God!Taehyung x Jimin
I wiped the blood off my lips and my nose.
God, why did everyone have to be so cruel?
The boys in my village always sought pleasure in torturing me, watching me bleed.
This time, I had almost been beaten to death.
Now, I was all alone in the forest, probably miles away from home.
Feeling hopeless, I let out a wail and buried my face in my hands.
Just then, a soothing voice caused me to look up.
"Why do you weep, my child?"
It was a tall man with pale green skin and brown hair. Vines and leaves were wrapped all around his body.
"Who are you?" I sniffled.
"I am Taehyung, the God of the forest. I sensed your presence and wanted to be of help to you. Now, tell me, my child, what is it that bothers you so much?" he asked.
I told him everything, trying my hardest to avoid sobbing and making a scene.
"I just...don't want to live anymore." I said, my voice trembling.
Taehyung placed an arm on my shoulder.
"I will do anything to ensure my children are unharmed. Come with me to the lake, Jimin."
I nodded and followed him until we reached a lake.
"This will be your new home, Jimin." he said.
"My new home is beside a lake? I don't see any houses." I replied.
"You will be living in this lake, child."
"In the lake? How will I survive?"
"I assure you, child, no harm will come to you as long as I am around. Now, get in the water."
I dipped my feet into the cold water as he chanted in a strange language.
Suddenly, I felt some sort of energy flowing through my body, making me feel as if the lake and I were now one and the same.
I stared at my hands in awe as webs formed between my fingers and my skin now had a pale blue tint.
"Do well, my precious naiad." he said, placing his hands on my shoulders.
*
Being a naiad is pretty cool. I can do a bunch of things with water, shape-shift and change size at will, making it easier to communicate with the tiny forest fairies so that they don't feel uncomfortable talking to people who are much bigger than them.
At the moment, I was busy singing and playing my lyre when Jungkook, a forest fairy, bumped into me.
He shivered a little upon seeing me at my full height, so I decided to shrink down to his height to make him feel comfortable.
"The Lord of the Forest seeks an audience with you, Jimin." he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Is it so? I'll be right there." I said.
Jungkook nodded and flew away.
I took the form of a puddle of water and joined the lake, allowing it to guide me to the home of Lord Taehyung.
*
"Jiminie, my precious naiad," said Taehyung, his voice hoarse, "How delighted I am to see you."
"So am I, Lord Taehyung," I said, bowing, "How can I be of service?"
"I have news. Terrible news. The forest is dying, and so am I." he said.
I gasped. How could this be? The forest was completely fine the day before.
"This is because of the humans, Jimin. They're destroying the forest. And they're doing it at quite a rapid rate. By doing so, they're weakening me so much that I'm unable to fight." Taehyung rasped.
I was furious. Nobody dares to show such blatant disrespect towards the Lord, I thought.
"My Lord, I will put an end to this destruction." I growled, baring my teeth.
"That's my boy," he said hoarsely, patting my head as I bowed before taking his leave.
*
As I did my best to hide, I was a little upset about the fact that I wasn't a dryad like Hoseok, who could easily blend in with the mud and the trees.
I needed to be as quiet as possible.
Suddenly, I heard laughter. I pressed my back against a large willow tree and craned my neck a little to see two men armed with chainsaws.
I immediately recognised them as the Kim brothers, Seokjin and Namjoon.
They were two of the boys from my village who sought pleasure in torturing me.
This was the perfect opportunity for me to take revenge.
As I pictured myself as a fair maiden, my blonde locks grew longer and my skin began to appear more human-like. The webs between my fingers and toes disappeared and my sharp jawline began to soften and appear more feminine.
I stepped out from my hiding place and began to sing a song.
I sang, allowing the sweet melodies to echo throughout the forest and touch the hearts of all those who listened.
I mostly wanted to attract the Kim brothers. It was all part of a plan.
As if my prayers could be answered, I was suddenly interrupted by them. My plan was working.
"What a heavenly voice you have, fair lady." praised Namjoon.
"And what beauty! Even the Goddesses themselves aren't this beautiful." said Seokjin.
I ran my fingers through my hair and flashed the Kim brothers a seductive smile.
(A/N : Dear dirty-minded people, I have mentioned in all of my books that I never write smut.)
"Why, thank you very much. What brings two handsome, young men like you to the forest?" I giggled.
"We're just clearing some parts of the forest, that's all." said Namjoon.
You're planning to destroy the entire forest, you wicked beings, I thought. But I dared not react in any way.
"Yes, we are," said Seokjin, "And we're growing tired and hungry after working so much! Would you be kind enough to let us stay with you for a while?"
You're not tired. I don't even see any sweat dripping from your skin or staining your clothes, I thought.
This was perfect. They were about to fall right into my trap.
"Sure," I said, "Come along."
*
"Are we there yet?" asked Seokjin.
"We're almost there, it will only take us about a minute or two to arrive." I replied.
I looked around. My eyes soon landed on Hoseok, the dryad, who had sprouted thorny vines from his arms.
I nodded at him.
The vines sprouting from Hoseok's arms began to move, slithering quietly like a snake about to capture its prey.
Suddenly, Hoseok's vines managed to grab the Kim brothers by their legs.
They screeched and fell to the ground. They tried to set themselves free, but Hoseok's grip on them was way too strong.
"Fair maiden, help us!" screamed Seokjin and Namjoon in unison.
I let out a wicked laugh and slowly transformed back into my normal self.
"J-j-jimin?" whimpered Seokjin.
"Is it really you?" gasped Namjoon.
I flashed them an evil smirk.
"It's payback time, boys. This is for all the things you've done to me and the forest." I hissed.
Hoseok appeared from his hiding place and dragged the boys towards Lord Taehyung's dwelling.
*
"Do the both of you have any idea how important this forest is? It's home to many creatures and it even helps humans, but you have been destroying it all! You shall pay, wicked boys!" yelled Taehyung.
He then turned to Yoongi, the witch of the forest.
"Yoongi, decide a suitable punishment for them."
Yoongi nodded.
"How about I turn both of them into bonsai trees, my Lord?" he suggested.
The Kim brothers gasped.
"Excellent, Yoongi! You may perform your spell." said Taehyung.
Yoongi closed his eyes and chanted the words required for the spell to be in effect.
I watched in amazement as the boys shrank to the size of large dolls and suddenly began to sprout branches laden with leaves. Their bodies were soon rooted to the ground and their skin hardened into thick bark.
Hoseok approached the two bonsai trees. He frowned.
"They're begging for forgiveness, my Lord." he said.
"Leave them be. We'll check on them after a month to see if they're ready to redeem themselves. If they are, we can change them back, but if they dare to do any bad deeds even after learning their lesson, they will transform back into bonsai trees for a month." said Taehyung.
Hoseok nodded.
"Thank you so much for agreeing to help me out, Hoseok and Yoongi." said Taehyung.
"You should thank Jimin," said Hoseok, gesturing towards me, "He helped us execute this plan perfectly."
Taehyung walked over to me and planted a kiss upon my forehead.
"Thank you very much, Jiminie." he said.
I blushed, bowed and kissed the back of his hand.
