"The trespassing the other day was the work of these scumbags after all, huh?" Aizawa commented as he unleashed his clothed scarf. Thirteen hovered an arm in front of the class, in a defensive position.
"Huh?! Villains? No way! There's no way they could get into a hero school!" Kirishima stuttered, leading to Mayoki silently agreeing with him. Mayoki then thought of something.
"Teac--"
"Teacher, what about the trespasser sensors?"
Mayoki's eyes turned into black dots again as the vice president of their class, Yaoyorozu Momo, cut her off, asking the question that Mayoki wanted to ask. The brown-haired girl eye-glanced at Yaoyorozu, while the girl paid no attention to her.
"We have them, of course, but..." Thirteen trailed off, concerning the class even more.
"Did they only appear here, or around the whole school?" Todoroki suddenly asked, catching everyone's attention. Mayoki then closed her eyes and added to his question. "Either way, if the sensors are not responding, that means they have someone with a quirk or an electro vision that can do that." Mayoki finished, peering down at the huge crowd of villains. Her classmates look at her with wide eyes. She talks?
"An isolated area separated from the main campus during a time when a class is supposed to be here. They might be fools, but they're not dumb." Mayoki hinted at them, making Todoroki realize what she was trying to imply. "That means that this surprise attack was carefully planned with some sort of goal in mind." Todoroki finished her sentence, nodding at her.
Their entire classmates look at the two introverted teenagers in shock, with a mix of anxiousness and worry. Everyone then pondered on it. They're right. What is the villain's goal then?
"Thirteen, start the evacuation, try calling the school," Aizawa shouted out, gaining said hero's attention. "These villains even had someone to counteract the sensors. It's possible someone with radio-wave-type powers is interfering." Aizawa finished until he peered over at the Pikachu wannabe.
"Kaminari. You try contacting the school with your quirk, too." "S-Sure."
"What about you, sir? Will you fight by yourself??" Midoriya hastily spoke, obviously worried for their teacher. "With that many, even if you can erase their quirks... Eraser Head's fighting style is captured after erasing the enemy's quirk. A frontal battle is..."
"You can't be a hero with just one trick." Aizawa stared at Midoriya, sending Mayoki chills down her spine. She stood up straight and took a step forward. "Then let us help you." Everyone looked at her, some gazes were nervous, and some gazes were in agreement. "I agree with Midoriya. You cannot fight these villains on your own. With our help, you could have less stress." Mayoki added on, gaining the majority of the class.
"No. No one is going to fight." Aizawa slightly raised his tone as he stared back at the villains. Mayoki sighed, sinking into her spot. Uraraka sweatdropped at her as she placed a hand on Mayoki's left shoulder. "Well, at least you tried..."
"I'm leaving it to you, Thirteen," Aizawa spoke before jumping extremely high into the sky and plunging down right to where the beginning line of the crowd was.
The class looks worriedly at their homeroom teacher before running towards the entrance of the USJ. Mayoki stops running as she turns her head around. Midoriya was just standing there, looking at the fight. Iida, noticing Mayoki stopping, also turned around. Furrowing his eyes at Midoriya, he spoke, "This is no time for analysis! Both of you hurry up and take shelter!" Iida exclaimed as the two of them started to run.
Halfway through running, the same dark and purple fog appeared in front of them, forcing them to stop running. "I won't let you." Mayoki stared at the fog in pure shock. It can talk??
The fog on the ground then grew glowing yellow fox-like eyes, peering down at the 21 kids and one teacher.
"We are the League of Villains. It may be presumptuous of us, but we have invited ourselves into the home of the heroes, U.A. High School, in order to have All Might, the Symbol of Peace, take his last breath.
Everyone started at the fog in alarm, their bodies slightly shaking at what it just said. Mayoki looked around at her classmates. Some looked completely neutral (asui, todoroki, mayoki), some looked like they were on the verge of crying (mineta, uraraka), and some looked quite confident and less panicked (bakugo, iida, kirishima).
"I believe All Might should have been here. Has there been some kind of change? ... Well, that is neither here nor there," the dark fog spoke before tall walls of black fog slowly started to surround the class. "This is the part I am to play."
From the corner of her eye, she saw two figures leap at the fog. Panicked, with wide eyes she looked at who just jumped, and it was none other than Bakugo and Kirishima. Mayoki's mind started to race. Are they absolute idiots? You can't fight a fog!
A giant explosion erupted, causing everyone to cover their face with their arms and shut their eyes tight. Lightly coughing, Mayoki could hear Kirishima teasing the fog. "Did you consider that you'd get beaten by us before you did it?"
Next to Mayoki, both she and Midoriya opened their eyes, and then it went wide again at the same low-toned voice. "Oh dear, that's dangerous."
In the middle of the fog, what seemed to look like an iron chest plate appeared, making some of Mayoki's cogs start to move. That's definitely his weak spot.
"That's right. Even if you are students, you are excellent golden eggs."
"No! Move away, you two!" Thirteen shouted out, as one of her fingers opened up, about to aim and suck the fog up.
"My job is to scatter you all and torture you to death!" The fog yelled out before the entire class was covered in the fog.
All Mayoki could hear was the grunting and small squeaks of her other classmates, trying to ground themselves and try not fly away.
And before she knew it, she was falling out of the sky.
She slowly opened her eyes, and they immediately widened as she was about to fall onto the roof of a building. Luckily, since the portal was close to the roof's floor, she was able to land safely. She panted a little before looking at her surroundings, observing every corner and detail. She squinted at the building she was standing on. Hm. This must be the collapse zone.
Before she could further investigate, a presence immediately started to loom over her. Wasting no time, she summoned her dark red sword and bashed the person as hard as she could with the back of her sword, knocking them out flat. She looked at the figure and sighed when it was actually a villain and not another one of her classmates.
