I didn't even bother to look at her face, I knew it was Ichinose. Who else would be this kind and trouble herself in such a problematic situation?

If she gets seen here by a police officer, she would be the main suspect in this crime.

Yet she was rather worried about my hand than about the trouble this could cause.

That guy will probably be never found, he had gloves and the knife had a wooden handle, there is absolutely zero chance they will ever find him.

"Suou-kun, what happened?" She said in a calm voice. She wasn't calm at all but still tried to calm herself down after seeing the whole asphalt with blood.

"Someone was trying to...rob me? I told him I wouldn't give him anything, and he pulled a knife and wanted to stab me in the neck. Of course, out of reflex, I rammed my palm right into his knife. And now we are here."

It may seem crazy what I just said, but trust me. Anyone would have tried to do the same out of reflex. Our brain instantly thinks about protecting the crucial parts with not-so-crucial ones.

It's an instinct.

Suddenly, paramedics arrived, Ichinose explained to one of those paramedics what happened and the guy right in front of me just went ahead and took my hand.

"Sir, do you feel high amounts of pain?"

"No. Just a bit weird because of the blood loss."

I talked to him, while he transported me with his buddy to the ambulance car.

Ichinose just waved at me, she had a forced smile on and was forced to leave the scene.

In the car, we didn't drive anywhere, but they decided to fix me in the car Itself, probably because the knife was outside already.

[S/N: I never got stabbed, so this is probably not something a paramedic or a doctor would ever do. Don't ask me what I was thinking. This chapter is prewritten and after I checked it, I got confused a little.]

"Sir, we need you to stay perfectly calm and think about something amazing, or beautiful. If you need to, think about weird stuff, just make sure to try and ignore what was going on."

One of those guys said they were sewing my wound and well, it just felt like a fire was taking place on my palm.

Just like a wizard from Clash of Clans. I think it was yesterday or so when the Townhall 16 update was announced, and in my opinion, it could've been better.

I don't know what took them almost 1 year and a half to develop, but this is insanely disappointing to me. It's like they just recycled the Townhall 15 update and didn't bother to even successfully plan it through.

Instead of the townhall weapon having five levels, it has only one. This could probably mean, that this could be the end of the game, the game is just so far advanced that it's hard to add new stuff to the game.

Like I am not surprised that every single thing they developed in the update was already in the game files months ago. But I don't mind. I love the game more than my friends.

So in the end, it's just a chill update without any brutal permanent changes to the game. Except for the sneak peaks will introduce something insanely weird.

"Sir, what we need you to do now, is to just report this case to the police, of course, we cannot force you, but please do so for your well-being. Visit the hospital in two days, we will look at the wound again, I assume it will improve a lot by then. Are you able to walk home safely from now on?"

He raised a question, putting bandages over the sewed wound.

"I am fine. Thank you a lot. I owe you three something."

"No need sir. That's our job."

With that, all three of them waved me off with a smile and I left the ambulance car.

I think I would need to properly thank them one day for saving me from a worse situation. It could've ended worse than expected. At least nothing terrible happened in the end. But well, this was scary.

However, nothing was going on currently. Nobody around huh?

I turned in another direction and saw a bench.

And somebody was waiting for me.

And no, it was not that guy who stabbed me. It was Ichinose waiting patiently.

"What are you doing here, Ichinose?"

"I-I wanted to make sure you are fine. I wanted to message your sister about this, but it would just cause panic, so I couldn't stand it and went on to wait here until they were done."

"Ah. May I sit here?" I asked, despite not even getting an answer to that, I just sat down next to her.

She was quiet, I could tell she was still speechless about what just happened. Everything just went so quickly, one second I talked with Tsukishiro, the other I got stabbed, and one second after, I got treated and now I am here.

"See, I am sorry that you had to see that earlier. I mean, it could be pretty traumatizing. To keep that a thing between you and me, I want you to keep quiet about it. Don't tell anybody that you saw it or that you helped me."

"...Why shouldn't I? I am not traumatized...Just a little shocked about how quickly something like that happened. First, you two were talking, and then he stabbed you. That surely did teach me something."

If you see it that way, she perfectly described what was going on. It was just too quick to follow, even though I didn't see through it perfectly. y

"That's right, Ichinose. That's why you should never try and find out why this area is so less populated. It's so empty for a reason. Well, curiosity caught me there, not gonna lie. Please don't tell anybody for a simple reason, I just don't want it. That's all."

Catching that guy is useless even if we did. I wouldn't let him get expelled, after all, I could use him then as a passive money source, which means he would rob people and send a percentage of their money to me.

Of course, I would never do such a horrible thing. I couldn't even imagine myself being a financial superpower in this school with that income...

No. Not at all...

"Alright...Suou-kun. Weren't you going somewhere earlier?"

"Not that I remember. Ah well, I guess I would need some time alone, I will head back to my room. Ichinose."

"Yes?"

"I will invite you for anything you want this month. You saved me from a far worse condition. I owe you one."

"First, let it heal out, and then you can continue to ask for a date." She giggled and waved at me, bidding farewell for the rest of the day and well, I still have a feeling that I forgot something...

But...What could it have been? It's 4 p.m. anyway, there is no chance that it was so important. After all, if it was important, I would have gotten notifications at least 60 times on my phone.

Or someone would have called me already. Means it wasn't that important.

A/N Jup, this was a short chapter, and I am back at resuming SoL. (Slice of Life)

Some chill chapters ahead until the next special exam, also, I would like to share some information with you regarding this story.

The story HAS some stuff that is gorey or sexual. So naturally, I should mark it as NSFW or as Adult Content. However, because y'all know how Wattpad works, that won't happen.

This story will not get marked for a simple reason: If it suddenly were to be adult content, fewer people would've recommended this book.

Regarding the plot, yeah, I rarely talk about the actual plot...

This talk with Tsukishiro isn't what you like to think of it. What I have prepared is a long time until something regarding white roomers happens.

Means, you can chill out. It takes some time, and the next chapter is a calmer one.

a chapter split in two (As an example: 18 and 18.5)

Or just one long chapter, with no plot changes at all (basically just combining those two chapters into a longer one, no addition in words, plotwise.)?
