He's such a bitch.

Location: Shangri-La

"(Y/n), death is knocking on your door, and you decide to throw yourself into a horde of zombies? You're going to get yourself killed."

The Germans voice stayed flat, though there was a bitter essence prominent in his words. His back was turned on her. He fiddled with his weapon in hand, turning and twisting it, watching the gunmetal shimmer in the basking sun.

"I was just trying to help. You were surrounded." (Y/n) commented, her gaze fixated on the German.

Richtofen was quick to bark a reply, his head perking up, but never turning to face her. "I don't need your help. Throw yourself to the zombies if that's what you want." The man turned on his heel, his face showing pure anger. "Just know, that there won't always be someone to help you."

(Y/n)'s arms fell to her sides. "I thought we were a team..." She trailed off, her voice low and quiet.

"We'll have one less team mate if you make another stupid move." Richtofen hissed.

Without a word, (Y/n) crept away. Tears brimmed her eyes, though holding them back was futile. They flooded from her eyes like waterfalls as she fought back sobs. Before disappearing from Richtofen's sight, a sob escaped her lips, making the man face her direction in concern.

'Dammit Edward!' His own thoughts scolded him. 'Why can't you just accept the fact that you needed her help? You would be dead if she didn't save you!'

"Shut up!" He screamed at the voices in his mind.

(Y/n) watched the flowing waterfall with awe. She stood knee-deep in the shimmering sky-blue water. Her shoes filled with water, but she had not a care. She trudged through the water, sometimes kicking it, watching the droplets of water fly into the air and back down again.

"What's got you so rattled up?"

A gravelly voice sounded from behind the girl, making her turn in surprise. None other than Tank Dempsey stood idly at the entrance of a darkened tunnel.

"Stupid Richtofen." (Y/n) replied with a mumble.

Dempsey breathed a laugh, soon trudging his way through the muggy water to retrieve a new weapon from the Mystery Box. (Y/n) simply stood, watching the American.

"Hey." She spoke, making Dempsey turn to face her with a questioning look.

"What's up?" He replied.

She gazed at him with a saddened face and gave a heavy sigh. Tank instantly walked towards her and placed a hand on her shoulder comfortingly.

"If I was surrounded by a shit load of zombies, would you help me?" She bluntly asked.

Dempsey's expressions went from surprised to worried. "Of course I would. What makes you ask that, girly?"

(Y/n) smiled at the nickname but it soon faltered. "Well, I cleared a horde that was closing on Richtofen and now he's being an ungrateful bitch."

Tank chuckled at her statement, rolling his eyes. "Of course."

"Where is she?!" A shrilling voice pierced the air.

Both (Y/n) and Dempsey never had a chance to face the direction of the voice, the sound of someone stomping through the water was heard. (Y/n) was then met with an angry German. Her expression held pure fear for what might happen.

Before the girl had the chance to blink, she felt a pair of warm lips smash against her very own. She recoiled with a whimper, with the sudden feeling being a shock. Richtofen had pulled away as soon as he heard the mere whimpering. The man studied (Y/n)s expressions, seeing how it almost never faltered from confusion.

"I'm sorry, (Y/n)." The German apologised. His head was bowed, avoiding eye contact as best he could.

"I'm sorry for making you cry." He added.

(Y/n) had turned to face the American, who happened to be watching with a hand covering his mouth, evidently trying to contain his laughter. The girl smiled at the man, before facing Richtofen once more.

"I accept your apology." (Y/n) spoke, with a cute smile on her face.

Edward perked up and caught a glimpse of (Y/n) smile, making him chuckle lightly. The German must have caught sight of Tank out of the corner of his eye, for he turned to face the man with a snarl.

He opened his mouth to make a remark but (Y/n) quickly shushed him by kissing him softly. Richtofen was startled but melted into the kiss nevertheless. She pulled away with a cheeky grin before cupping his face with both hands and planted minute kisses all over his face. Hearing the German giggle like a child sounded like music to (Y/n)s ears.

The sound of somebody clearing their throat brought the pair out of their daze. To see the marine leaning against the Mystery Box made Richtofen eye the man with a fierce gaze, yet (Y/n) gave a toothy smile.

Dempsey raised his hands in a playful surrender and trudged his way out of the glistening water.

Once the man was out of sight, Richtofen spoke up. "Now, pretty one, while the hordes are out of sight, how do we spend this time?" His eyes roamed her features, taking in every detail.

"Well, you can start by kissing me again." (Y/n) stated with a giggle.

"Anything for you."
