"I ONCE SAW A RWABBIT," the child spoke as Muzan listened to her words carefully. "In my opinion, rwabbits– are scwawy," Y/n said as she shivered at the thought of being in one room with that small fur ball animal. "They once JWUMPED on me and stwained my favorite kimono, evwer since then, I was never the swame with rabbits. Kuno told me that they always jwump, but it's annoying!" Y/n wailed.

"Mwy favorite kimono.. the only kimono I hwave that has pwokects. I store all of my stickers there, but I lost some stickers because I fwell onto the mud when the rabbwit jwumped on me," Y/n huffed in pure annoyance. "How there thwey–" she said in frustration. "But then, Kuno picked it up and pwat it, and I felt...– BETWAYED."

Muzan just smiled silently, holding himself from bursting into fits of laughter. Her pursed his lips and looked intently at Y/n. "Continue princess," Muzan smiled. "Okway, so anyways, Kuno thwen THREW the rabbit away towards the woods and hwe pwicked me up and he was like 'HAH! SWIKE! THAT'S WHAT YOU GWET FOR MWAKING MY BEST FRIEND CRY,' and thwen he carried me on his back to his house, thwen his older sistwer took care of everythwing, but unfortunately, the mwud sticked on to my kwimono."

"Bwut hwey, my favorite pwerson in the world gwave me 30 more kwimonos, and all of them have... POCKETS," Y/n said with random hand gestures as sparkles erupted around her. The lord demon king let out a warm chuckle and smiled softly.

'Her favorite person in the world,' Muzan thought. "You know, a lot of people cursed at me, spat insults, swearing onto themselves that they'd bring me to hell, and yet you," he shoved his finger towards her gently. "You're the only one who says the complete opposite," he smiled. "gAsp. No bwody is supposed to sway that to someone else, espwecially Pwapa because my pwapa is the nwicest person in the whole entire world," Y/n beamed brightly.

"Really now?" Muzan raised a brow, tilting his head. He knows full well, he was the exact opposite of her words, but hearing her saying that makes him believe in every word she said. After all, she was her dearest and he was her dearest.

"Dearest, dearest," Muzan cooed. "You're my dearest, don't forget that," he smiled happily as he placed his forehead on to her tiny one and Y/n tapped his chin with a giggle. "Ywou're my dearest twoo. So, dwon't forgwet that."

"I won't."

"MAKE IT A PWOMISE."

"I promise," he chuckled in amusement. It's odd to see the demon king being so giggly and soft around the girl, but, it's his daughter after all, it was a rather disappointing fact that Y/n isn't his biological daughter, but Muzan doesn't really give much attention to it. The main point is that she's here with him, and he's here with her.

"Pwapa. Can we play outside?" Y/n asked as she played and twirled with his black curls on her finger. "But it's raining," he grimaced greatly. "But I wanna plway, so cwan I?" Y/n asked. "But you'll get sick," Muzan said as he leaned back. "But I wanna plway," Y/n whined. "I wanna plway!" this is a secret technique of Y/n, whining until she gets what she wants.

She knows very well that Muzan wouldn't be able to say no to her eventually. "Kuno and i plwayed in the rain last twime, and I dwidn't get sick at all, so let's gwo!" Y/n eclaime as she stand up. Muzan sighed. "Fine. Fine. What do you want to do outside anyways?" Muzan asked. "Can we dwance? Kuno told me that hwe lwoves to dance with hwis sister, so can we? Can we?" Y/n beamed, jumping up and down. The only dance she knows is wiggling her hips down till her bottom touched the ground before wiggling her hips back up again. She calls it the 'wiggling worm.'

Muzan sighed in defeat and held out his hand to her. Y/n happily grabbed it before he carried her in his arms and then he lead the both of them outside the estate. "Are you sure about this?" he asked as he looked up at the rain and stood on the engawa with Y/n in his arms. "Ywes! Ywes!" Y/n beamed at the dark sky that was pouring out rain.

"Alright. Anything for you."

Muzan placed her down on the engawa as Y/n snatched his hand, she giggled brightly before dragging the old man towards the open garden in front. "Wait, Y/n, nevermind–" Muzan said but it was too late, he was brought into the garden that was beaten up fiercely by the pouring rain.

Muzan deadpanned. 'Dammit, I made the worst decision in my life,' he thought silently as he grabbed both hands of little Y/n as Y/n stepped on his shoes so that she could at least be as tall as half of Muzan. Y/n cheered happily as Muzan gracefully led her into a small dance session. This was something new for little Y/n, perhaps that is how to dance with two people.

Muzan could only smile at her bright features as the both of them got heavily soaked by the pouring rain. In the end, the dance only lasted about three minutes, because Muzan started to get worried for Y/n's health and so he swiftly raised her figure by dragging both of her hands up before letting go and catching her in his arms. "Satisfied?" he asked. "Verwy," Y/n snickered happily. "Good, now let's go inside, yeah? I don't want you getting sick," he remarked as he dug his face on to the crook of her neck and brought her inside the Estate.
