"No, I'm not afraid to DISAPPEAR
The billboard said, "The end is near"
I turned around, there was nothing there
Yeah, I guess THE END IS HERE"

- i know the end, pheobe bridgers

"lahey!" sasha ran up and wrapped her arms around the boy, standing in her doorway. "your you?" she smiled at him as he held her face

"yeah" he nodded back at her. "your you?"

"never changed."

"never do." he pulled the girl into a kiss, a familiar warmth spreading over sashas cold body. "you're freezing." he laughed as he held the girls hands

"i know, i can't sleep. he took lydia, isaac, i should've been protecting her."

"sasha, look at me." he moved the girls head to look up at him. "we will find her okay? scott and stiles are at the sheriffs station now already making a start. but right now, we both need sleep okay? we'll go out in the morning, sound good?"

sasha nodded, wrapping her arms around isaac again. "sleep sounds good."

‒───────‒°‒❀‒°‒───────‒

isaac ripped open the lock to the car park and th three walked towards the bright blue car. "that's it. that's lydia's car." allison said

"the scent's strong with emotion." isaac said

"fear?"

"no, anger."

"sounds like lydia to me." sasha said, smiling at allison as they inspected the car

Allison got into the car. sasha quickly opened the passengers door and slid in, leaving isaac standing out there. "i am not sitting in the back again." she smiled. isaac sighed heavily before getting into the back seat.

the three looked around the car, in all the pockets and the secret compartments. "hold on. do you see that?" allison asked, looking at the window

"what are we looking at excatly?" sasha said, confused because there was no movement outside the car park.

allison breathed on the window, fogging it up to show a hidden message.

dont find me.

‒───────‒°‒❀‒°‒───────‒

"here's your black coffee, weirdo." sasha said, getting back into the car and handing isaac the two coffee cups as she put her belt on.

"excuse me?" isaac said, offended

"only psychopaths' drink black coffee, everyone knows that."

"doesn't derek and peter drink black coffee?"

"yeah. and your point is...?"

"nothing. where to now?"

just then her phone buzzed, "it's scott, they found Meredith." she read out loud

"to scott's we go." isaac sighed as sasha pulled out of the car park

‒───────‒°‒❀‒°‒───────‒

the back door swung open and scott, kira and stiles ran into the kitchen, stopping as they saw isaac and sasha sitting down at the table, mr.mccall standing over them.

"what are you doing here?" scott asked

"i could ask you the same thing." his father said, placing his hands in his pocket.

"free period." stiles lied. "we're doing group study."

"who's she?" the detective nodded to meredith

"she's my girlfriend." stiles panicked, wrapping his arm awkwardly around the girl

"you're not my type." she said, sounding disgusted. sasha had to fight to hold back a laugh

"well, obviously we have a lot to talk about. we should maybe take this upstairs."

"he's my type." meredith smiled, looking at isaac. sasha's mouth fell open

"i'm sorry," sasha blinked. "what?!"

isaac looked around awkwardly. "okay..." stiles scratched his jaw. "isaac, you can come too."

"umm..." isaac got up following stiles and meredith out of the room, towards the stairs.

"hey no! he's my boyfriend!" sasha yelled, jumping up and following the group upstairs, giving the fakest smile she could manage to scott's dad on the way out

‒───────‒°‒❀‒°‒───────‒

"lydia? you mean the red haired girl." meredith asked the three as they stared at her.

"yes! yes! good. progress. now all you got to do is tell us where she is." stiles cheered as the girl finally caught on

"okay." meredith said. "if she tells me."

"if...she tells you?" isaac repeated

"can you ask her by any chance?" sasha asked the girl sitting on the bed.

"i already did." meredith blushed

"perfect. perfect. what did she say?" stiles questioned

"she said...she doesn't want to be found."

the three sighed in failure. "that's good too." stiles said, banging his fists against each other.

‒───────‒°‒❀‒°‒───────‒

"i'm just saying-" isaac tried to back up his idea. the three were in scott's bathroom, trying to figure out a way to get meredith to find lydia.

