KHUN A.A.'S POV

15th Floor

Months have passed and we're already here in the 15th Floor. A new member was recruited, his name is Gyetang, he's a yellow bird with some shuriken hanged around his back. He's a Spear Bearer and can be a cook, he volunteered to join our team since he heard that he could meet Endorsi....and Zin if he joins us.

*SIGH!*

Just the thought makes me wanna puke. Almost every guy is whipped for Endorsi and Zin which is utterly gross. I get they have the looks and are attractive, but so what? They both have nasty personalities.

'Like you're not fond with Zin, Khun.'

"Stop, damn it" It's her fault for being so goddamn......for existing in this world!! It's her fault why I'm feeling such...weird and annoying feelings!

'Although, I won't deny that it feels good and warm and giddy and nice and...'

"I said freaking stop!!" I shouted!

'Why are you denying it? Isn't that what you feel?'

"No I don't! Are you crazy?! Why would I even fall for that girl!?" I argued.

'.....I didn't say that you fell for her...'

My cheeks flushed red. "B-But that's what you're pointing at!! What's so good about that girl?!?! She's just pretty, that's all!"

'.....You know why. You just don't want to accept it.'

"I said I don't!! Why are you against with everything I say?!"

'Because, you're acting like a total idiot! Why can't you see that you have a thing for her!?!'

"Oh, shut up!!" I argued back again.

Wait, I argued back?

My eyes widened in shock.

Reaching for my lips, I covered my mouth with my right palm with my eyes just grew wider by each seconds.

"Holy shit," I cursed.

"Am I talking to myself?!" realization hit me like truck.

I closed my eyes tightly.

"I think I need a psychiatrist....." I grumbled to myself and buried my face into my arms.

Anyways, I accepted Gyetang to be part of the team because why not? He's pretty skilled and all, besides he could help Zin with the cooking since he volunteered to be the cook for Zin's sake of course. He wanted to be close to Zin and I don't really give a damn if he does. A chick won't steal her away from me.

'That's right, be on guard—'

"I—WHAT THE HECK?!"

I squinted my eyes.

'I'm seriously going insaaaaaane!!!!!! I'm fucking talking to myself—'

"Aguero." A sudden voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

Jolting up, I stared at the culprit who is Zin. I scanned her figure. She was wearing a plain white skater skirt that's tucking in her brown long sleeve shirt that's also plain. For the shoes she's wearing brown ankle boots and also wore stockings. A certain amount of her hair that's in front of her right ear is braided with her medallion clipped on it.

'It's the hairstyle that I did when we were still in the 2nd Floor...'

"What are you staring at?" unexpectedly, she exposed me making me blush a little. Getting back to my composure, I cleared my throat and sat straight, we were in my bedroom and I was sitting on my bed with her standing in front of me. "Nothing. Why are you here?" I replied.

"We're going to the Test Area, remember? Everyone's good to go." She answered lazily.

Nodding my head, I gave her a reassurance. "Ah, I see. Let's go then." I said and stood up, flattening my shirt.

Abruptly, a hand grasped my own making me halt back and look at the culprit with furrowed eyebrows. It was Zin. "Is there a matter?" I asked.

Zin blinked her eyes in unison as her cheeks dusted a slight pink on them. She averted her gaze from me and replied bewilderedly. "A-Are you sure you're okay? You seemed like you were spacing out earlier."

Hearing this, my cheeks flushed as I remember the embarrassing....things I did earlier. 'I'm definitely going to a hospital after this.'

Shaking my head, I reassured her and patted her head lightly. I could feel her slightly tense up but soon relaxed. "Don't worry, I was just a bit sleepy."

She grumbled and yanked off my hand making me chuckle a bit. This girl must've felt the height difference between us. I smirked at the thought.

"You should take better care of yourself. Bam wouldn't like you getting sick."

"Well, yeah that's true. But you're here to take care of me anyways, right? So no biggie~" Playfully, I replied.

The sky blue eyed girl huffed. "Who'd said I'll take care of you?" she growled and stomped off, leaving my room. I only giggled.

'She's cute.'

Test Area

"Where is our opponent?" Novick asked once we entered the Test Area.

The Test Administrator sweatdropped and scratched his head sheepishly. "Uhh....well you see, the team you were supposed to compete with...."

".....forfeited."

"WHAT?!" We all exclaimed in shock! Seriously? Why could they forfeit when they haven't even taken the Test yet? How annoying.

The Test Administrator cleared his throat and straighten his body. "It seemed like they have heard about a strong Regular on your team. I think it was the 'Crystal Shooter' or something." He informed.

Our eyes immediately darted on Zin, she was frowning and I could feel like she's cursing herself for being famous. She's probably imagining strangling those Regulars to death for suddenly leaving us hanging.

".....What will we do now, A.A.?" Questioned Ran as he looked up to me from my right.

I released a sigh and again faced the Test Administrator with a fierce expression on my face. "Is there any other way for us to take a Test today? Like a Sub Test?"

