The drive back to their home was long, to a certain degree of course as i had a sleeping child in my lap as we slowly pulled up into the driveway. My eyes flickered to mike as he slowly looked back through the rearview mirror, before turning his body to look at Abby and me. "I car take her from you--.." I shook my head, "Its fine, i take children care classes at my high school, which is a weird choice of class, but im used to carrying children asleep or not, do you mind opening the door?" He shook his head and quickly got out of the car, opening the door for me as i slowly and carefully squint in fear of waking Abby up as i picked her sleeping body up.
I followed Mike into the house with slight caution, but i don't think i had anything to fear if he was taking care of his sister, and i doubt he would do anything to me if i was carrying his literal sister. I helped put her on her bed as he tucked her in, bringing the quilted covers up and over her body as i stepped back to move away. "There you go.." He mumbled softly, tucking her in as he stepped back, hands on hips as he sat down at the chair of her small desk.
I stood near the door, well, outside of it since i didn't want to get in the way after she was tucked in. I moved away, and slowly went into the living room where he had set some blankets out for me to lay on prior on the couch, which i set out and up.
I didn't necessarily leave his sisters room, well he did, he just didn't come out to the living room and went to his room, and shut the door. So i laid down on the couch and curled up with the blanket on me, and it was-- way fucking better than my bed at home, i mean, my parents have money, so its shocking how a couch is better than a bed.
Well, a bed they got for a discount from a grandma with a cat problem. I finally closed my eyes from the tired day, just to rest them, and accidentally fell asleep.

Me and Abby sat at the small table, me picking at the food while she easily and quickly eats it with no problem. Which, damn, she's like- tearing it apart. Mike watched her with distant eyes, something was on his mind, but my eyes flickered between the two.
But I made sure to stuff the food underneath my mask for them to not see my face, just- to be careful.
"Hey Abby, we need to um... talk about what happens last night." Mike cleared his throat, in which Abby noted, setting down her grilled cheese(?) to turn to body to give him her undivided attention. "Thank god you finally said it." I breathed a sigh on relief, making him glare at me in the corner of his eye, well not glare, but glance- like an older brothers annoyed stare.
"So those uh, those uh... machines-" "Our friends?." Abby cut in, hee eyes wide and confused, making me bite my cheek as a slight snort left me. "Yeah, our friends?" I mock, making Mike huff out and look towards me warningly. "Sorry.." I giggle underneath my breath like a child and go back to eating.
"Okay, your friends..." mikes voice held a soft tone as he spoke to his sister, "um.. are theyโ" he hesitated, but Abby answered for him. "ghosts?." "Of course, how else could they make the robots move..?" A loud snort left me. "Ooh you tell him."
"Do you have to wait outside, or in Abby's room." He looked to me, crossing his arms, which I shook my head. "Nah I'm good- I'm good."
"Can I have some more soup?" I didn't touch my soup, but I watched as bike looked towards the almost empty bowl holding his untouched serving. "Uh yeah.." Mike said, standing and going over the the actual kitchen area.
"Hey Abs, you know we used to have a brother right? Garrett." I could barley see that Mike was leaned up against the counter as he heated up what he was meant to eat,
"I don't- I don't really talk about him much." Mike stepped out and rested against the wall, so I stood and moved to the living area, knowing this wasn't my type of thing to hear, that I shouldn't hear, family problems.
But I did overhear, and I felt sad, sad about their brother, and about something having to do with a drawing she made.
Once they were done with their talk I stood up, and walked back into the kitchen. "You can have my soup Abby, I didn't touch it." I smiled to her as I picked it up and put it where she sat, making her quietly thank me with a smile as she ate it up.

