Mizuki's thoughts were scattered as they walked around the empty room of what used to be their bedroom, listening to the echoes of their own footsteps.

'How am I going to tell Y/n about this..
they would care, right..?' Mizuki thought to themself.

The silence was broken when they heard their phone ringing. They reached their hand into their pocket and took a quick glance to see who was calling them.

'Oh, it's y/n! I should call back!' They thought to themself as they were about to press the call button, but they stopped themself, 'I still have to tell them about..that..'

Mizuki sighed as they turned off their phone and walked out the room.

Mizuki stood and watched as they moved their beautiful set of clothes that were in a box into the back of the truck.

"That seems like all of it!" The man spoke smiling.

Mizuki felt their eyes water as they looked at their house for the last time, remembering all the memories that they made in this place. Even though it was necessary to leave, they didn't want to. This was their home., but there was nothing they could do to stop these events from taking place.

The next day

You've been trying to call Mizuki since yesterday but it seems as if they just weren't picking up their phone.

'Maybe they're just busy..yeah..!' You thought to yourself as you tried to keep your composure, after all, no one would expect you to just randomly burst into panic.

"Here you are! I've been looking for you!" Your friend exclaimed. You quickly shut off your phone and turned towards them, smiling slightly. They stared at you for a moment before asking, "You look worried, what's going on??"

"Hm? Worried?? No, not at all! Just..thinking about Mi- the missing books in the library! Yeah! Haha I hope they'll find them..!" You smiled.

"Uhmm..yeeaahh! I guess, but that's kinda random.." they responded.

You just laughed and shrugged it off.

"Oh yea! I was looking for you because I wanted to invite you to see a movie tomorrow with some of my other friends since we don't normally get to hang out on Saturdays! It's alright if you can't make it though, cause I mean, I did ask you kinda suddenly..ha.." they said.

"Oh uh, I'll..I'll be busy. Sorry.." you scratched your head.

"That's fine! Well, I'll text you later!! Byee!!" They cheered while running off as you waved them good bye.

'I nearly gave myself away there..who knew just  a small interaction like that could get me so nervous..' you sighed to yourself.

Few Days Later
It's been a while since you last heard from Mizuki and you're honestly beginning to worry a lot more than ever before. You've tried contacting people close to them like Rui but he says he hasn't seen them since last week.

You decided to go to their house, you knocked a few times but no answer.

The windows were closed so it didn't seem like anyone was home.

'God damn it Mizuki where are you..' you frowned while walking away from their house doorstep until you heard your phone buzz.

Mizuki: Hey Y/n..I'm sorry for not answering your calls or texts but can you meet me at the airport please.? I swear I'll explain everything once you get here.

'Thank god they're okay..but why at the airport..' you thought to yourself as you basically sprinted towards the nearby airport.

At the Airport
"Y/n! Over here!!" Mizuki waved, but their smile seemed a little less bright as usual and you could swear you could see tears in their eyes.

"Hey Mizu! Why'd you wanna meet here??" You asked while walking towards them.

"Well..uhm..I did say I'd explain everything but we don't have much time." They said as a tear rolled down their face.

"Eh? What are you talking about.." you questioned.

"To put it in a summary, my parents found a good business opportunity overseas and I have to go with them but they won't allow me to message you or anyone anymore s-so.." they broke into tears mid sentence leaning on your shoulder.

"H-Hey..Mizu, it's okay.." you tried to comfort them.

"But it isn't y/n! We were supposed to do so much together.." they sniffled as you felt your eyes begin to water aswell.

"Shh..dont worry, you never know what Van happen in the future! hopefully something good.." you mumbled the last part while hugging Mizuki.

"Y/n i have something for you to remember me by.." Mizuki let go of you and reached into their side pocket and pulled out a little box with a ribbon on it.

"Please keep it I have one as well so we can match..!" They said.

But before you could answer, "MIZUKI! WHERE ARE YOU??"

"Oh..I'm sorry Y/n. I have to go, I love you.." Mizuki said while smiling at you one last time before running off. You waved as you felt the tears falling from your eyes.

"I love you too Mizuki.." you mumbled as you stood there in the middle of the airport with your hands holding the box close to your chest.
