"Yes. I'd say we're pretty close since we knew each other for a long time now."

"Is that Rachel part of you guys too?" Ran was the one who asked this time.

Now, this time Zin was in loss of words. Haven't they known about Rachel yet? Well, I guess her and Khun haven't told their real motive on why they're creating a team.

Zin sighed and rubbed her nape. "You see.....well, yeah we met her on the 2nd Floor too. But...."

"Buuuuuut??????????" the two males scooted over closer to her, very curious.

In their head, they're thinking that Rachel and Zin are rivals for Khun's love. They really don't know anything about Rachel's lie and façade. If Zin or Khun find out about their real thoughts, they would have been announced dead the next day.

Looking straight in the both males' eyes, Zin gave a dark, serious, and stoic look that sent shivers down to the two's spines. Zin has never been this dark, even to her enemies. She's always composed, calm, and focused.

"You two must not tell this to anyone else, understood?"

"Yes ma'am."

'How obedient.' The girl sweatdropped. 'Maybe they could be my personal dogs.' Zin mentally slapped herself of what she thought and fought the urge to cackle.

Sighing, she began to reveal. "Rachel......."

".......killed Aguero's bestfriend."

β˜‚β˜‚β˜‚

It's already afternoon. Everyone is doing their own business and no one's bothering each other.

Khun was again in his Lighthouse, still searching for a reliable Scout and Wave Controller.

Gyetang is taking a nap.

Novick and Ran were sitting beside each other on the couch in front of the TV. Once they heard the information from Zin, they were concerned. Concerned for Khun and Zin. Imagine, being in the same roof with the person who killed your most treasured friend. (A/N: I'd probably be in jail right now if I were them.)

Although, it was clear to them that they have no enough evidence that she was the one who put Bam's life into close. The fact that she lied about her being disabled already makes them wary and pissed off of her. Ran and Novick also had a hard time dealing and taking care of her too for the past years especially during Tests. Making them treat her like a princess.

"They have a really complicated relationship." Novick deadpanned as he eyed Khun whose eyes are glued onto his Lighthouse.

The younger son of Khun only nodded and stuffed his hands in his hoodie's pockets.

Just then, Zin came down the stairs with Rachel pushing her wheelchair. She was wearing black denim shorts and red shirt with white linings on the sleeves.

"We're going out." Zin informed loudly. Khun averted his gaze from his Lighthouse and looked at Zin, giving her a questioning look. "Where are you going?" he asked.

"To the park. Rachel said she wants to go out for a bit." She answered. Khun only nodded, understanding. As Zin then pushed Rachel and exited the house.

Ran and Novick watched the scene upon them.

"Well, the three of them are good for putting up a façade. That's for sure." Novick deadpanned and sweatdropped.

On the other hand, Ran sighed deeply and leaned back on the couch. Closing his eyes. "Leave them, it's their business. Plus, it's too personal. We got nothing to do with it."

As much Novick wants to refuse, he can't help but agree. It's much better for them to handle it. Besides, Rachel killing Bam....is too cruel.

And the cruelest among them must take the burden.

Just like what Shibisu said.

The two females strolled onto the sidewalks of the park. A fountain was in the middle of this park that has a circular field. Children were running around, playing. And ice creams were being sold such as balloons too.

The bright sun high above giving them light. With the wide blue sky making it a lot more pretty to look out. Clouds that are white with different shapes and forms, made the children curious and began to guess and imagine different images in their heads.

It was a very happy and heartwarming place.

"The kids here are all so happy." Rachel commented as one kid that was sprinting just passed by them.

Zin had a different thought though. "They're all noisy. It's annoying." A frown crept up to her face.

Rachel laughed. "You don't like kids, Ms. Zin?"

"Never in my life I had liked kids. They're all annoying, especially toddlers."

"Toddlers are cute."

"Well, yeah. But all they do is eat, shit, and cry. Over and over again."

"Um....well, I could agree to that." Rachel smiled sheepishly as a sweat drip down from her forehead.

Zin's eyes wandered off the place. It was nice to be here. Especially that the 'Regulars Paparazzi' is not here as well, thankfully. For the first time in months, she's able to leave the house without any concerns.

Suddenly, a kid came crying to them. "Uuuwaaaaaahhh!!" the boy cried.

'Oh, come on.' Zin internally groaned. Why is there a freaking kid blocking their way?

