyone would expect. Captains."

I nodded at coach as all my teammates were hyped up. It was our last practice before the season starts on Sunday and I was getting more nervous by the day.

𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

I walked out of the office building and headed to the car where my driver was waiting for me. "It's nice to see you're back in LA!" Santana greeted me as she opened the car door for me. I gave her a quick hug and a smile. I let out a sigh and deeply inhaled the cool air as I sat in the car before my driver Santana turned and smiled at me again. "Where to?"

"Umm-" I don't really feel like going home and I have a bit more time before Romain is dropping off Rose. "No idea yet, you can just drive around for now." Santana nodded as she started up the car and pulled out of the spot she was parked in.

We engaged in small talk, filling each other in on our lives since I'd been living in New York primarily and hadn't been back to LA in a bit.
My phone rang and I smiled at the name that came across.

Y/n Huxley is calling...

I quickly answered the call as I tried to internalize the joy spreading through my body. I haven't talked to her since the night in the bathroom and I don't completely know where we stand or what we're doing but, I can't hide the fact that I'm excited to hear her voice. I've been thinking about her nonstop non it's tough being around Colin after knowing what we've done... again.

"Hello?" I spoke into the phone trying not to display how I was feeling.

"Hey, Scar, is my dad with you? I've been trying to get in touch with him. I have the passes for the game on Sunday night."

Oh, so she called looking for Colin. I thought she'd be ready to talk.

"Oh, um I think he had some meetings and stuff today, plus Cosmo is probably watching something on his phone, I can let him know you're-"

"Well I wanted to drop them off so, just let me know when it's a good time to do so."

"I can come pick them up from you? I've finished my meetings for the day- if that's okay with you I mean, I-"

"Oh? Yeah that's fine I'm at my house if you want to swing by. I'll text you my address."

"Sounds good. I'll see you in a bit." I smiled to myself.

I put Y/n's address into the map in the car as Santana drove me to her house. I grew nervous the closer we got and I didn't know what to expect or what could happen.

𝐘/𝐧'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

"She's coming over now?!" Naomi gasped as I started pushing her towards the front door of my house. "Yes, now you have to go." I laughed as Naomi kept making faces and kissy noises.

"Sometimes I wonder if you're actually an adult. None of that is happening, I already feel kinda bad for cheating on Mads, until I sort that out, nothing else is happening. Plus that was a one time thing, now she's going to be here any second so you gotta go."

Naomi finally got out the door and shortly after, I saw a car approach my driveway and out came a woman who rounded the car to seemingly open the door for Scarlett. I took a deep breath and reminded myself of what I promised myself earlier. No kissing. No staring at her for too long. No sex. No sex. No sex.

I opened the door as Scarlett walked up the stairs with a smile plastered on her face. "Hey." I said as we side hugged each other. I stepped back, opening the door wider to let her inside. She looked around and took in the scene and gave an approving nod. "Did your driver want to come in or-"

"No she's going to lunch."

"Oh okay, did you want some water or something?"

"No I'm good, thank you though." Scarlett says as we stood in an awkward silence before she spoke up again.

"So this is nice, you have a nice view over here." She looked around making me smile to myself. "Do you want a tour of the house? I finally unpacked everything, it took a while since I was waiting on stuff to get here from England."

"Yeah, I'd love one."

I didn't really know what to say to her. Obviously there's a ginormous elephant in the room but, is now really the time to talk about what happened in New York?

I took Scarlett all around my house, showing her every inch of the place before we reached my bedroom. "This is the master, a.k.a my bedroom, a.k.a the place where the magic happens- except for the fact there's been no magic in here yet." I joked and I could see her blush.

"Speaking of magic, um we should talk about-"

"New York." Scarlett said finishing my sentence.

"Yeah, I just don't want things to be awkward and I wanted to apologize for what happened and how I just went radio silent after everything I just- I didn't know what to do, or say for that matter."

𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

I just absorbed her words but I wasn't sorry about what happened even though I know I should be. I cheated on my husband and the father of my son, with his daughter. "Are you sorry it happened or sorry because of the people our actions will hurt?"

"I- Scarlett, I can't do that to my dad, no matter what I feel, you two are married."

"And how do you feel?" I pressed on.

"I- that doesn't matter."

"It does, it matters to me. Why can't you be happy too?"

"That's not the point-"

"Y/n I'm not sorry. That night, it was the best I'd felt in a while and it took that night for me to realize I could be happier, in a better relationship. One with someone more suited for me. I haven't stopped thinking about you and wanting you around me since that night. And I know we're going to break hearts and hurt someones feelings but come on, if you're unhappy and you enjoyed that night like I did then say that, there's no one else here, it's just you and I."

"You're just okay with all that? I know you always speak your mind but Scar, come on, that's my dad."

"Well if we're being honest, you had me first. You were leaving and I couldn't do that."

Y/n hesitated as she looked up at me. She was sitting on the edge of her bed and her eyes stayed fixated on mine. "I'm breaking up with Madison, soon. And I know it's not so easy to just walk out of a marriage but Scarlett, I can't hurt my dad."

"So we don't tell him- we don't tell anyone. We'll figure this out." I said barely above a whisper as her eyes drifted to my lips. I went to straddle her waist as she whispered "Okay."

"But I do need to tell him about the first time- I just feel like he deserves to know that at the very least."

"Uh- okay, I just- maybe I should tell him that?"

"I don't think that's a conversation he'd want to have with his daughter, I can do it."

"Okay, but if this ever gets too hard for us to keep up, it's okay to walk away."