"There is!" The Test Administrator exclaimed.

All of us sighed in relieve. At least we won't have to wait another month or two just to take a Test.

"I'll start explaining the Test." The Test Administrator began.

"THIS IS A RIDICULOUS TEST!" Complained Zin through our earpiece.

I only sighed in exasperation. This truly is a ridiculous Test.

We were assigned to search for 15 missing cats! What. The. Fuck.

Can't they think of something more worth to spend our time for? I know I shouldn't be complaining because this is really easy but this just strikes my pride to its very deep end making a big hole in it. Does my team look like a pest control to them?!

"Damn it. Although it seems easy, these cats are quite the troublesome." Commented by Novick through the earpiece. He has a point though, the cats are quite the rebellious ones. We can always just kill and get rid of them but the Test Administrator warned that killing them is strictly prohibited.

The reason is because this was requested by the owners of the cats and some escaped from their shed.

"They're all annoying." Ran groaned out and clicked his tongue as he scooped up one of the cats we're searching for. I saw it through my Lighthouse.

I give them the location of where the annoying cats obviously, it's quite hard without a Scout but I can manage. Besides, Rachel is here.

(A/N: Lol I forgot that Rachel's part of the Tests.)

My eyes then watched how Zin moved. She created a crystal path and rode with it as she chased for the cat. It's cringy saying 'chased for the cat' darn it. But anyways, she blocked the cat's way and created a crystal cage and caged the cat inside before dashing off.

Zin has used her crystal shinsu different these years. She creates actual objects out of crystals now unlike back at the 2nd Floor, it was really rare. It seems like she's been training, well, all of us have but her improvement is really the most outstanding. Besides, her crystals are really sparkly and pretty.

'Just like her.'

Widening my eyes, I shook my head vigorously before cupping one of my cheeks, flustered. 'You have to get it together, Khun. You might end up hurting yourself in the end.' I frowned. I'm right. It's impossible for Zin to feel the same way as me.

'Wait—I don't like her!!'

The Test has already ended and we're now back in our lodging. I sighed heavily.

*SIGH!*

All of us slumped down on the couches in the living room. It was hard because they were all annoying. Those cats were like cockroaches for some reason dang it.

A short period of silence wrapped us all until Zin broke it.

"Why don't we eat first? We still got plenty of time before we ascend to the next Floor." invited Zin.

Expectedly, Novick, Ran, and Gyetang stood up. "Yes, please." They all agreed in unison. The three of them had come to like Zin's cooking a lot, they even had the audacity to say that her cooking is better than mine. 'Tsk.' When those ingredients she used are all bought with my money.

Zin immediately nodded and took her leave towards the kitchen which the three slowly followed. I sighed in defeat first before following as well as Rachel followed me from behind, moving her wheelchair.

Putting on her apron, us four males watched Zin making her way to the counter and get out some ingredients from the fridge and began to set up. Rachel on the other hand began spacing out for I-don't-give-a-fuck reasons.

But going back to Zin, actually, she's already used to this watching her cook since everyone wanted to smell her cooking except for me, I'm just complying now because I'm kinda hungry too.

Averting my gaze from Zin who's slicing some raw pork, looks like we're getting steak. My eyes landed on Novick. Novick has become a lot closer to me and Zin. He always likes to challenge her into a fight with Ran and Zin always came out as the victor. He sometimes treats her as his child which I find okay, not really bothered by it. I can see he cares for her.

Then my eyes darted to Ran. Ran, well, he's his usual self like always but a slight different. Zin keeps on treating him like a kid as a tease and Ran would swear at her but sometimes just ignore and grumble in annoyance. Although, it's pretty obvious that he cares for her as well. One time when a bunch of 'Regulars Paparazzi' came swarming over Zin, he almost killed them all. I have never been so proud of him in my whole life because of that. Despite looking cold, he's pretty warm towards Zin and acts as if she is his older sister.

Gyetang, well he's nice too. He likes Zin and idolizes her really. Probably because he thought that Zin was cool and whatever. But of course he does care for Zin too.

No one can beat me though.

And Rachel? Well, she's Rachel.

Although, she may be putting up a façade, Zin is still somehow kind to her in some way. Probably she believes that Bam wouldn't like her harassing her or whatever when in reality she really wants to chop her head off. But she's holding herself for Bam, not to mention we still don't have enough evidence.

Looking back at Zin, she fluttered her eyes as she went closer to the stove. These past years I have known a lot from Zin but probably just some of it. She is still a mystery to me, I still couldn't forget that last examination on the Floor of Tests where we met her brother. Hatz and I, who were the ones present at their unexpected encounter, didn't confirm it from her since it seemed personal, although they looked related just by looking at their hair color, and the fact that the man was surrounded by glitters too. It's weird how they can be so shiny.

