"God it feels good to be back." I said as I walked out of my bathroom and into my bedroom where Naomi was currently laying in my bed. "Ooh good you no longer have the plane filth on you."

"Shush, so what did I miss while I was gone?" I questioned as I laid beside her. "Um, I had some events to shoot! Oh my gosh! I met Jake Gyllenhall and he's so hot!" I couldn't help but to laugh because my gay energy wouldn't allow me to understand what she just said.

"I know I know, he's not attractive to you but I had to contain myself and somehow managed to get his number." Naomi said dusting her shoulders off.

"No way... I don't believe you. Finally." I said eagerly knowing this would mean she wouldn't have to third wheel me anymore if this goes somewhere. "Why are you so excited to dump me off?" She playfully rolls her eyes. "Look, I love you and all but, Naomi you've been single for far too long, you probably have cobwebs down there." I joked earning a slap on my arm.

Naomi and I decided to stay in today since I was exhausted from my road trip. Scarlett claimed to be busy today so, I decided I wouldn't go over her place unless she asked me to. I flipped through Netflix finally settling on a movie for Naomi to watch when we were interrupted midway through by her notifications going off followed by mine. I grabbed the remote, pausing the movie to see what was going on.

I headed to my twitter and tapped on the article attached to the tweets I was sent.

As we know, Madison Beer and ex girlfriend Y/n Huxley released separate posts on their social media platforms announcing the end of their 2 year relationship a late last year.

The couple first made headlines when sharing an intimate moment at a mutual friends party where many saw the two kissing in the background of pictures and videos, confirming the early dating rumors. Naomi looked over at me, her eyes widened and I could tell she was concerned but also stifling a laugh. "Just let it out." I mumbled before she started cracking up. "Bitch! She Taylor Swifted you!" Naomi began having a fit of uncontrollable laughter which started to annoy me. "Oh my gosh, wait- does she know?!" Naomi asked as her tone switched up.

"There's no way she could know unless someone told her and no one that knows associates with her."

"Well you know it damn sure wasn't me, I can't even stand in a room with her." Naomi spoke truthfully. "But you're public enemy number one right now-"

"Perfect timing." I mumbled. I continued scrolling through my twitter, seeing different tweets about how stupid I am to cheat on someone like Madison, some people telling me to kill myself. They act as if they know us or know what went down.

Did I cheat on her? Yes, I did. Did she know? No, but I'm also not too sure about that at this point. Madison and I were crumbling and holding on by a string within our final half of our relationship. It was only a matter of time.

𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

Florence and Chris were currently over my place for dinner. I'd just put Rose to bed and was finally able to sit down. "So where's Y/n? She's back in town and you two aren't together? That's rare to see." Chris joked. "I think we just need some space." I lied knowing exactly why I haven't had her over.

"Well can we call her over? I feel like we haven't all hung out in a while." Flo said as she took a sip of her wine. "No I'm sure she's busy-"

"Scar, what's going on, did you two fizzle out or something?" Chris laughed. "I- no, I just-" I let out a shaky breath and decided I'd let them know what's really going on. "I have a real reason for not having her over but, if I tell you two, please, and I really mean this, do not tell anyone, and by anyone, specifically Y/n or Colin."

Chris and Florence were intrigued but also wore worried expressions on their faces. "I'm pregnant and it's Y/n's."

Their jaws dropped, neither of them uttering a word or moving a muscle. "I don't know if I should say congratulations seeing as you haven't told Y/n." Florence said awkwardly. "Well, I'm going to get an abortion which is why I'm not telling her. I don't want to break her heart."

"Shouldn't she know she at least created a kid- I mean it's your body and your choice but, wouldn't you want to know?" Chris asked and I sighed seeing as this was Hunter's exact reaction.

"Look, I feel terrible because a part of me wants to tell her but I feel like if I tell her, I'll end up keeping the baby and I can't handle that right now. Romain basically has the judge on his side so I'd be losing Rose, Colin and I are a bit rocky right now, and I'm in a side relationship entanglement thing with my husband's daughter. My life is a mess. That would be selfish of me to bring a child into all of this. Not to mention what that would do to the family."

