Clarissa Gilbert was getting ready for school, looking around the room.
She tried to keep her breath steady, blinking tears away
It had been a year since her parents Grayson and Miranda Gilbert died in a car crash.
She was ready to leave when a bright light flashed out, and when she looked around, she realized she was in a completely different room.
"Clarie!" the all-familiar voice of her younger brother rang out, causing her to turn, wrapping her arms around him when he crashed into her.
"Are you okay?" Jeremy asked, pulling away from her, earning a nod in return.
"Clarie! Jeremy!" their aunt Jenna sighed in relief when she saw the siblings, hugging them tightly, glad they were safe.
"Where's Elena?" Clarissa asked, her brows furrowing slightly but it wasn't long before the twin appeared in a flash of light as well.
"Clary!" Caroline yelled, appearing in the flash of light, seeing her best friend.
"Oh thank god," the brunette took her hands, squeezing them tightly.
Clarissa turned around, seeing Stefan with Damon and eight people she had never seen before, but one of them looked identically to the twins, realizing it was Katherine.
Her lips parted, ready to ask before she stifled, feeling someone hug her.
A child someone.
"Mom," a girl with dark brown hair breathed out, her grip on her tight.
"Grace! She doesn't know us yet. You can't just hug people," another girl, this time with black hair exclaimed, pulling her twin away from her.
"I'm sorry, who are you? Because last I checked, I didn't give birth to anyone," Clarissa asked, looking between the two with a confused expression.
"Right, sorry. My name is Faith Mikaelson, this is my twin Grace and we are your children from the future," Faith spoke, causing the Mikaelsons to look between each other.
"I'm sorry, what?" Clarissa replied, her brows raising.
"That's not possible, vampires cannot procreate and none of us would with a doppelganger," Klaus said, causing the brunette to look at him.
"What did I do to you?" she asked, clearly offended by his words.
"Nothing. They don't have good experience with doppelgangers," Grace told her quietly, crossing her arms.
"Okay, logically speaking, if you brought all of us here, that means they are the people I care about now or in the future and someone out of the four is your father," the brunette said, looking between Finn, Elijah, Klaus and Kol.
Faith smiled, nodding at her mother's intelligence. "In a nutshell,"
"It's Elijah, right?" Rebekah said knowingly, earning a nod from the Mikaelson twins.
Elijah wasn't surprised that it was him, of all his brothers who'd fall in love and somehow conceived children with a doppelganger.
But he couldn't say he minded.
She was beautiful.
"Anyway, we brought you here to watch the life of our mom so we can avoid the way things happened," Grace told them before the screen started playing.
