Three hundred high school forwards were gathered as part of this project.

Currently, we were on the bus, heading to the Blue Lock building hidden through mountains.

I've received 1000 AP from the system after completing the first quest.

I didn't think about buying stats with these AP, considering Nishioka's stats are already pretty good and I can increase them with training.

[Revision] is the most realistic choice I could make for now.

I don't know what Nishioka had to go through in the first selection, moving him to the same team as Isagi would make my knowledge from my past life more useful.

The character I'd swap place with.. should be Yudai Imamura.

That poor guy was the main victim of usual self insert or fanfiction I've read in my past life.

I'd swap Hajime Nishioka and Yudai Imamura team.

As Isagi's going to hand over his clothes, Kunigami told him to watch his steps.

He then looked down to see a guy sleeping.

Seems like everything is going like it originally meant to be.

It was Ego's sound, he also appeared on the screen in front of us.

Now that I think about it, Blue Lock progression was kinda slow. The latest chapter I've read in my past life was the NEL Arc, spoilers from the system will come quite handy in the future.

The ball barely went past Isagi.

The four of us spread out after Igaguri went to get the ball.

He then went to the others after most of us spread out.

Kira:
"This is ridiculous.. I can't see how this game is 'top training'... I'm only participating to prove him wrong.. Having our soccer lives decided by kicking a ball around and playing tag is definitely wrong! ..There's no way I'll let him destroy my future..!"

Igaguri:
"I can't hit anyone! ... Haha! you're still asleep! lucky me!"

Igaguri had just touched the ball, and was about to kick it at the sleeping person. but then..

Igaguri:
"Gah!! Hey! that's foul!"

Bachira:

"Hm? we just can't use our hands, right?"

...

Right after he said that, the orange haired guy approached him and said..

Kunigami:
"Hey, I hate dirty methods. Let's fight fair and squa-"

Igaguri:
"You're wide open!"

Igaguri immediately took the opportunity by kicking the ball towards Kunigami.

Kunigami:

He then takes a step forward and kicks the ball super hard to the point it doesn't spin at all.

But it's still dodgeable from this distance.

Igaguri:
"Hey!"

So Igaguri held me in place and used me as a shield.

Players surrounding me start to spread as well.

It shouldn't be like this, I had to awaken Isagi's ego just like in the manga.

I scanned the room for a second and then realized, that the room was the same size as the penalty box, it was larger than what I think.

Isagi was 5 meters beside Kunigami.

I bent my left knee diagonally, lean to my right side, and aimed my sight at Kunigami.

But, instead of shooting it right away, I used the outside sole of my right foot and curved the ball.

Nobody expected it.

The ball hit Isagi's shoulder instead.

Now, everything is going according to the original lore.

Isagi:
"Damn.. these guys are from all over the country so their athletic abilities are really high.. I can't even hit them with a good kick!"

He sets his eyes right at Igaguri.

Noticing Isagi's gaze, Igaguri immediately ran away as fast as possible.

"Only 50 seconds?! Is this game of tag really going to decide my future? what's even being tested?! Does this have anything to do with ego?!"

Bachira:

"Hey! here's your chance!"

Bachira locks Kunigami in place.

Kunigami:
"I told you.. to play fair and square!"

He then threw Bachira away, perfectly landing on top of Igaguri, injuring his ankle in the process.

Igaguri:
"Ah.. crap.. h-hey time out..!"

Kira:
"Go, Isagi! Now's your chance!"

Igaguri:
"I- I'm sorry I aimed for you before! I don't want it to end like this!"

...

Isagi:
"I can win.. I can survive if I just hit him right now.. but. that means Igarashi's soccer life will end.. No! I have to! If I don't do anything I'll lose! why am I hesitating?! this is just kind of place Blue Lock is!"

He came here to change his life, he's here to become the world's best.

That means he has to beat someone stronger than him.

Isagi:
"I came here to change my life.. to become the world's best..!"

Bachira laughs, then steals the ball from him.
"I like you! You get it, if you're gonna crush someone.. Aim for the strongest guy!"

The ball which had hit the wall ricochet towards Bachira, who perfectly crossed it towards Isagi.