My friends nodded their heads not sure what to say to me next before Chris spoke. "We support you and we're here." He reached his hand out to me across the table, holding it in his as Flo grabbed my other hand sending me a smile. Our little moment was cut short when someone knocked on my door.

"Excuse me." I say as I get up from the table and head to the door. I opened it and to my surprise, Y/n was on the other side of the door. "Hey, sorry to just pop by unannounced, I was worried about you and was unsure if I did something to-"

"No we're good."

There was an awkward silence that set in for a few seconds.

"Are you going to let me in?" she asked as she still stood outside on the porch. "Right." I stepped aside and let her in and she gave me a weird look trying to read me. "Well that's not the only reason I came." Y/n followed me through the hallway and back to the den where I was with Florence and Chris.

"Oh hey guys!" she said hugging my best friends. "We were just talking about how much we missed you." Chris nudged Y/n as she sat beside him. "Did you want to talk in private?" I asked trying to figure out what else she came for. "No it's fine- oh Chris, dude, you were right. That Black Widow suit does slip on and off pretty easily."

My eyes bulged out of my head as I swatted Y/n's arm embarrassed, while she and my friends began laughing knowing exactly what she was referencing. "She wore it?!" Chris exclaimed between laughs. "Hell yeah she wore it." Y/n smirked and I felt mildly embarrassed.

"Oh what a kinky one." Florence winked at me. "Okay enough about our sex life." I say quickly trying to shift the conversation.

Chris turned the tv on and E! News was on and Y/n's face flashed on the screen. I grabbed the remote turning the tv up as it caught my attention. "We are all Madison Beer stans and   Y/n is now public enemy number one. Today, we learned Y/n cheated on Beer which ultimately led to their breakup! More on this next!" The host said as the three of us turned to look at Y/n.

I muted the tv and looked at her waiting for her to say something. "That was the other reason I came over. I was spammed with messages of an article that came out today. Apparently, Mads released a song that was basically a 'fuck you' anthem towards me and now people think I cheated on her."

"Well you did." Florence mumbled and giggled. "You told her?" I questioned. "No, I- I don't know if she found out or if it's just a guess, I mean she's accused me of cheating in the past just for making eye contact with another woman, I don't know why she's saying anything but-"

"Well now you have to handle it- Y/n-"

"Scarlett don't stress we're good. She can't possibly know, there's no way she would've found out, I swear."

I turned and looked at my friends and they immediately knew what I wanted. "Well, we'll leave you two to it, we'll see you later." Chris spoke before hugging Y/n and I as he and Florence left my home leaving Y/n and I alone. I grabbed my phone and went to look for the article Y/n was talking about. I read the lyrics to the song Madison released and my heart sunk. She has to know.

"So your ex knows you were cheating on her." I say bluntly at Y/n. "It's not a big issue, it's a thing of the past. I'm going to take a few public shots of course and be in the hot chair for a bit but, Scarlett, it's nothing to worry about."

"Y/n, yes it is! Especially if she knows it's me you've been screwing!"

"Okay, calm down. I'll get everything straightened out." Y/n says trying to reassure me.

"What are you going to do? Go talk to her because that always seemed to work for you two." I said sarcastically making Y/n clearly annoyed. "I don't understand why you're blowing up. No one's suspecting you, she hasn't said anything else. They think it's Phoebe and I, your name is nowhere in the mix. But I really was careful-"

"How careful? Y/n if she knows and-"

"Scarlett, let me handle it and please, stop worrying."

I was beginning to get annoyed at how calm she was. It's like this isn't even bothering her. Our worlds could quite literally come crashing down on us because of this and she's so unphased by it.

"Can you at least act like you care?" I groaned in frustration. "Scarlett I care it's just that I don't think she knows and I don't think either of us should get all riled up about it because if anything, that makes us look suspicious-"

"I- never mind, handle it like you said you will." I began to walk up the stairs when Y/n started following me. "Can you tell me why you're really riled up? What's going on? You've been so distant-"

"I'm fine. I'm going to bed." I lied. No, I'm not fine. My hormones are all over the place, I'm stressed out, there's a baby in my belly and I have to look at Y/n without telling her about it, my daughter's father is trying to take her away from me, and my husband and I are arguing most times we talk to each other.