"Why are we back here." I groan, trudging my feet as Abby dragged my hand with her as we got out of the car, before standing next to it. "Cause, now shh." Mike mumbled. "Vanessa's here.." Abby spoke up, staring at the police car. Oh shit, police car, "oh, yeah.." Mike answered.
"Me and Delilah's friends talk about her sometimes." Abby shrugged, "what do they say?" โ "That she's nice." She answered smartly.
"Who's Vanessa..." I quietly whisper to Mike, which he whispered back with the same energy, "Cop let who comes here sometimes, she's nice." He met my eyes and nodded, he could tell I was nervous to see a cop car and a police let alone.
"Hey you two, if I asked you to wait in the car, would you?" He asked the two of us, eyes flickering between the child and the teen, I wanted to stay in the car but I didn't want to be outside alone with a child in a easily break-in-able car.
"Nope." Abby shook her head, before tugging me along with her. But hey, it's better being with my adoptive parentsโ which, why would they adopt me if they didn't want me? Well, maybe they had to for publicity, because they didn't even disclose to the public that I was adopted, but that doesn't matter.
"Abby wait- Delilah, stop her." Well I loved to say I tried, I wish I could halt my feet but she was quiet to tug me in. "Guys I'm back." "Abbyโ" Mike groans when we get inside.
I squeeze Abby's hand without knowing when seeing Vanessa, and I grip mikes for the first time, but he doesn't let go, he just lightly squeezes back, to comfort me that it's okay.
"Hey Vanessa!" Abby let's go of my hand, leaving me with the police officer and Mike, who I slightly hid behind. "Mike." She said curtly, and by GOD, she was so pretty. "Vanessa." He said back.
The two watched Abby before she finally spotted me, her expression changing, "Who's this." Her eyes look to Mike in confusion, but furrow in concern. "Uh this is Delilah, a friend of Abby's." I peek out from behind Mike, my Bonnie mask slowly peeking out, it's either I hide or become a blubbering stammering mess.
Vanessa's expression changed to slightly anger, "Mike-" "Delilah!" That wasn't my name, but it felt like it was. "They want to say hi to you too!" Abby waved me over, and I quickly made my way to Abby, I stood next to her, and slowly looked up to the large bunny who stared down at me.
I was confused as the bunny outstretched its arms, but I- in lack of fear hugged it. "Delilah-" I heard Mikes worried tone, but Bonnie hugged back, light patting my back as if it could feel dis-ease, or well, unease and discomfort.
I could tell, when I separated, Vanessa and Mike were having a serious conversation, but Abby spoke up and waved them over, "Guys we need help." I looked confused, "What's the plan, boss?" I said in a slight joking tone, "fort." She said that before slamming a notebook with doodles of a fort on it.
"Mmm... exquisite architecture for this." I teased, and Abby pouted, "Shush..โ it needs to be big.." I look up to see the animatronics there, watching, but one was missing.
I look over to see the foxy one, standing and watching so I walk over to it, and it stared back at me, but I had an idea. When I was younger I loved Foxy, my step mother got me a foxy stuffed animal she found on sale for a few cents that was all beaten up but I loved it because it was my first ever gift, so I treasured it, like a pirate should.
I walked over to the gift/prize corner as the others moved desks and stacked them as I carefully switched my mask for a foxy one without people seeing, and made my way to foxy.
I slightly outstretched my hand to his hooked one, and curled my hand around it without care, and foxy hopped off the stage and walked with me.
"I don't wanna build a fort with them, not enough space.. you wanna race..?" I ask, looking up to the fox as it cocked its head. "Come on." I tugged on the foxs hand, and brought it to the security hallway, "So here to past where the others are, I bet I could win."
The fox snapped its animatronic like head to me, a gleam in its fake eyes somehow, and nodded, before getting into position.
I bender my foot in the right position and counted down from three before taking off, slightly cheating as I heard its loud thumping feet behind me.
Loud squeals and laughter attracted the others to see what I was doing, which it was foxy, who was obviously letting me win the race, run with me as I had the head start.
I touched the wall finally, "Yes! I won." I cheer- ignoring the grins and smiles from the other group as I high-fived foxy. "Gosh now I'm hot, we can help build now." I grin up at the fox, which was hidden behind the mask.
"You changed your mask.." Abby looked confused, "Foxy was alone, so I thought he could use some fun." I shrug, "Or I hope he was having fun." I watched as foxy and Bonnie did team work to lift a table on something, while watching as Bonnie fell back.
"Are you okay..?" Abby said worried, which prompted Bonnie to raise an arm, before giving a thumbs up, which- I didn't think he'd have opposable thumbs, but he did need them to play guitar..?

"I like it in here." Vanessa spoke up. I laid next to Bonnie and Vanessa, arms hugging myself as I started up at the ceiling. "Me too." Abby said, "Me three." I said, yawning slightly. "But I think it's going to rain soon." My eyebrows furrowed, but I think she means fake rain. "Sounds like we need a roof, I'll go see what I can find." Vanessa grinned, hee eyes flickering down to see my foxy mask, which was unnerving for her, a child, with a blank look, staring at her through a mask. She brushed it off and quickly left. "I'll come with you, Abby don't forget to ask, yeah?" Mike said before following.
"I'm gonna be right back." I stood and made my way up, and out of the fort, before walking back over to the prize corner. I took off the mask to quickly cut it in half before grabbing the Bonnie mask and searching around to find glue, which I glued the two together, giggling childishly as I made stars on the masks with the glue and put glitter on it, and fanned it for it to dry.
When it was done it was a half foxy and half Bonnie mask with little glitter doodles on the front, and I secured it to my face before going back. "Cool mask." Abby giggled, the animatronics staring at me weirdly, which was weird cause they don't have any emotion in their eye. "Thanks." I took my spot next to Bonnie once again, "you finish up your talk?" Abby nodded, letting out a small yawn.
I let my head nod off to the side, resting against Bonnie's metallic arm as if it were something blocking my head for it to fall.
I knew Bonnie was looking, but I ignored it and rested my eyes and waited for the two adults to come back.
