Parvati lay on her bed at home, as it was term holidays for the students of Mumbhattan Visions Academy. It had been about 4 weeks since the fall of the Alchemax building, and the city was already on the way of repairing any damage. She held the Scientist's watch in her hands, fiddling around with the large map displayed on the screen, making sure to not press anything.

Pavitr's face appeared in her mind's eye, and she smiled slightly. Their relationship had grown closer over the past few weeks. He was the sweetest person she's met. During the term at Vision's Academy, they'd spend the breaks huddled together on the grounds, and embrace in the dark corners of hallways in between classes. Every moment with him made her more than happy.

There was a quick knock on her window, and she quickly stuffed the watch under her pillow before sitting up. She looked out and saw Pavitr in his Spiderman form, crouched on the windowsill, waiting for her to let him in. Parvati laughed at his rain-soaked form, opening the glass and watching him jump inside.

Pavitr took his mask off and shook his hair, 'Argh God! I hate it when it rains, and I have duty.'

Parvati laughed as he chucked his mask on her bed, looking at her grumpily with his sodden hair. He took a towel from her bathroom and started to dry himself and his hair. She was hit with a sudden feeling of deja vu to the day when he'd come and warned her about the terrorist attack months ago.

'Aww,' she popped up her onto her toes and pecked him on the cheek, before gently using the towel to dry his hair, 'But you're a hero, and that's what matters.'

'I guess,' Pavitr shut his eyes under her touch, feeling relaxed, 'Being Spiderman does have its pros and cons.'

'And I'm very proud of you,' she says, giving his hair one last shake and chucking the towel away, 'Go change into something more comfortable. Your bag is behind my desk.'

Pavitr always kept a bag in her room for when he comes in his Spiderman form and has to change into something so Parvati's family doesn't run into her with Mumbhattan's friendly superhero in her room. He picked up the bag and headed into the bathroom. After a few minutes, he stepped out wearing a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie. He made a beeline for her, wrapping his arms around her in a big bear hug.

Parvati laughed, burying her face into his neck, 'You and your obsession of hugs.'

'I like hugging you,' Pavitr started rocking them from one foot to the other foot, 'You're like my personal teddy bear.'

She breathed his scent in, feeling safe in his arms. He gently rubbed circled on the small of her back, resting his head on top of hers. He used his other hand to gently run his fingers through her hair, making sure there are no strands on her face.

'Hey Parvati?'

'Hmm?'

'I have a question.'

'Hmm?'

'How come you didn't act surprised when I told you I was Spiderman? I honestly thought you would,' Pavitr looked down as he spoke, his lips brushing against her forehead.

Parvati froze slightly at that. She had been contemplating whether to tell him she was the Prowler or not. But if she did, she was worried that he would leave her because she tried to kill him. The Scientist anyways wasn't asking for updates or checking anything, so she assumed the woman didn't want Pavitr dead anymore.

'Uh...' she lied, before suddenly remembering something, 'You kissed me before I could say anything. And anyways, your hair's kind of a dead giveaway. I was surprised I didn't notice first.'

He blinked, 'Huh... that does make sense... but I don't want to keep my hair under a mask, as it'll lose all that gorgeous volume. Tch, imagine all that coconut oil going to waste! The founder of Parachute would kill me!'

- PARACHUTE APPRECIATION -

Parvati would like to inform you Chai Tea readers that Pavitr uses the entire 1 litre bottle every time after he washes his hair.

Okay back to the story.

Parvati laughed, 'Drama king.'

'Drama king to my drama queen!' Pavitr laughed at his own compliment. The watch on his watch beeped and he groaned into her shoulder, lifting up his watch to check, 'What does Miggy want from me now?'

Parvati eyed the way he fiddled with the watch, as it was the same as the one she'd stolen from the Scientist. She memorised the certain buttons he pressed, and how he manoeuvred his way around the information and screens, before opening up a notification.

'... routine meeting... compulsory... blah blah blah usual stuff,' he yawned, 'I want to sleep.'

'Pavi you have to go,' Parvati told him, gently caressing his jaw, 'Otherwise this "Miggy" will be angry at you.'

Pavitr sighed, before taking his hoodie off to reveal his Spiderman suit, 'I swear he holds meetings at the most inconvenient times...'

She laughed as he continued to undress to expose his suit, before opening her window and shooting a web out of his web slinger at the building across, 'I'll see you later,' he said, 'Okay?'

'Bye...!' she waved him off, before heading back to her bed and fishing out the watch she had jammed in between her mattress and pillow.

Parvati switched the watch on and flicked about on the screen, mimicking the exact moves that Pavitr had done on his. She was presented with a banner displaying the name Base: Earth 928: Neuva York. She had seen this earth a few weeks ago when exploring about on the watch. There was a loud sudden crash from outside coming from the crane repairing a building nearby. She jumped in shock, her finger pressing the banner by accident.

'What...? No, no... what is happening...?'

A big orange portal opened up right in front of her, sucking her slowly in. Parvati tried to grab onto the metal bars of her bed frame, but the force was too strong. She could rip off her arms in she didn't let go. Her legs soon disappeared into the orange of the portal, her body and face following in close succession.

'No! No- NO!'

All that was left of her was the wrinkles of her bedsheet, indicating where she had been sitting.
