"Have you ever thought of getting a girlfriend Rin? Do you lack female companionship?"

Seiren glances over to her younger brother as he furrows his eyebrows. "What?" he says. "Well because you're always hanging out with guys.." she shrugs her shoulders. The two were out on the school roof top during lunch. Coincidentally, the two siblings felt like it was a nice day to admire the scenery. "I don't need a girlfriend. I'm sixteen." Rin rolls his eyes, leaning his back against the edge.

"I don't know. It'd be nice to have another girl in the house. I asked Sae but he said football is his girlfriend. He's so damn corny."

Seiren turned her head to him. "You don't like anyone?" she hums. "That girl you used to like in primary school is class president for your year. You know that, right?" her teal eyes caught the red coating the tip of his ears. "She's pretty nice. Number 2? What's her name again?" Seiren begins to say, watching her brother kick the small pebbles beneath his feet.

"Tanaka Eimi."

"Mm yeah."

Silence filled the air once more. "What're you waiting for? She probably likes you too." she mumbles, her eyes set on the field, traveling over to a certain blue eyed boy. Rin then notices her gaze, flicking her head. "Do you like Isagi?" he tries averting the topic over to her. "Changing topics are we? And yeah. He's my friend." Seiren said. "Not like that!"

"You think I like him..romantically?! We practically just met!"

"So you won't deny you'll like him in the future?!"

"Rin! Do you like the girl or not?!"

"Yes! Now do you like Isagi?!"

"Not like that! He's just really..nice— You really like her?!" Seiren stared at him with wide eyes, watching him freeze. "Wow. I guess we really don't talk anymore. Geez..how far apart did we grow." the older sibling slides herself against the concrete ledge, bringing her knees close to her chest. Rin then proceeds to copy her, sitting right next to Seiren.

"Why do you call everyone their class rank?"

Rin turns his head over to her, nudging her arm. She blew out a deep breath. "I..Well no one knows my name." Seiren says. "My team knows your name." he tried justifying. "You and Sae call me by my first name whenever you talk to me but everyone else just sees me as Itoshi. Not Seiren." she begins. "I thought it was useless to remember everyone's name..and instead thought it was better to call them their class rank so I know I'm better than them."

"Damn. You got a high ego or something?" Rin scoffs. "As if you or Sae don't." Seiren said. "I don't know. One day it just clicked. My brain stopped working. Isagi thinks he can help me. He's so..weird." Seiren fiddled with the hem of her skirt, pouting her lips. "I've sat with him at lunch for the past two days because he invited me to. Like why are you weird.."

"I think he just likes you."

"No."

"No?" Rin kept his eyes on her. "I don't want him to like me. I feel like I'd overwhelm anyone who wants to be with me. I'd self sabotage. Not that anyone likes me anyways. People think I'm a weirdo." Seiren laughs, staring back at her brother. "You're not a weirdo." Rin frowns at her. "I..think you're cool."

"The Itoshi Rin thinks his introverted, calls people by numbers, weird sister, cool? You think I'm cool?" Seiren wants to laugh harder but the look he had in his eyes reminds her of when he was younger. She looks away from him. "I'm not cool Rinnie. You and Sae are cool. Cool people are liked by everyone and aren't used by friends to get closer with their brothers." she then stands up, patting the dust off her skirt.

Is she talking about..

"I'm going back to class. I'll see you later Rin. Go talk to that girl!"

Seiren then starts to walk towards the roof's door, leaving him be. Once she was gone, he stood back up, staring at the field. "You're really cool Seiren.." he mumbles.

Isagi and Seiren were walking back to her home when they heard someone call his name.

"Isagi! Isagi! Isaaaagi! I know that's you! Don't ignore me!"

"Just keep walking.."

Bachira then jumped on Isagi's back, almost making him fall forward. Seiren stared at the two. "Hi SeiSei!" the boy smiles at her. "77." she replies. "It's Bachira! Call me Bachira!" he frowns. "Okay..Bachira." Seiren mumbles, looking off to the side. "Soooo..what are you two doing?" he asks, Isagi pushing him off.

"I'm walking her home Bachira." Isagi then glares at his friend. "Oh..! Well..Chigiri invited us to his house for a little get together! We're playing Just Dance!" the lanky boy said, poking at Isagi's arm while Seiren perked up at the mention of the game. Isagi turned to her. "You can't just say that while I'm with someone who wasn't invited!" Isagi sighs. "What? Chigiri invited her cause he knows you two were working together today.."

