Now, time for a pop quiz.
Why do we have hands?
Pat the Mimi.
Hold the Mimi.
Cherish the Mini.
Forfeit all mortal possessions to Mimi.
And when some smelly π Fragmentum creature touches Mini, y/n shows no mercy.
There was a loud SPLAT and everyone looked to investigate, only to find a mess of blood and Fragmentum creature pieces on the ground.
Y/n was rubbing her hands off with a spare cloth, and paused when she noticed everyone giving her weird looks.
"What? I slapped it."
Caelus shivered, "I guess I should have expected this... considering she broke two fingers with a pillow."
"Look away if you've got a problem with it." y/n groaned, "This is such a hassle. You mind if I go ahead and get this over with?"
"You won't have much luck finding Kafka without Diting!" March called out as y/n hopped onto the top of a shipping container.
"Really? I found your phone after you lost it with nothing but the two day old scent of cinnamon that was barely even on it to help me." y/n retorted, "I think I'll be alright."
"It's dangerous to go alone! I'll go with you!" Caelus called out as he scrambled up onto the shipping container with her.
After tugging him up, the duo continued on their way, navigating the tops of the shipping containers in Stargazer Navalia.
"Are you really able to track Kafka like this?" Caelus inquired as they hopped down from another container and walked along the ground together, "I get that you're good at fighting, but there's no way you've got senses this strong."
Y/n only smiled, "What good is a warrior who can't hear or smell her enemies approaching, hm? It's actually a very useful ability to have." the woman's smile fell, turning into a look of displeasure as she looked up to a shipping container, "Especially when tracking down sly little serpents like this lady here."
"Oh my, you really are quite the hunter." Kafka purred from where she stood on the shipping container behind the two, Caelus giving her a look of shock, "A pleasure to finally meet you in person, y/n. This isn't the first time we've met, but I don't expect you to remember our first encounter."
The h/c haired woman raised a brow, "First encounter? The first time we met was when you sent a message to the Astral Express."
"Ah... I suppose individuals stuck in trees might not have the best memory." Kafka murmured and y/n tensed.
Great. She knew about the tree.
Now y/n had to delay killing her to ask questions.
But firstβ
"Those Cloud Knights with you, they don't smell like the mara-struck, but something is wrong with them." y/n stated in a cold tone, "What did you do to them?"
"Just a little bit of persuasion to get them to listen to me." Kafka replied nonchalantly, before giving Caelus a side long smirk, "But you already know all about that, don't you Caelus?"
Caelus grimaced and while y/n didn't look at him, he could tell that she was paying whole lot more attention.
"Hah... this is too much of a hassle. Too far for the diviner." Kafka murmured before turning away, "See you up ahead."
She continued on her merry way, and the Cloud Knights blocked y/n's way before she could give chase.
"Y/n, what do weβ"
"Duck."
Caelus moved too late for y/n's liking, so she swept his leg out from under him and sent him to the ground right as one of the Cloud Knights lunged and swiped at him.
"Your form is π!" y/n shouted at the Cloud Knight before slapping him across the face, "Train more!"
While the slap didn't kill him like it killed the Fragmentum creature, it sent him flying into the other two and allowed her to tug Caelus to his feet run after Kafka.
"What about Mr. Yang, Miss Tingyun and March?" Caelus demanded but y/n gave him no reply, "Hey, y/n-!"
He looked at her and found that her eyes were focused on Kafka. Focused. Determined. The look of a hunter.
Caelus gulped.
'Oh boy. This could be problematic.'
They stopped at a gate just as Kafka walked through, the doors beginning to close behind her. She cast them one last glance, "A little too slow there, Trailblazers."
"Damn it, let's find another way around!" Caelus turned to go but y/n ran right at the gate, 'Omg what's she gonna do?'
She shifted her body and struck the gate with her elbow, sending the doors flying right off and smacking into shipping containers on the other side.
Caelus gawked, "What the hell?!"
Y/n looked back at him and gestured for him to come before running off around the corner in a hurry.
The young man looked back but saw no sign of the others. Urgh... he really didn't want to face Kafka without back up there, but he couldn't let y/n go alone.
He ran after y/n, catching up to her only due to her dropping upon finally reaching Kafka who simply stood there. Waiting for them.
The woman smiled an ominous smile.
Calm. Too calm. Caelus really didn't like this.
"This was all part of your plan, wasn't it?" Caelus demanded, but the woman didn't respond.
Kafka shook her head, "I didn't plan anything, it was the future. We interfere on countless future possibilities and make the best future a reality. The Stellaron Hunters are merely destiny's slaves."