Rachel on the other hand tried to reach out for the boy, patting his head. "What's wrong? Why are you crying?" she questioned, concerned as her eye furrowed.

The boy faced her and sniffed uncontrollably. "M-My friends bullied me!! Uwaaahhhh!! Huhuhuhuhu!!!" the boy cried harder at the end.

"Aww....that's sad." Rachel mumbled.

'What's sad is that my ears are about to bleed.' Zin mentally cursed to god on whyβ€”WHY?! Can't she have a nice outing without anyone bothering her? Rachel may be here that ruins everything but she doesn't really give a damn since she's all quiet.

Letting out a sigh of defeat, Zin went to approach the boy, catching Rachel's attention. "I'll handle this, Rachel. Don't tire yourself." She proposed in which Rachel complied with.

Kneeling down to match the boy's height, Zin examined his appearance. He was cute and had jolly face, sadly he's sunny face is streaming down with tears of sorrow. Probably he's about 6-7 years old. His short hair was brunette and was messy. Lightly tanned skin. His eyes were orange with a tinge of gold in them. It reminded the female with platinum locks of a certain friend she had back then.

Zin's eyes saddened.

'He looks just like Bam.....'

"Hey," Zin called blankly to the kid, who easily focused on her. "You were bullied?"

The boy nodded. "By my friends."

"How are you still calling them your 'friends' when they literally beat you up?" sarcastically, Zin asked. The kid only hung his head low, ashamed.

'Stupid kid...' Zin mocked in her head.

The boy was beaten up, well not totally. He had bruises on his arms and legs and his lips were swollen. His face is also covered with dirt as well as his clothes.

Zin sighed and took out a napkin from her pocket and began to wipe the child's face.

"I won't stop you from crying. I also won't say that everything is alright either because it's obviously not," Zin began as she wiped the boy's face. The boy only eyed her, a little astonished seeing a pretty girl before his eyes.

Clearing her throat, Zin continued. "How do you feel?"

"It hurts." The kid answered.

"Well it certainly does. Look at you all wounded." Zin eyed the boys figure as he tried to dust of some dirt from his clothes.

"No, not these boo-boos..." The boy quickly clarified, shaking his head sideways making Zin confused. "This one hurts the most." The kid pointed a finger to his chest, Zin's eyes widened.

Letting down his arm, the boy began to sniff again and cry. "I don't know why....I have so many boo-boos....I'm so dirty.....and mommy will probably get mad at me. But....." the kid trailed off as he sniffed and wiped his tears away with his palms. Only to be replaced by new tears once again.

"I think...what hurts more is that....my friends betrayed meβ€”Uwaaaahhhh!!!"

The boy began crying again making Zin close her one eye and slightly back away from him.

'Betrayed....' Memories flooded back in Zin's head. All she could do is lower her head in sadness and sympathy for the little boy. 'I know exactly what that feels like.....'

As the boy was still sobbing, Zin eyed Rachel at the corner of her eyes. Or more like, glaring at her. It's as if she's exposing Rachel and many hints of displeasure can be seen in Zin's fuming eyes. Before Rachel can notice, Zin immediately went back to the kid.

Her right palm reached to cup one of the kid's cheek. "Hey....I know...it hurts, doesn't it?" the boy only nodded in response and then suddenly hugged Zin! She was caught off guard bit soon hugged back, rubbing the kid's back and gently caressing his hair.

"But you know, kid. There will always be light in every darkness." Zin began. The boy looked up to her with curious eyes, Zin looked down to him and flashed him a soft smile. "No matter how hard it could be, no matter how painful it is, you must not give up. Show those friends of yours' what you're made of!" the platinum haired girl cheered on enthusiastically.

"But they're so many..." the boy trailed off, discouraged. "I need many more friends to stay by my sideβ€”"

"That's not true." Zin cut him off. "Sometimes, you don't many friends. Sometimes, all you need is a single friend, who will fight with you even when many are against you." She again flashed the kid another soft smile.

'Endorsi's like that...'

Suddenly, a woman from not so afar was yelling a certain name that is muffled because of their distance. It seemed like she was looking for someone.

Perking up, Zin's eyes were glued on the woman. "Is that your mom?"

She felt the boy nodded on her chest. "Mhm." He hummed in approval.

"Well then you better get going. She must be so worried about you." Looking down at the kid, Zin stood up as she held onto the kid's small hands.

"But what if mommy gets mad at me?" the boy asked anxiously. He looked like he was about to tear up again.