Underneath her, she could hear the sounds of explosions and shouting. Concerned, she immediately ran towards the door that lead down to the other floors. But in her way, there were clones of abnormal turtles holding baseball bats, looking at the girl menacingly. She blinked at them. Teenage mutant ninja turtles?
She blinked once again as a sharp saw was about to slash her in the head. With fast reactions, she limbo-ed over the saw and went on the ground. Using her hands to support her, she lifted her right leg and kicked the turtle in the face, sending it into the wall and then down the flight of stairs. Sorry, Leonardo.
She then stood back up as the rest of the clones started to run at her in unison. Her eyes started to glow red as she intently analyzed the clones. There are four of them.
Dodging a ninja star, beneath her shoes came out flames. She dashed and jumped onto the ceiling, somehow sticking to it. Without hesitation, she pushed herself off of the ceiling, and roundhouse kicked one of the clone's head, squishing his face onto the ground.
Behind her, she felt a harsh grip on her left ankle. Annoyed, she summoned Homura and made the flaming dragon grab him by the waist with his mouth. She dashed to the side as a knife came swinging in her direction, commanding Homura to catch the other two people with his mouth too.
Her eyes peer to the right as she could hear more footsteps running in her direction. Not wanting to use too much energy, she commanded Homura to sprint directly at the footsteps, catching them too. She looked at the now four people inside the dragon's mouth and smirked as she pointed her index and middle finger at them.
"Strike." "ๆปๆ." "Kลgeki."
Homura is sent flying toward the wall, and a big resounding explosion sounds out, making parts of the cement wall start to crack. As the firey fog dissipated, she menacingly smiled at the six people who were on the ground. Not dead, but unconscious. She then again heard more explosions and yelling beneath her, and started to run towards the sounds.
On the wall next to her, there was the word '6F' in a big and bold font, catching Mayoki's eye. She furrowed her eyebrows as she continued to sprint in the direction of the sounds. It's getting closer. I think it's coming from the third floor.
Just as Mayoki reached the third floor, the explosions and screaming stopped, making Mayoki stop dead in her tracks. Curious, she opened the stairway door to the third floor and walked through the dark and gloomy hallway, peering through each doorway that had no doors.
She was slowly able to hear the sounds of people talking to one another.
"Is this all of them? They're so weak."
"All right. Let's hurry up and go save the others!"
Mayoki's eyes widened at the familiar voices. It was coming from the door to her right, only a few meters away from it. Walking towards the door, she silently eavesdropped on the two people's conversation.
"If we're here, then everyone else should be inside USJ, too. I'm worried about the guys with less offensive ability. Besides, because we ran off ahead, we slowed Thirteen down."
Mayoki agreed with what Kirishima commented. It really was just too reckless and stupid of them.
"If Thirteen had been able to suck up that fog, then this wouldn't have happened! As men, we have to take responsibility for what we did!" Mayoki stopped walking as she was right at the doorway, her mind blank as she just processed what Kirishima just said. As men...? Mayoki's peered through the door frame, and her eyes widened.
There was something on the ceiling.
"If you want to go, then go by yourself. I'm gonna kill that warp gate."
"What? You're gonna act childish at a time like this? Besides, that guy's attacks are--"
"Shut up! That gate bastard is the enemy's way in and out. I'm gonna cut off their getaway route for when the time comes. It's not like we don't have a way to fight the fo--"
The creature had leaped towards the two males.
Bakugo reached his hand out, ready to explode the oblivious villain. But before he could do that, a flash of flames erupted from the doorway and a huge crash resounded on the wall to their left. Both males widened their eyes as they watch the figure roundhouse kick the villain onto the wall, making it unconscious.
The two males watch with their mouths open. Kirishima was the first to speak. "M-Mihara?! When did you get here??" He exclaimed as Mayoki grabbed the lizard-looking villain by the head. Turning innocently towards them. "I was always here. I was dropped off on the rooftop." Mayoki explained, taking a glance at the villain before dropping him onto the ground. "Oh, and sorry for eavesdropping."
"Ah, it's fine! Bakugo and I just finished clearing out some villains, right bro?" Kirishima turned to look at Bakugo, but then it just turned silent.
Bakugo just stared at Mayoki. His eyes were wide as he got sudden flashbacks of the battle training a few days ago. His breath hitched. Her speed...
Kirishima and Mayoki stare at Bakugo, with Kirishima slightly smiling while Mayoki just tilts her head to the side, wondering why Bakugo got so quiet.
"Were you always so calm and rational?" Kirishima brought up, dispersing the awkward tension in the air. "I thought you were more like--" A photo of Bakugo appeared in both Kirishima and Mayoki's heads with sharp teeth, hearing Bakugo yell: "Die! Die! Die!!". Mayoki lightly chuckled as Bakugo yelled at Kirishima, "I'm always calm and rational, you spiky-haired punk!" "Ah, there he is." Kirishima commented, while Mayoki walked towards the duo.
"Then go if you want to! You too!" Bakugo looked at the two of them before walking towards the doorway. "Wait, wait!" Kirishima called out after him, causing the blonde male to stop in his tracks. "Believing in our friends! That's real manly, Bakugo! I'll follow you!" Kirishima announced, leading the two of them now turning their heads toward Mayoki. Sighing, she looked back at them. "I'll also follow you. Just think of me as a backup." Mayoki commented before she walked in between Kirishima and Bakugo.
"What did you just say? A backup? I don't need any of those!" Bakugo roared back at her, leading the group out of the building. Mayoki and Kirishima just sweatdropped at Bakugo's sudden switch in behavior. This guy's mood swings are out of this world...
