Y/N WAS BROUGHT to the town as Urogi held Y/n's hand tightly. The lanterns shone brightly as it hung gracefully, the sound of shopkeepers urging for customers to come inside their shops were heard rumbling from the distance. The lights were decorating the scene perfectly as a ginger cat with green eyes was following his master happily.

"Twinkle Twinkle Lwittle Stwar," she hummed, remembering what Akaza told her. People shot weird gazes at Urogi and Y/n due to how skeptical Urogi looked. People felt the urge to 'save' this child, but the child looked so happy and she looked like she trusted the man a lot. So, some decided to stalk them, just in case something gets out of hand. Y/n then was stirred away from the crowd as she and Shoga followed the demon to one of the stalls.

"Oooh! What's thwis?" Y/n asked as she looked up at the tall stand. "Hm, I'm not sure. I haven't eaten these foods for a long time," Urogi said under his breath. "Hello, welcome. Would you like to buy some soba noodles?" the old woman in the stall asked kindly. "These are soba noodles," Urogi beckoned to the bowl that the woman had already prepared, but Y/n was incredibly short so she couldn't see anything. Urogi looked down at her to see that she was making grabby hands up towards him.

"Upsies! I nweed upsies to swee!" Y/n exclaimed as Urogi felt the inside of his heart bursting in adoration before he swiftly picked her up. Y/n held on to Urogi's cloak tightly, which secretly became Urogi's new fetish. Shoga clawed Urogi's cloak and aggressively tried to rip it with his tiny claws. Y/n looked down at the woman who held a bowl of soba noodles and beamed. "Papwa and I always eat this. I want to eat it!" she exclaimed as Urogi gave her a small smile before placing her down on one of the stools.

"You heard that guys? Her dad and her, so this meant that that person over there just kidnapped the child!" one of the citizens hissed to the other. The other squinted their eyes at them both. "Hm..." they muttered. "Guys, I think you guys are overthinking it. I mean look at them. I have a feeling that they are brothers and sisters," one of them remarked. "You don't know that!" one hissed. "Shh, they're speaking!" the other said.

"Here's your soba noodles," the old woman smiled as she placed the bowl before the child. Urogi sat next to the child before placing both of his folded arms on to the wooden counter and placed his head on to his arms, hiding most of his face as one of his golden colored eyes stared at Y/n eating the noodles happily.

Shoga pouted and he started climbing up the chair before holding on to Y/n's kimono for dear life. Y/n stopped eating and looked down before smiling happily, the broth stained her cheeks messily and she picked her ginger cat before placing him on to her lap. Y/n patted him as she used her other hand to eat the soba noodles.

Urogi felt a weird stir inside his heart. He pouted silently at the girl giving her cat more attention than to him. "Urwogi-san, you twold me that you haven't ever trwied this right? Here," Y/n said happily as she gave him a fork that was rolled with noodles. Urogi's head perked up, he pulled the hood even further down to his face as a smile formed.

"Thank you. Y/n," he said brightly before grabbing the fork and eating the noodles, trying to hide the disgust of the taste. "How is it?" the old lady asked as she smiled softly at the child. "It's amwazing!" Y/n exclaimed happily as she beamed up at the old lady. The old lady chuckled before she snapped, remembering that she had a gift for children somewhere. She then went deeper into the stall as she pulled out a sheet of stickers.

She walked back to the counter and slipped it on to the wooden table, in front of Y/n. "Here. A gift for you," the old lady smiled kindly as she handed the sticker sheet. "OH MWY GWOSH," Y/n exclaimed. "Thank ywou so mwuch!" she squealed as she grabbed the sheet of sticker. "These stwickers lwook so cute," she fangirled over the stickers as Urogi smiled warmly at the happy child.

You see. There is nothing more happy for Urogi but to see Y/n happy. If she's happy, he's also happy. Nothing else could feed Urogi's happiness unless it's seeing Y/n smiling. As Y/n ate her food gingerly, she fed some of the soaked vegetables to Shoga, the old lady even offered her cat a plate of cat food.

"Aw, see? Father and daughter moments," one of them said from the crowd. "Ah, I guess it's just a false alarm, let's go home now, Haruki," the other one exclaimed in a relieved manner. 'Yeah, let's go home, brother," the other stated before the three of them went home, feeling relieved that the h/c haired girl wasn't in danger.

Urogi grabbed the hem of his sleeve before wiping her messy mouth and then pulling out some cash that Muzan had entrusted on him before handing it to the lady. "You can keep the change, lady!" he exclaimed brightly, only his mouth was seen. Half of his face was covered as he swiftly carried Y/n into his arms before walking away.

Y/n cuddled into Urogi's warmth as Shoga cuddled into Y/n. Shoga purred in content as Y/n smiled silently as she let out a small sigh. "Urwogi?" Y/n asked as she tilted her head up to look up at Urogi. "Yeah?" he asked questioningly as he raised a brow and looked down at Y/n. "Thwanks for twoday," Y/n said with an eye closed smile, before she swiftly peeled off a sticker, sticking it on his cheeks. "Thwat's for you. My hwappiness."

Urogi stopped in his tracks, the distant rumble of crowds fading as they stood in the quiet parts of the festival. Urogi smiled down at her warmly. "I'm your happiness now?" he asked, tilting his head as he raised Y/n a bit. "Always!" she exclaimed brightly before she looked at Urogi's face for a bit with a small smile. Urogi leaned in as he nuzzled his nose against her small one. "You're my happiness too, dear," Urogi smiled happily as Y/n giggled brightly.

"I love ywou!" Y/n exclaimed brightly before gently patting his cheeks. "I love you more."