"Really?" both Isagi and Seiren said, glancing at each other.

"Let's go! Hope your parents don't mind if you're late SeiSei!" Bachira then grabbed both Seiren's and Isagi's hand, running with them to Chigiri's home. "Slow down!" she yelled but the boy couldn't pay any mind to her. Isagi could only laugh.

Before they knew it, she was panting, out of breath as they stood in front of the door. "Chigiri! It's me!" he says almost as loudly as he could until the door opened. "You're actually so lucky my family is out.." Chigiri muttered, glaring at the loud male before letting them in. "Hi Seiren." he smiles at her. "Hi uh..Chigiri." Seiren nods her head. Her eyes traveled around the room, it was just the players in her year.

"Yeah..it's just us. The third years think we're too lame and there's only three first years." Chigiri mentions to her as she hums. "We kinda started already so you can go after Reo and Kunigami." he gently smiles before heading over to his sofa. Isagi looks back at her. "We can partner up!" he suggested. "To what song though?"

"Gangnam Style.."

Seiren blinked slowly. "Are you serious?"

"It's uhm..my favorite one to do.."

"I..guess?"

She looked over to Kunigami and Reo dancing without a sweat, almost like this was a daily routine for them. She sat herself next to Nagi who wasn't paying attention to any of them, his eyes trained on his phone screen. "What song are you doing by yourself?" he asks, feeling her lean against him. "Gentleman..the sweat version." she mumbles under her breath. "Oh you're hypocritical." Isagi overheard, sitting next to her.

"Gangnam Style and Gentleman are two different vibes!"

"Yeah okay. Which song did Chigiri do?"

"Mr. Saxobeat."

"That one's really fun."

"Okay we're done!" Reo smile's happily, turning around to see Isagi and Seiren. "You two actually came!" he said while Kunigami said his hellos. "This seems really casual for you guys to do." Seiren mentions. "Yeah..we kinda..it's a way we can bond without wanting to rip each other's legs off.." Kunigami said, shaking his head before passing Isagi his remote. Reo doing the same to Seiren.

"I'm going to get five stars first." Isagi teased.

"You're talking to a perfectionist. Don't even go there." Seiren playfully rolls her eyes while Isagi laughs, scrolling through the songs until he hit Gangnam Style. "Why do you always pick that one?! Choose another one!" Hiori shakes his head. "I'm trying to beat the high score!" Isagi then grips the remote, looking over to Seiren as she slid her wrist through the string.

"Dude..that's your high score cause you're the only one who plays it!" Bachira yells, almost pulling his hair as he crossed his legs on the couch. "Seiren! Beat his score!" he tries encouraging the girl while she peers over to Isagi. "Just prepare to lose." was all she said before they started. Nagi pulled out his phone, taking a video of the two.

As Isagi was trying to focus, all he could see was her getting her moves perfectly. Sharp with every step she took. He was actually appalled. Reo continued to laugh at Isagi, finally happy there was someone beating him at his own game. Those four minutes ended up quicker than he thought it would and there he stood, Seiren beating his high score perfectly.

"No like actually how.." Hiori was a bit more concerned. "Uh when you're home alone in the summer and you have nothing better to do?" Seiren grimaces, shaking her head. "You..You're a monster!" Isagi laughs. "Dude there's no way you got all perfects?!" he stares back at the screen then back to her. "I'm just a loser." she shrugs. "My solo shot now." She nudges him before switching disc.

"Ready for my super cool moves?" she joked, turning to the boys as they shook their heads before booing her. "Oh die." Seiren rolls her eyes before clicking on the song. Gentleman by Psy begun to play out as she got into position. Laughter filled the room as they realized that Seiren too, took this game very seriously. Nagi begun recording her before sending clips of everyone's match to their group chat.

"Is it sad I know the original choreography?" Seiren says, swaying her hips as Chigiri immediately yelled out a yes. A chuckle escaped her lips, keeping her eyes on the screen. "No seriously. Why is she actually good at this?" Bachira frowns knowing all he got was good in his round. "I'm so happy it's just us." Kunigami said, also recording Seiren but instead he put a filter on her, making her appear as a chicken nugget. Hiori laughs at his phone.

"Uh Chigiri? You got ibuprofen?" she then turns her head at the male after she finishes her round. "Yeah. Need some?" he immediately gets up, taking her to her kitchen. "In desperation." Seiren mutters.

Safe to say Seiren had more fun in just that one night compared to the last three years.