"lahey! we aren't going to torture her." sasha hissed at him

"i meant scare her." isaac defended himself.

"we're not going to psychologically torture her either." stiles whispered

"fine." isaac sighed "okay how bout this? you said she heard things right?"

"yeah." stiles nodded

"doesn't that mean she's like lydia? a banshee?" the three looked back into the bedroom where meredith was sitting still on the bed.

"okay so how do we get lydia to focus?" sasha asked

stiles walked back into the room and the three of them bent down around the girl. "okay just try to focus on the sounds around you." stiles instructed the girl. "on what you're hearing. just focus on the silence."

"listen to the silence." isaac nodded

"focusing on the silence." stiles said through his teeth.

"listening to the-"

"oh my god!" sasha groaned. "stop it! you're going to confuse her!"

"yeah isaac let me handle this!" stiles snapped. "i just have...more experience with banshees."

"yeah. and mental patients." isaac sighed causing the two to dart their head to him.

"do you need to leave the room for a minute?" sasha asked pointing to the door.

"no. i'm fine." isaac smiled, leaning back.

"isn't anyone going to get that?" meredith spoke.

"get what?" stiles asked

"the phone."

"what phone?"

"the phone." isaac patted stiles as meredith pointed to his jacket pocket.

"oh the phone." stiles nodded, pulling out his phone from his pocket. "my phone? yes" stiles held the phone up to his head, rubbing his chin trying to figure out what to say. "hello. yes, she's...she's actually... she's sitting right here. it's for you."

he handed the girl the phone. meredith brought it up to her eye, nodded, before handing it back to stiles. "they say coup de foudre."

"coup de what..?" stiles looked up at the other two for guidance. "is that spanish?"

"french...i think?" sasha frowned. stiles looked up at her, signalling his hand for the girl to keep going. "oh don't look at me. i don't know french! in fact i'm failing it."

"it's french." scott appeared at the doorway, all of the head darting towards him. "and i think i know what it means."

‒───────‒°‒❀‒°‒───────‒

"hey you okay?" stiles asked scott while driving his jeep.

"yeah." scott smiled, snapping out of his thoughts. sasha looked up at isaac, who she was leaning on in the back seat as they drove towards lydia. "yeah. you don't have to worry about me."

"alright, i'm gonna say it. you look like you're dying." isaac said plainly looking at stiles. "you're pale and your thin, and you look like you're getting worse."

sasha sat up, punching the boy lightly on his arm before falling back onto his chest. "hey! we're all sitting here thinking it! when we find the other you is he gonna look like he's getting better?"

"what happens if he gets hurt?" scott asked

"what do you mean? like, if he dies, then do i die?" stiles said. "i don't care. just so long as no one else dies because of me."

"i care." sasha said. "i'm not going to let you die stiles."

"you don't understand, i remember everything i did. i remember pushing that sword into you, scott. i remember twisting it. i remember all the terrible things i said to you sasha. everything."

"it wasn't you." scott reassured him

"yeah but i remember it." stiles argued. "you guys have got to promise me. you can't let anyone else get hurt because of me."

"okay." sasha gave a small smile as the other two nodded. she wasn't sure if she meant it though. scott needed stiles. everyone needed stiles.

‒───────‒°‒❀‒°‒───────‒

the four got out of the car and walked up to allison and kira who were standing at the gate. sasha grabbed onto isaacs hand as she stared up the sign above the gates. "so who's gonna do the pep talk?" sasha attempted a smile towards scott.

he smiled back at her, "we've done this before guys. a couple of weeks ago we were standing around like this and we saved malia, remember? that was a total stranger. this is lydia."

"i came here to save my best friend." allison said

"so did i." sasha added

"i came here to save mine." scott said, looking around at the group

"i just didn't feel like doing any homework." isaac smiled. sasha punched him in the arm again. "stop doing that!"

"no." she smiled and the group began walking by into the yard, not looking back. sasha was going to make sure lydia was saved, one way or another.
