Living with Tony Stark had been a dream. He taught me so much in so little time. Earth was much different from Asgard, and Tony made sure I knew every aspect about it.

Father rarely came to visit. As much as he loved Earth, he continued to stay with our people on Asgard. When he did visit, he would say hello to me, then run off with the rest of the Avengers. It was tough to get used to. Father was never the affectionate type anyways.

He hadn't come back in months. I knew nothing of what was happening with him. Tony refused to letting me take the Quinjet back to Asgard, he told me, "You're staying here until your father says otherwise."

I spent a lot of my time with Natasha Romanoff. Turns out, her and I had more than we thought in common. She also said it was nice having another girl around, as she was never really close with Agent Hill.

I as well became close with Steve Rodgers. Tony had told me stories of him, some good, some bad. I didn't really know what to think until I met him. He was kind to me, and treated me as a friend.

Pepper acted like a mother to me. She would cook me food, take me shopping, and always make sure I got into bed at a reasonable time. She was the mother I've always wished to have.

Today was a quiet day at the Tower. Steve and Nat were out on some mission with S.H.I.E.L.D. I sat upon the couch, catching up on the news. I had a microwave mac n' cheese in hand, and my fork in the other. I hummed quietly to myself, leaning back in between the crevice of the pillow and the couch.

"Morning," Tony spoke as he walked past me. I nodded to him, and turned back towards the TV. "Ew, the news? What are you, fifty?"

"Well I'm younger than you." I uttered back, facing him for just a moment. "That is in human years." He was still in his pajamas. He always wore the same thing two things to bed. It was either gray sweatpants and a Led Zeppelin shirt, or Iron Man sweats with a black t-shirt.

Today's choice was the Iron Man sweats. Tony rolled his eyes at my comment, and sat down beside me. "Have you heard from papa bear at all?" He asked me, focusing on the screen.

I frowned, and shook my head. "Nope, as usual."

Tony sighed, and patted his legs. "Let's get McDonald's." One thing about Tony, is that he's a sucker for fast food. Especially Mc.Donald's, or In and Out. He loved a good burger, and so did I.

Food on Asgard was nothing compared to food on Earth. The first time I tried tomato soup I decided of that. Holy shit, I loved tomato soup.

"Sounds good to me. Don't you have a date with Pepper tonight?" I asked him, scooping a bite of mac n' cheese into my mouth.

His jaw dropped slightly. "Thatโ€”That I do have. I need flowers. Shit!" I chuckled, and grabbed the remote to the TV, switching over to Netflix.

Tony stood up, and ran out the room. He shot me a quick wave, and I didn't see him again.

A few minutes later, Steve walked into the room. "Hey." He greeted, leaning against the wall behind him. He didn't live in the tower. He had a shitty apartment a few minutes away, but he came and visited very now and then.

"Hey. How was the mission?" I asked him, standing up and heading towards the kitchen. He sighed, and shook his head.

"Fury was keeping things from me. Nat had an entirely different mission, and he didn't even bother to tell me." Steve complained, crossing his arms and following me.

"He's Nick Fury, what do you expect?" I said with a laugh, placing my fork in the dishwasher. Steve shrugged, and leaned his forearms against the counter.

"You doing anything today?" He asked. I shook my head, and tossed my cup into the trash. "Do you wanna go to the Captain America exhibit with me? I haven't been yet, and it might be fun for you to go to a museum."

I smiled. "Sure! Give me a couple minutes to find my shoes.." I had already gotten ready this morning. I did my makeup, and brushed my teeth earlier. So I grabbed my shoes, and slid them onto my feet.

I found Steve waiting by the door, staring at a photo of a woman. Her picture was in what looked to be a pocket watch, although I wasn't quite sure. He looked up, and quickly shut it. He shoved it into his pocket, and threw a hat onto his head.

It was a short walk. Not nearly long enough to make my feet hurt. I bought us tickets with the money Tony gave me. (Which was a lot.)

The exhibit was full of people.

Captain America. The living legend, and symbol of courage.

I smiled as I read the wall, and looked over at Steve who had a small, proud, smile upon his face.

"Bucky Barnes.." I read quietly to myself, peering up at the photo of Steve's former best friend. Steve had a frown upon his face.

"He was my best pal. I miss him." Steve whispered to me. I mirrored hid frown, and looked back at the photos.

"Barnes is the only Howling Commando to give his life, in service of his country." The read-a-loud voice spoke to us. I smiled softly as I watched the video of Steve and Bucky laugh together.

I gripped Steve's arm, and pulled him away. "Let's go see if we can find Peggy? Maybe seeing her will cheer you up?" I asked him, raising my eyebrows.

He looked down at me, a smile appearing on his face. "Thanks, Y/n." Steve had talked about Peggy multiple times before, but avoided the topic most of the time.

He seemed to really love her, which made me think. Love had never been a key focus in my life. I have had crushes before, but I didn't know what love was yet. My father loved me, but didn't show it. What did it even feel like?

We continued to look around the museum, but I eventually got bored of watching every single documentary they had to show.

Steve was fine with it, he wanted the alone time. He also said something about wanting to visit someone.

I went back to the compound, and made some lunch. I talked to Jarvis a little, then Tony and Pepper before the their date.

I tried contacting my dad. I didn't get a response, like usual. I frowned, and crossed my arms, shutting off the communication device.

"Hey," Nat spoke, walking into the room. "any word from Thor?"

I shook my head, and leaned back in my chair. "No, as usual."

Nat sighed, and flipped her red hair behind her shoulder. "Don't worry. If something was wrong, we'd know by now. And don't think he loves you any less, because he does."

"You're right." I sighed. "I should get to bed."

"How about we hang out tomorrow? Just me and you." She offered, placing a hand on my shoulder. I looked over at her, and nodded.

"Yeah, sounds fun." I responded. In my mind, I didn't want to go, but decided it was best for me to do something.

"Good. Well sleep well." She spoke as she left the room.

I smiled to myself, and stood up from the chair.
My days were almost on repeat. I never had any mission, like the rest of the Avengers, so I mainly just sat around, or hung out with whomever was off.

I would wake up around eight or nine, ate breakfast, watch the news. Tony would wake up around ten, and ask for my help in his lab. I would then get lunch. Then hang out with someone. Then come home, eat dinner, and try to contact dad. It never worked. Then I would go to bed.

I wanted to have powers. I wanted to fight like Steve, Nat, Tony, or even Clint and Wanda. I never could. Tony wouldn't let me. He trained meโ€”sometimes. I begged him to make me a suit, like his. He didn't want me to get hurt.

So I just repeated every single day.