The best future, huh? Y/n didn't believe that π©.
'Forget it, whatever she has to say probably isn't the truth anyways.' y/n thought irritably, 'We were asked to bring her alive, but death is the only suitable punishment for this one.'
Caelus noticed y/n's hand and he broke out into a cold sweat when he saw her form a fist. After remembering what happened to just about everyone she punched with the intent to kill, he blurted, "We're taking you to see the General of the Luofu! Don't know or care if you're truly innocent, the general will decide your fate."
"Oh." Kafka crossed her arms, "Thanks, but no thanks. I can't stand moving at someone else's pace. We don't have much time. If I were you, I'd make a move before it's too late."
'βπΆ, I'm trying to help you! Stfu!'
'Leave this one, Caelus, she's for the streets.'
Caelus gave y/n a look of alarm.
'WHY ARE YOU IN MY HEAD?!'
And with that, Kafka lunged for Caelus with a dangerous looking sword in hand. She was aiming right for his neck, but the blade stopped right before it could chop the young man's head right off.
He could only blink owlishly as the tip just barely grazed his throat. Caelus took in Kafka's little look of amusement, before following her gaze to y/n.
The woman had caught the sword right before it could slice into Caelus, holding it firmly with two fingers to avoid being cut by it.
"Oh my, just as quick as the rumors proclaimed. You've got some good reflexes, y/n." Kafka hummed.
"Talk or I kill you. What do you know about that tree?" y/n demanded as he released the tip of the sword, her expression really scaring the π© out of Caelus.
'Girlie, please just chill. I get that she just tried to kill me, but we have to bring her alive! Otherwise, we'll be labeled as criminals too!'
Labeled as criminals all because y/n didn't get her answer, got mad and punched Kafka's head right off, what a horrible thought.
Caelus didn't want that, mainly because Kafka was too hot to die, but also because he was tired of being called a criminal.
(This one is for you Kafka simps π«Άπ½)
"Well, if you're that desperate to know." Kafka grabbed y/n by the front of her clothing and dragged her closer, whispering something in her ear.
Y/n's eyes widened and she looked like she was about to kill Kafka right there and then, "You're lying!"
"I could be, but think about it. What reason would I have to lie to you?" Kafka replied with a little tilt of her head, "A rather boring thing to lie about, don't you think?"
Well. Whatever it was, it shocked y/n enough to temporarily keep her from killing Kafka. It also bamboozled her to the point where she just let the woman grab ahold of her jaw to force her to lookβ wait a damn.
'Y/N, YOU LUCKY βπΆ, THAT SHOULD'VE BEEN ME!!!' he screeched internally before remembering the Cloud Knight situation a couple minutes ago, 'WAIT. NO. THAT'S BAD.'
He opened his mouth to warn the dumb βπΆ who'd let her guard down, but it was a tad bit too late as Kafka said the magic word.

The first sign that told Welt something had gone horribly wrong was when they found some Cloud Knights laid out on the ground, clearly knocked out by y/n *the evidence being the imprint of a hand on the side of one of the Cloud Knights' helmet*.
Tingyun had immediately gone to their aid, demanding to know what happened, but none could really remember anything useful.
The one with the dented helmet recalled being slapped and ordered to, "Train more" before he'd blacked out.
Another vaguely remembered the word, "Listen."
And the third immediately understood the situation.
"That woman, the Stellaron Hunter, she's dangerous!" he'd told them, "I'm not sure how she did it, but it was like she brainwashed us all! We only regained our sense of self after that woman with the scary e/c eyes came through and knocked us all out!"
Further up ahead, they found a broken down gate.
It was pretty obvious who did that, same with the many deceased creatures laid out past the gate, fragmentum and mara-struck alike.
It was then that the second sign of the horrible situation finally came. A scream, Caelus from the sound of it, not too far away.
"Damn, he screams even more like a girl than I do." March murmured before giving Welt a worried look, "Still, it sounded pretty real. Do you think him and y/n are okay?"
"Only one way to find out." Welt replied, "Let's go."
Big π πing mistake.
Letting y/n go ahead was a big πing mistake, and there was nothing that could convince Caelus otherwise.
No, he wasn't being harsh.
How could you call that being harsh WHEN Y/N WAS LITERALLY TRYING TO PUT HIM SIX FEET UNDER.
'Is this how Gepard felt when he fought her?' Caelus wondered as he blocked a fist to the gut only for a second force to force him back. The only reason he didn't fall over was because he'd dug his heels in the ground, but y/n gave him 0 time to rest as she lunged for him again.