Zin has become more....childish. Which is really weird. She became a lot more playful but still has that cold and arrogant side of her, and still calm as always. I guess you could say she's beginning to break those walls she created to separate herself from others. There's this one time when us with Shibisu's team back at the 3rd Floor when we all went shopping, Endorsi made her ask a worker there to get a size of the dress she wanted. Unexpectedly, her outburst was hilarious saying that it's social interaction and said she doesn't support it! I can't help but wheeze whenever I remember that memory.

I cracked a smile absent mindedly.

Talking about Zin's childish attitude, she loves sweets, especially chocolate milk. I absolutely despise anything sweet, they're just too.....sweet. On the other hand, Zin struggles not having anything with sugar for a day. Also, she accepted everyone as friends. It felt nice to be finally accepted as a friend by her.

'But for some reason, I'm not contented just being a friend...'

Zin. Zinlester Klavis. The Klavis Family. All I know is they are known for their crystal shinsu, the special medallion, that ear piece, platinum hair, majestic appearance, glamorous aura and innocent appearance. That's all. But actually, I care more about Zin. Now, I don't care about her family, their abilities, their relationship with the 10 Great Family Leaders and Jahad, or who they are.

All I care about is Zin.

I want to know more about her....

'Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe—'

"What the hell are you grinning at like a pervert?"

Ran's sudden outburst made me blush crimson red.

My eyes sent glares of daggers to him. "I'm not a pervert!!" I argued.

He only stared at me blankly before going back into admiring Zin's cooking. Sniffing its aroma and then blushing of satisfaction. I just rolled my eyes.

'He ruined my monologue. Damn it.'

THIRD PERSON POV

Eating dinner has ended and everyone has returned to their designated rooms to sleep. They're all going to the next Floor the next morning.

However, Zin and Khun remained awake. Both of them were discussing in the dining room, they haven't left that place for 3 hours now and it's already 1am.

Khun was doing Light Bearer stuff with his Lighthouse. On the other hand, Zin was just being Zin. Spoiling herself with her beloved hot chocolate. Drinking this only made her sleepier.

"Aguerooooooo!!~" Zin whined at Khun after taking a sip of her hot chocolate. She laid her head on the table and frowned at Khun. The blue haired male just ignored the girl.

Zin who was annoyed grumbled before complaining to Khun again. "Let's go to sleep! It's already morning!"

"Then go to bed. I'm not going." Khun complied a little rude but didn't include himself.

Pouting, the platinum haired girl let out a groan of irritation. She doesn't even know why Khun doesn't want to go to bed yet. Why is this douchebag tiring himself again?

But the real question is, why is Zin even waiting for him? She will just get herself tired too.

'I just don't want Aguero to take all the burden alone....' Zin convinced herself.

Deeply sighing, the sky blue eyed girl once again sighed and sat up straight. Taking another sip of her hot chocolate.

"What are you so dedicated in that makes you want to sleep this late?" the female again complained.

Releasing a frustrated growl, the male ruffled his hair and sent daggers to the female. "I'm looking for a Scout, we don't have one yet."

"I'm also looking for a Wave Controller."

"Why would you need a Wave Controller when you have one right here?" Zin pointed a finger to herself.

"Because you're annoying as hell."

"Eh?! I'm not annoying! You just have a short temper, that's all!!" Zin retorted with a raised tone.

The son of Khun clicked his tongue and went back to work. He doesn't want to waste his time with another useless argument with Zin, it's really childish but Khun just can't help but retort back.

Zin then pouted again before her lips parted to let out a yawn. Tears formed at the corner of her eyes because of this as she covered her mouth with her left palm, her right remained on the handle of her mug.

Khun who heard her yawn got annoyed and then looked up from his Lighthouse with a smug and irritated look. "If you're sleepy just go to bed." He deadpanned.

Zin only rolled her eyes and wiped away her tears before shaking her head, refusing. "Just forget it. There's no way I'm leaving you here. You'll probably overwork yourself again and then sleep here in the dining room." She also deadpanned and took another sip of her hot chocolate.

Khun felt a little overwhelmed by her reasoning. Warm and fuzzy feeling took over him. It felt nice that Zin was worried for him. He felt like he was a very important person to her.

Cocking an eyebrow, the son of Khun eyed the girl weirdly and then grinned teasingly. "So what if I do end up sleeping here? You worried about me?~" he asked, playing with her.

Not expecting that, the daughter of Klavis choked on her drink making the son of Khun's grin widened. In which it didn't went unnoticed by her. Taking back her composure, Zin cleared her throat and settled her mug of hot chocolate on the table. Opening her eyes, she grinned back at Khun who was now puzzled.

Leaning in, the female made a counterattack. "Hmm? Yes, why? You flustered?~"

Indeed the male was flustered. His cheeks flushed pink caused by the female's unexpected counterattack. Not to mention, her face that is probably 4 inches apart from him is just making everything worse for the blue headed Khun.

But obviously, he won't back down without putting up a fight.

He only leaned closer, closing their distance from each other! Zin's eyes went wide which made Khun's grin widen again.

"Really?~ How sweet of you...."
