FAYE SAT IN THE PASSENGER SIDE of matt's car, as tate mcrae played lowly through the speakers as they talked about random things.

it had became frequent for them to just hangout and talk, and they enjoyed it as well. matt still couldn't convince himself that he's in love with her, so he still acted the same way around her. kind of. he's definitely softened up because of her.

"baby names?" faye said as she sat with her back against the door, her feet in the seat with her knees to her chest. she had on a pink hoodie, a pair of comfortable matching sweatpants and no makeup. she's comfortable around him, so she doesn't care about makeup or all of that.

"not LaKing or LaMeloette." matt said, chuckling as he ran his hand down his face, looking over at her. just by the way he looked at her, you could tell he was the only one who still believed he didn't love her. nobody else was buying it. not even faye.

"why not? that's perfect," faye said, smiling as she looked at him. he had his head leaned on his seat, as he shook his head with a giggle.

"dead serious," matt said, his hand resting on her knee as he thought about names. "something cool. like michael. like myres."

"you're such an idiot, bro." faye said, giggling as she shook her head. "no. if i birth a baby, i'm not naming it michael."

"i should have a say in it since it's my baby," matt said, shrugging.

"you're saying that like i'm actually having a baby. this is hypothetical," faye reminded him, rolling her eyes. "no way i'd get pregnant at my ripe age of 18. i'm in my prime currently, no baby's gonna ruin it."

"yeah, so we gotta be responsible." matt said, looking at her as he spoke.

"mhm. not that we aren't," faye said, nodding. "a lot more responsible than noah and cici."

"what songs do you want played at your wedding?" matt asked, raising an eyebrow. they had the most random conversations all the time, and most of them were about their future.

"video games by lana of course. and probably number nine by youngboy," faye said, nodding as she looked at matt.

"valid," matt nodded, looking at her. his eyes trailed all over her, just admiring her as he listened to her talk. he could definitely do that for hours. "i want like, look after you by the fray."

"that's a good one," faye nodded, looking at the roof of the car as she thought of one. "love looks pretty on you by my baby of course."

"does ness not care that you and josh are friends?" matt asked, looking out the front windsheild.

"nah. she doesn't even count him as a relationship, which is so sad because i loved them. honestly, jessa over naden." faye said, sighing.

"oh yeah, youngboy gets out in like july." matt said, looking over at her. he knew her favorite things and people by heart.

"i know. already googled it," faye said, looking at him with a smile. "he looks so different. have you seen him?"

"i seen a picture," matt nodded, his hands on the wheel as he leaned back.

faye stayed quiet for a minute, just looking at him as he looked ahead. she's always found him attractive, obviously, but it's a different attraction for her.

the longer she stared, the more she began to believe she was genuinely falling for him.
