Sentinel gathered all of his troopers in the headquarters, making it harder for Y/n to find a way to exit the tower unnoticed. She rolled her optics in frustration, but she was going to leave somehow.

As Sentinel announced something to his team, Y/n leaned against the doorframe in her office, observing the details of the disc's hologram. As she examined it, she noticed strikes of gold spinning around it. A small red dot hovered over the coordinate. She never saw another hologram like this, apart from the holograms Sentinel generated.

Then, Y/n realized the original disc wasn't just any disc. It was made by a Prime, but by which? Surely, it wasn't Sentinel. She turned the disc around, at the bottom was old Cybertronian carved onto it. Unable to decipher most of the glyphs (except for the obvious name 'Primus'), she spun the disc back up. She'd never noticed the meticulous properties of the disc, for she just happened to find it dusted up on a shelf in the Tower's Archives. She solely gave attention to the unique coordinate that showed up once she activated it, until now--while waiting for the search team to go elsewhere.

After a while, the headquarters was empty, except for the occasional guard walking around. Y/n hoped Sentinel hadn't left for the journey yet. She walked out into the hallway and saw Airachnid going into another hallway. Relieved, she opened up the hologram again.

Her optics widened as she saw a flashing red symbol near the coordinate. Her digit hovered over the symbol, opening a live transmit of the coordinate.

A cave in the distance, among the jungle. Where the memory of the assassinated Primes lingers.

This was a sign of an active spark.

The spark of a Prime?

But how?

She gaped at the flashing symbol in the cave before her.

She heard Sentinel's voice in the distance and quickly turned off the beacon. The shock had her forget her first plan for the surface.

Lost in her thoughts, Y/n didn't notice Sentinel approaching her. He wrapped his arm around her waist, catching her off guard.

"My love, since I happen to be leaving in a few moments, could you do me a favor?"

Scrap.

"Uhhmm..." she trailed off. If she hurries, perhaps she could do it once she gets back. She needed to see what the spark signal was all about.

It won't take too long, would it?

"Sure!"

"Great." He handed her a datapad, "Could you look over the entered coordinates? Oh! And they're scattered all over the place--and it's not sitting well with me--the guy who did it is still learning...could you organize them, too?"

"Does he...want me to do it?"

"I mean, you're the only one I know who knows how to do it," he smirked, "how to do it well."

Y/n smiled at his words.

"Of course," she said, and she walked back to her office.

She tossed the datapad on her desk.

Silence again.

Y/n wasn't willing to show the beacon to Sentinel, that would have all she'd planned to go to waste. Now, she didn't want to wait any longer.

Closing her office door behind her, she sped-walked towards the balcony in the headquarters, preparing to transform, unaware that two guards caught on to her.

"My lady! What are you doing?" One of them shouted.

Y/n cringed at this and spun on her heel to come face-to-face with them.

"It's urgent," she said quietly.

"Where's your escort?"

"You're going out the balcony?"

"Who's your escort?"

The guards went back and forth with their questions. Y/n shook her head in annoyance. Ignoring them, she turned back toward the view before her and transformed into her flying alt-mode, leaving the guards dumbfounded.

--

Sentinel knocked on the office door. Nothing. He knocked a second time. No response. No rustling from the other side. A third time, louder than his previous attempt.

Stillness.

"Y/n?"

Grown worried he swung the door open. No sign of her presence, for her quiet whirring, was not heard.

Sentinel ignored the arrival of the guards who witnessed her depart at the door, silently bickering about who would tell him.

Didn't he see her walk in here? Yes, he did, it was no illusion. Confused, Sentinel looked around until his optics set upon the desk.

He approached it. He saw the datapad he'd given her, tossed upon a keyboard pad.

Then, the disc, the craftsmanship of a Prime, that had been stored within the Tower's archives to become a mere memory for him found out about by his beloved, was carelessly tossed to the side of the desk, inches away from falling.

Sentinel grabbed the disc and examined it. Turning it around, the carving read 'Alpha Trion, of the First of Primus.'

Sentinel went silent. He clenched his servos.

"Where is she?"

The guards jumped at his reaction. They looked at each other.

"She went out, sir. She said it was urgent." One of them said in a low voice.

Sentinel, still silent, continued to scan the desk. Nothing else was found.

In his mind, he crushed the disc.

Though, he too thought, why would she want it?

Vexation swelled up within him.

Why?

"Please, I want to come along--let me come along."

"At what time are you leaving?"

...

Before he could come to a conclusion, Airachnid frantically ushered the guards away from the door.

"Sir, we need to get going. Now."
