~Chapter V: Shopping~

PREVIOUSLY..
"orange looks good on you"

"Oh my! Thank you Pony!"
"No screwin' around, ya hear me?"

"When dal gets back tell 'im me and Pony are looking for a bed for me!"
i said grabbing Pony's hand and running towards the bed section

Once we got there i jumped in the biggest one

"Look at this one Pony!" i said flipping over to look at him

"Looks comfy, but will that one fit in your room?"

"Oh, no way. i just did this for fun. Come join me!!" i said patting the place next to me. It was a king sized bed so it was huge!!

He started walking away and i got a bit sad, i thought he was fun like me.

But then he instantly turned around and ran towards me.

He jumped on the spot next to me and bounced a little.

He looked up at me and we both started laughing.

"OH MY GOD THAT.. WAS SO FUNNY" I said between gasps of air

He was laughing too and fixing his hair since it got messed up.

We sat up in the edge of the bed and i he had a little strand of hair sticking up out of place.

"Oh, Pony ya got a lil hair out of place. lemme fix it."

I scooted closer to him and brushed my fingers through his hair to fix it.

I looked down at him and i didn't realize how close we were.

He was significantly taller than me, considering i was 5'4 and he's 5'7

i cleared my throat and backed up.

"Let's go look at more" I got up and grabbed his hand and dragged him along again.

"I'm looking for a queen sized bed for my room. I got the second biggest since Dal took the biggest" i scoffed

"The queens are over here Val.." Pony said pointing in the opposite direction i was going in

I cleared my throat and spun on my heels "I knew that."

i ran over to the beds and jumped on the squishiest one. My top almost came off but i fixed it before Pony saw..

"nah i don't like this one." and i got off and jumped onto one that's half and half.

perfect.

"Oh pony, this is the one. Come join me." i scooted over so he could flop too.

"Oh yeah, this is great!" he said and looked at me

i called over the sales guy and told him to put this bed on hold.

Me and pony walked back to the entrance to find Dally and look for a couch with him. Once he got there i told him i found me a bed.

We all met up and looked for a good couch.

We found a nice couch.

We were going to go for a beige look in our house so we settled for a beige one.

We were gonna go for a blue kitchen so we got a beautiful blue fridge.

Next we were gonna look for a bed and frame for Dally.

"Yeah i'm uh, i'm looking for a black base board man, i don't know which one though. I've never gone this type of shopping" He said to darry looking around.

"Ugh this is kind of boring now." i said  to pony

"Yeah, it's only fun shopping for yourself"

"Literally." i said plopping on a random arm chair we were passing by.

"Ooh! Dals this chair is awesome!" i said getting comfy. it was a beige chair so it'd match

"How much?" he walked over to me

i scooted over and Pony sat next to me. "It's only 25$!" i said excitedly

Dally sighed.
"I guess we can get it."

"Dals can we stay here? I'm bored and i don't feel like walking arounddddd" i said putting my head on Pony's shoulder

"Fine. No monkey business though! alright?" and off he went

I rolled my eyes jokingly "Fineeee" i mocked

He turned around super fast and me and pony looked at eachother, then back to him and started busting out laughing.

He then walked off

"Pony, tell me about yourself." i said looking at him

"Well what's there to tell, I like movies and books and i've got 2 older brothers."

"What about your parents?" his face dropped.

"They.. passed away in an automobile accident.. a while ago."

"Oh my, i'm so sorry. I didn't mean to bring up a sensitive topic."

"Oh no your good. You didn't know. Now your turn."

"I don't got much, People didn't like me since i was dallys sister so everyone parted way when i walked into a room. I had a job but i obviously don't anymore. Might get one though."

"Oh i've heard my brother say they need a new cashier."

"Oh cool, do you have a job"

"Nah, Darry said it'd lower my grades even though it's summer."

"We should get a job together, since we already know eachother! And if we do work with.." i forgot his name.

"Soda?"

"Yeah! with soda, we will be with your brother!"

"Oh yeah,"

"I'm bored. Let's go look for a new dresser for me." i said and grabbed his hand

"I want a white one to match my room."

"How do you have so much money??" Pony asked

"I stole it." he just looked at me. "Well i didn't Steal it. My parents left it so i took it, it was fair game!"

"Ohh, That makes sense. What about your parents? what do you mean they left it?"

"Uh, so the other day i came home from work.. and my mom wasnt home. i asked my dad where she went and he told me she left.. and then he left too. so i took their money and called dally and now.. this is my forever home!" i said looking at a beautiful dresser. it was white with heart holes in each drawer for a handle.

"Oh, i'm so sorry. I think that's worse than your parents dying.. knowing that they just left and didn't care."

"I don't really care. It just gave me another reason to see Dally and meet all of you. So maybe it was destined"

"That's a good way to look at it"

"Yeah, i hate sad stuff. Don't ya think this dresser is cute?"

"Yeah, it'll match the bed."

The bed frame we found was white wiring with hearts in it

"Oh that's right! Perfect."

We scavenged around for some more stuff. We found me a cute lamp and the base of it was white hearts! Perfect!!

Once we were done we looked where Dally Darry and Soda went.

We only found Dally and Darry, Soda had to go to work

"Ya find everything you want?"

"Yep! Did you?"

"Yeah, Let's go get the guy and tell 'em what we're getting."

After we did all of that we paid and we put the stuff in the U-Haul.