Zin let out a chuckle and ruffled the kid's hair. "No. Of course not. Why would she?"

"Because my clothes are dirtyβ€”"

"Just tell her the truth. Don't be scared." The female immediately encouraged. The boy looked up to her with admiration. He thought how could she be so positive and warm? It felt so nice.

Feeling glad now, the kid grinned at Zin resulting her to grin as well. "Okay! Thank you Ms. Pretty!!"

Blush crept up to Zin's face. "A-Ah...hahaha. You're a cheeky one, huh?" the female only laughed awkwardly but was touched.

The boy was about to hand over the napkin to Zin but she immediately gave it back to him. It was just a simple a blue napkin with gold linings on it, it even has her nickname 'Zin' on it. But it's fine, she has tons of those.

"Keep it. It's yours now. Just think of it as a remembrance of what happened today." She flashed him another smile.

'Although, I don't think he wants to remember this day....' Deadpanned by Zin to herself.

The boy smiled wider and nodded with a gleeful hum before dashing off to his mommy. He yelled to catch her mother's attention and she was utterly shocked to see his son's state.

Immediately running to him, the mother carried his child and hug him with gentle and care, full of tender. She looked so worried but the boy only smiled at her, and reassured her and told the truth, just like what Zin thought him. The mother only sighed and looked at her son with concern and sympathy but smiled. Reassuring him as well before walking away.

Zin who was now standing up straight, watched the scene before her eyes. It reminded her of her own childhood when her own friends betrayed her. Her own mother was the first one she went to search for comfort. She feels warm by just remembering it. How lucky of her to have such a kind mother. Makes her miss her more.

"He must've been really hurt, huh?" Rachel blurted out, making Zin turn to her.

The sky blue eyed girl nodded. "Mhm. He probably did."

"Do you somehow relate to him, Ms. Zin?" Rachel asked.

A short period of silence came from Zin before she answered. "Of course." Her voice cracked. "Hey, Rachel," she called for the blondie's attention which was successful.

The sky blue eyed girl looked up at the sky, seeking for peace and quietness. "Do you know what's the most painful thing in the world?"

"Mmmm.....a heartbreak?" the blondie answered.

The platinum haired girl shook her head as a 'no'. "It's betrayal" she corrected.

"Huh...?" Rachel wondered.

Pausing for a little bit, Zin continued. "Betrayal is something you would never expect to come. Betrayal can change a person completely. Betrayal is also a cause of heartbreak."

Closing her eyes, Zin welcomed the strong breeze that hit her face and blew her hair. Whistles of it lingered in her ears that made her feel calm.

"And the most saddest thing about betrayal....." Zin tilted her head to face Rachel with her eyes glowing. Rachel's eyes grew. Her eyes were pierced onto her, as if she was piercing to her soul.

"The most saddest thing about betrayal is that....."

"....it never comes from your enemies."

Rachel's eyes only grew wider at each word came out of Zin's lips. Was Zin too obvious? It seemed like she gave a clue to Rachel that she knows.

Zin's darkened expression instantly turned into a bright one as she flashed Rachel an endearing smile. She approached her and stood behind her wheelchair.

"Let's continue walking around." Invited Zin enthusiastically as she began to push Rachel's wheel chair once again.

Silence covered the two. Rachel had her head hung low while Zin was looking straight to where she was walking. Both didn't have the guts to utter a word after that. It was clear that Zin's words are indicating something.

Unbeknownst to the blondie, Zin's eyes lowered down to Rachel. She stared at her intensely without her knowing.

If only Zin could change the past. If only she could change destiny. Everything is probably in a good state.

~END OF CHAPTER 4~

Anyways earthlings, hear me out.

If you haven't seen what I said at my message board, I have dreamed a KhunXOC High School A.U. skdksksskkssk it's pretty dark and it's mature content lmao.

If ever, would you guys read it???

I'm planning on doing on another series but this time, each story is about different character unlike in this series.

But I want your opinion in when I write the KhunXOC High School A.U. should I create a new OC or just use Zin??? If I use Zin, my other OCs here like Von and Red will be there too and I want that happen lol.

Or maybe I should just do it an xreader? But I'll probably not do that since I have references and such.

Well yeah that's pretty much it lol this chap has a looooott of words because of this 'A/N' sorry 'bout that.

So that's all. Hope you guys would help me on this. T_T
