โ”โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€Wakasa pursed his lips. The walk towards the coffee shop is filled with nothing but silence between them. He could hear the little girl's light steps behind him but everything he glanced behind, he would only see her with her head bow down like there was something magical plastered on the ground.

The white haired couldn't help but sigh. Is he really that scary? Last time he check, he look fabulous!

"We're here." Wakasa lazily announced, setting his hand at the top of the little girl's head. He saw her flinch but he didn't remove his hand at all. Without any change in his expression, he stood at the side and opened the door, "Come on in."

The waiter inside who's standing at the side couldn't help but show a stiff smile, his mouth twitching when they heard Wakasa's tone. 'What is this, your house? Why do you sound like you're inviting a guest in?'

But instead of saying that, the waiter face revealed a smile. "Welcome!" The waiter's gaze then fell into (Y/n), the little girl following behind this overbearing white haired boy, and the smile from the waiter became so wide and genuine. It's like the previous thoughts didn't exist at all.

(Y/n) glance nervously inside before wordlessly stepping inside. Wakasa followed suit, closing the glass door before looking at the waiter who's looking at (Y/n) with adoring eyes.

"Ah, welcome to our cafe! Would you like to seat on the first floor or on the second floor?" The waiter asked amiably with a very friendly smile.

'What?' Wakasa couldn't help but show a confused expression. He glanced at the waiter then at the little girl. 'What kind of discrimination is this? When I came here last time they didn't even let me choose my seat!'

The white haired click his tongue and look down at (Y/n), "Hey, where do you wanna sit?"

Looking up at him, (Y/n), met those pair of lazy eyes. Blinking nervously, she quickly looked away and muttered her answer. "Anything... Anything's fine."

'How adorable!' The waiter was adoring her on the sidelines while Wakasa raised an eyebrow at her answer. He then looked at the waiter.

"We're taking a seat on the second floor." Wakasa said. The waiter nodded and immediately became serious when faced with Wakasa's bored face.

'This guy looks like he can punch the life outta me! So scary!' The waiter cried out inside their mind and immediately led the two on the second floor, giving them a six-seat table near the window since there were not so many people in the shop. It's already nearing the evening, after all.

The waiter is also the one who handed both of them the menu, before leaving to attend to the other few customers.

Wakasa directly picked up the menu and opened it. (Y/n) could see how his eyes lit up with unhidden delight upon seeing the tons of dessert that this shop has to offer.

"What do you want?" Wakasa asked, glancing up at the little girl. Then he noticed that she didn't pick up the menu in front of her and immediately he frowned, not letting the little girl answer his question as he said. "Don't answer me with 'I'm fine with anything.' go get the damn menu and pick what you like, my treat."

His warnings sounded so bored but it has its intimidating tendencies. Wakasa was surprised when he saw the little girl froze. She even opened her mouth but was unable to say something. Wakasa thought that he was so harsh and cursed himself internally. When he's about to coax (Y/n), or 'try' to coax her however, he saw the girl picked up the menu and open it with elegance.

With fucking elegance. Wakasa thought it was so unusual. The little girl's actions are so unhurried and she doesn't look afraid anymore. In fact, her eyes seem to change all of a sudden, like she's finally a bit comfortable.

'I'm sorry...what?' Wakasa tried to come up with answers why the aura changed, and all he could come up with is his harsh words earlier.

Blinking, Wakasa decided to test the waters. He cleared his throat and softened his voice a bit. "So, find anything you like?"

Just like he expected, the little girl stiffened and became a bit nervous, making Wakasa frown.

'What the hell?'

"Tsk." Wakasa thought he would finally figure it out. In his mind, soft approaches are trash when it comes to (Y/n) and she obviously feel more comfortable when spoken with a commanding tone.

"Quickly choose your order." Wakasa said bluntly, his eyes, however, showed a completely different expression. There's a bit of doting and pity. Pity because he wondered what kind of experience this little kid suffered to have this eccentric condition of feeling comfortable under intimation.

Hearing the bluntness, which comes off naturally from Wakasa, the little girl nodded and pointed at the vanilla ice cream and a slice of vanilla strawberry cake.

"Woah, so you really like Vanilla." Wakasa called the waiter and handed their order before turning to the little girl. He couldn't help but smile when he saw her looking out the window, gazing silently outside.

"So, how old are you?"

"I'm seven."

"Seven?" Wakasa raises an eyebrow and looks at the kid up and down, "You're rather small given your age." Then he leaned closer, "Tell me, are you lost? Even though Shinichiro said he found you in an Alley, he never said you were lost. We can send you home if you know the way."

Little (Y/n) fell silent for a while, looking at him. Wakasa fell silent too after being stared at. The little girl's eyes really look like Shinichiro. The color may be different (or the same) but it has that same soulless gaze that looks so perfectly identical to his friend that Wakasa couldn't help but think that perhaps you're Shinichiro's relative. But Shinichiro himself said otherwise.

"I don't wanna go home." The little girl unexpectedly said, looking scared and nervous. This time, Wakasa nodded.

'Alright. A family problem.' He thought.

"Did you run away home?"

The little girl shook her head but paused, then she nodded. Just when Wakasa thought she ran away home because of some kind of drama, which he assumed is the usual parents fight alot or something, the little girl said something that made him freeze.

"Some guys with guns came, and they shot my dad....Dad told me to run."
