"Semi?"

2nd person POV

"we're gonna miss you n/n-chan!!" a blonde and gray haired pair of twins ran towards you, trying to give you a hug. they kept you company for the past two years, they were your best friends.

"i'm gonna miss you too tsumu and samu." you said as you hugged both of them back. you looked in front of you as you saw one of your other friends, a brown-haired boy taking a video of your precious moment with the twins. "suna!"

"eh..i'll miss you too." he said as he placed his phone on his pocket and joined in at the hug.

after the incident with semi, you couldn't stand seeing him again. you both promised to go to the same high school, but since things have changed— those plans may have been forgotten. you never knew where he transferred, but luckily it wasn't inarizaki— your school for the first two years of high school.

you moved away because of your parents' work, which you took advantage of because you wanted to be as far away as possible from the place— or person who broke your heart. but sadly, you have to go back for the same reason. so for your last year of high school, you were going to have it back at your hometown.

shirabu kenjiro, on the other hand, was the only person you kept in contact with from your previous  school. he was a close family and childhood friend but you never got to be close with him because you were too glued to semi.

but after the incident, you both became close. he would listen to all your venting and would always give you a shoulder to cry on. you never knew his personality was like this, he always looked cold on the outside.

you didn't tell him you were going back. his birthday was coming up and you wanted to surprise him.

after a very long trip from hyogo to sendai, you and your family finally reached back in your hometown. you got out of the car, seeing your old house after two years— it gave you a sense of nostalgia.

you ran to your old bedroom— quickly unpacking your clothes and things. you looked around the empty room— filled with so much memories.

it's like you never left.

and you couldn't help but tear up.

you saw the small writings on the wall, as well as some of his drawings that were scattered on your desk. both of you used to hang in here all the time. how you missed those memories.

"do you ever think of me eita?" you cried a little.

'i guess i still miss you.' your heart broke a little— you thought you've moved on.

'but do i still have feelings for you?' you don't even have an answer for that. you're conflicted about what you are feeling.

you suddenly got a text and when you checked it, it was kisa— shirabu's mom. she was the only who knew you were coming back, as well as you surprising her son.

"it's in three hours." you whispered to yourself, deciding to take a warm bath before getting ready.

you quickly changed to more presentable clothes. wearing f/c top with a pair of jeans and your favorite shoes. you took a bus going to his house as you scanned your surroundings— remembering your childhood years spent in this very place.

you arrived at his neighborhood— seeing his house from afar. there was a few cars outside his house— letting you be aware that there were visitors.

you knocked on the door, heart beating fast, hands and legs slightly shaking— you could hear several voices inside making you even more nervous.

"kenjiro, can you get that dear?" you heard a familiar female voice from inside the door, most likely his mother. you were excited to meet him.

"i can do it." you heard a very familiar voice— and somehow your heart slightly dropped. and you knew....it wasn't kenjiro's.

the door opened. your eyes met his brown ones. but they weren't kenjiro's.

they belonged to you your first love,

and you're first heartbreak.

"semi?"