Gah damn, she was scaryβ
Caelus squealed, actually squealed, when a kick that felt like it would've probably knocked his head off missed him. Of course, out of the corner of his eye, he saw her πing stand*not a stand* right as it thrusted a sword at him and nearly cut his neck off.
It just grazed his face, leaving a long cut on the side of it, but that π© hurt like hell! Caelus did his best defending, blocking, and avoiding fatal hits, but he wouldn't be able to keep it up for long.
The more time he spent holding backβ
The closer and closer y/n got to killing him.
Kafka simply stood off to the side, watching on like it was a πing tv show as Caelus did his best to avoid being killed by his fellow hydrogen bomb. The fact that she hadn't skedaddled was very suspicious, but now wasn't the time to focusβ HOLY π©.
Caelus gasped when y/n grabbed him by the throat, and he attempted to let out a, "Y/n-!" only for the βπΆ to lift him up and slam him onto the ground.
The young man had the air knocked out of him and he gasped for air as he tried to recover from his winded state, y/n straddling him and stamping a foot down on the hand that held his Lance to keep him from moving.
All he managed to do was scoot his head out of the way just as she pulled that broken sword out of its scabbard and tried to πing stab him with it.
The hell was a broken sword going to do?
Not even a second later, shifting tones of blue and purple light burst from the broken sword and plunged into the ground, leaving cracks and a shocked Caelus staring at it in horror.
'What the hell, dude!'
Y/n tore it out of the ground, unblinking *scary π*, and attempted to stab Caelus in the chest only for him to use his one free hand to grab her wrist a push back.
And so, they were at a stalemate.
Y/n trying to stab him in the chest.
And Caelus using all his strength to prevent that.
"Damn it, y/n, where's this ruthlessness when we're in danger, huh?" Caelus demeaned through clenched teeth, "Snap out of it...!"
Y/n showed no signs of even hearing him, her brows furrowing and frustration creeping into her expression as she applied more pressure. That very dangerous looking light that formed the sword's missing half got closer and closer to Caelus's chests, and he only began to panic more and more.
π©. She was actually going to kill him.
The sword got closer and closer before y/n halted, something else catching her attention. There was the sound of an arrow being fired.
In one swift motion, she ripped her sword away and grabbed Caelus, tugging his body up to use him as a human shield. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw an arrow made of March's six phased ice headed right off his π only for a tear to open up in space and swallow it whole.
"March!!!" Caelus complained.
"Sorry, sorry!" March said quickly.
Welt, March, and Tingyun had all arrived, the little Diting still with them, and were all equally confused by the scene before them.
"Huh? Y/n?" March tilted her head, "Did she finally snap and try to kill you for touching Mr. Yang's scarf?"
"No, that Kafka lady brainwaβ" y/n slammed him back to the ground, planting a foot on his back to keep him down as she glared at the three newcomers, sword still grasped tightly in her hand.
"Ah, and everyone is finally here. I was getting a little bored, so I decided to entertain myself a little with your little Cloud Knight friend." Kafka purred, "I hope you don't mind."
"What did you do to y/n?" March demanded, raising her bow to fire an arrow at the woman, "Get to talking!"
Kafka feigned surprise, "What did I do? I hardly did anything, really." she smirked over to Caelus, "Just a little bit of persuasion, is all."
March gritted her teeth, "Hardly did anything my π! Whatever you did to y/n, let her go right now!"
She fired another arrow, this one aimed for Kafka, but a s/c hand snatched it out of the air, twirling it between her fingers before πing stabbing it right through Caelus's hand and into the ground.
(Dude is just suffering today π)
His "πing hell!" was muffled by the ground when y/n stepped on the back of his head to stand in front of him and right in the path which led to Kafka.
The in duty train guard did not say a word, but the message was clear. Until they figured out a way to undo Kafka mind ππ©, she was their enemy.
"Sorry, Caelus-!" March apologized quickly, gaze darting from y/n, to Caelus, and back to y/n, "Mr. Yang, what do we do? We can't hurt her!"
"We might have to." the man said in a grim tone, "In this state, she won't hesitate to kill us if we hold back."
"But..." March seemed uncertain.
"Would you rather hurt y/n but be able to get her back, or have all of us be killed and leave her to live in the aftermath?" Welt questioned.
March bit her lip, 'Damn it, she'll heal anyways.'
"Fine! Let's get this over with!" she blurted.
Kafka grinned, "Oh my, things are getting amusing again. You certainly don't disappoint."
(Idk why but these are giving the same vibes)