"You don't seem fine- Scar you don't have to act like you're okay. I'm here."

"And I appreciate that but quite honestly, I just want to get some sleep so-"

"Do you want me to stay over?" She asked. "Not tonight." I looked into her eyes and she looked a bit sad and I felt bad about it. I'm being hard on her for no reason other than the fact that I feel like my life is falling apart.

"I love you." I said trying to make her smile. I walked back over to her sliding my arms around her torso before leaning up and placing a soft kiss on her lips.

"I love you too." she whispered before I let go. "We'll talk later." I said as I watched her walk out of my front door. I followed behind her making sure to lock up the house.

𝐘/𝐧'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

I kept thinking about my last conversation with Scarlett. Something's definitely bothering her and I really think it's the whole situation with Romain mixed with my dad's tantrum about her being out here in LA. I still need to talk to him since I haven't done that yet for her.

I pulled into my driveway to see a G-Wagon parked out front. I got out of my car cautiously and headed up to my doorstep to see someone sitting on my porch steps. As I got closer, I finally noticed who it was. You've got to be shitting me.

"Madison? What are you doing here?" I asked slightly annoyed by her presence. She sent me a smile as she stood up as I approached the door. "Well, I was hoping we could talk." I sighed and unlocked my door letting her in. I walked into the kitchen grabbing some water before looking over at her. "Would you like one?" I asked holding up a water bottle to which she nodded her head.

"So I suppose you heard my new song." She smiled. I listened to it earlier and as much as I'd hate to admit it, it's really good. "I have."

"Aww good, so, I'm sure you're wondering why I'm here."

"The golden question."

"I'm not trying to create any drama, I simply was pouring my feelings out. I know what you did." She said sharply catching me off guard. "Sorry, I'm not following."

"Y/n don't act dumb, cheating on me. I had a theory of it a little while after you came back from England, I of course tried to shove it to the side. It took me a while to put everything together but, gosh, I was so stupid to think you were still in love with me. My friends all tried to show me the truth but I was so blinded and turned my head away from it, only to put the pieces together so late. Even to this day, I'm surprised."

"Madison-"

"I just need you to answer this question... was it or will it be worth it?"

I couldn't believe her. "Madison, you have no idea what you're talking about. I loved you, that's no secret, you meant everything to me. I didn't mean to hurt you, I understand that you were blindsided but it was just too much for me and I couldn't do it anymore."

Madison chuckled dryly. "And you continue to act as if you didn't do anything? Wow, you're more fucked up than I realized. I have a flight to catch." Madison says before leaving my house swiftly. What the fuck just happened?

I looked over to see my phone buzzing on the camera. Great, it's my dad.

"Hello?"

"Hey, I know this may be a bit weird to ask but, have you been around Scarlett lately?"

"Uhh, yeah a bit? What's up?"

"Well she's been busy with everything here so I've gone over to help with Rose when I can."

"Oh, has she hung out with anyone?"

"What's this about?" I questioned.

"I just- it's nothing."

I rolled my eyes wanting so badly to go off on him and give him crap for giving my girl such a hard time.

"Look, I don't know what's going on with you two but dad, she's not doing anything sketchy or whatever you may think. She's literally been here working her ass off and trying to do any and everything she can to make sure she keeps her custody of Rose meanwhile you've been giving her shit. Let up on her, she's been stressed out."

That was the nicest way I could put that without making it too obvious there's more going on here. I meant what I said, he's been affecting her mood.

"Oh- she told you about-"

"Yeah, just cut her some slack." I say before my dad shifts the conversation. He began asking me questions about my life and what's going on with me. It was nice to fill my dad in and have these heart to heart conversations for the first time in a while.

I was ready to sleep and headed to bed after my phone call with my dad. It's been a long day and I knew things were either going to get better or worse for everyone involved.

Madison just opened a new can of worms but, I do think she's bluffing. She wants me to feel the pain she felt and I can't act like breaking up with her was easy for me. I really loved her at one point so it hurt but I had to let her go. It wasn't just for me but for her as well. I couldn't drag her along when I fell out of love with her. Now, I'm paying the price for it.