I smiled as Y/n wrapped her arms around my body as we both stood up. She leaned down connecting our lips before leading me back over to her bed. I laid back as she crawled on top of me. Her lips kissing every bit of exposed skin before she connected our lips again. Her body grinded against mine before my phone ringing made her pull away.

"Hey Santana?"

"Hi, did you want me to pick you up? Your schedule says Romain is meeting you at your house in 30 minutes to drop off Rose,"

Shit. I muttered to myself.

"Um, how far out are you?"

"I can take you home, Scar." Y/n whispers. "You sure? I-"
"Yeah, I'll get my keys." Y/n says before getting up. "Santana it's fine, you can go home for the day but thank you."

I hang up and smile at Y/n who was grabbing. her wallet and keys off her dresser. "You don't have to take me home-"

"No no it's fine plus, I wanna see Cosmo."

I nodded as she pulls me into her. "Just in case I don't get to do this again." She captured my lips as her hands slid to my waist. I moaned in the kiss as we headed to my house.

Y/n and I headed to my house I own here in LA and made it just in time. Not even 5 minutes after we got there, Romain was knocking at the door with Rose in tow.

"Mommy!" Rose exclaimed as she ran into my arms. "Hi baby, I've missed you so much." I spoke as I squeezed my daughter tightly in my arms. I kissed her head as I pulled away and stood up to see Romain standing there with his arms crossed over his chest.

"Rose, baby, go inside, Colin and Cosmo are in there. And Y/n remember Colin's daughter I told you about?" I say as she grabs her backpack and runs inside excitedly.

I looked back and watched as she closed the front door behind her. "Spit it out." I said knowing Romain was possibly about to start an argument.

"I don't think you should have primary custody of Rose anymore."

"Are you really going back to this? It was already settled in court- I get you're upset over the ruling but I'm more than capable of taking care of Rose. We have joint custody, what more do you want? She lives here, it's worked perfectly fine this whole time-"

"Scarlett, I just had her for a long period of time, when you start filming another movie, where's she going? Oh right, with me. It's like you're not even her mother at times and that's not fair to her-"

"Excuse me?!" I whisper yelled not wanting to draw Colin or Rose's attention. "How dare you say it's like I'm not her mother?! Do I have a busy schedule? Yes, but I do things and work things out so I can have time with both of my children, I'm a mom first, my job does not come before them. It never has and never will and for you to stand here and insinuate that I'm barely here for her is foolish, Romain."

"Right because you're perfect perfect Scarlett. Everyone loves you. If only your little worshippers knew what a nightmare you are." Romain says sarcastically. "You're damn lucky I couldn't take her back to France with me because if it was really up to me you wouldn't be seeing her at all." he continued.

"So first you're upset I filed for divorce, then you were upset because I wanted to keep Rose here and in New York where she was born and where we had been raising her, then you were mad because our custody battle wasn't fought in France where clearly, they would have given you exactly what you wanted-"

"You don't deserve to raise her Scarlett! She spends most of her time with me anyway, things should be the other way around-"

"You need to leave, we're not doing this right now-"
"Right, do what you always do, walk away and let your lawyers handle your mess-"

"You need to leave-"

"I'm not done talking Scarlett!" Romain yelled as he stepped closer to me. I turned to walk away, grabbing Rose's other bag as Romain grabs ahold of my wrist and I immediately yank my hand away from his hold.

"She said leave, you dropped Rose off, at this point you're trespassing and overstaying your welcome. If you really want to go down that road again then I suggest you do it in court and not outside the house your daughter is currently in while insulting her mother. Looking like the bitter crazy ex bickering back and forth and getting the police involved won't help you at all, so like she said, and something I won't repeat again, leave." I hear from behind me as Y/n came outside.

She grabbed my hand, moving me behind her as she stood in front of Romain, face to face. I heard Colin's voice as he then came outside. "Romain, we don't have to do this right now, please. Just go." he spoke as I remained closely behind Y/n. Her hand was still slightly in mine.

Romain sucked his teeth before pointing his finger at me. "You- just watch." he says as he starts heading towards his car. Colin came over to me and Y/n and I let go quickly before he could see. "You okay?" he whispered as he pulled me into his arms and placed a kiss on my forehead. I could see Y/n's eyes shift towards the ground as I hugged Colin. I pulled away and he patted Y/n's back thanking her for coming out here to get Romain to back off.

"Dinner's almost ready, Y/n/n if you want to stay-" Colin offered.

"Uhh I can't I have plans with Mads, I should probably get going."

Colin nodded and looked at me to follow him inside. "I'll be in in a sec. I need to grab something from her car." I lied as Colin smiled and hugged Y/n kissing the top of her head before telling her he loves her.

I waited until he closed the front door before wrapping my arms around Y/n. I looked up at her and whispered "thank you" as her hand smoothed up and down my back. "He seems like a jerk." She chuckled.

"Try being married to him for 3 years." I laughed. "Guys like him are why I'm gay and then of course, women like you are why I love being gay." She whispered. "You know you're welcome to stay."

"Yeah, I have plans though, but maybe after my game or something we can all get some dinner?"

I nodded as she looked around and connected our lips. "Mmm." I moaned out as she left another peck on my lips. "Drive safe please and text me when you get home." I pointed at Y/n as she rounded her car. "Always."

I went back inside and immediately went over to Cosmo and Rose hugging both of my kids. I then looked over in the dining room where Colin was setting up plates at the table for everyone. I need to tell him tonight... about Y/n and I. I don't want to hold onto this any longer.

I went and wrapped my arms around his body making him smile. "We need to talk later." I whispered before leaving a kiss on his cheek and heading back over to Rose and Cosmo.
