It was a warm summer night in Tulsa, the stars shining bright in the nightime sky,and the sound of laughter and conversation filled the air of the annual fair that was being held.

"10 cents please" you said unamused at the young boy in front of you who quickly put his 10 cents in the jar.

"Marcia,spin the wheel" you ordered the one soc on your right,who listened to your demand.

The wheel was lined with numbers from one to three. You,Marcia,and Cherry each had a big pin with a number on it,pinned to your skirts.
You weren't friends with cherry or Marcia since they were socs and you were middle class but you got along just because neither of you were into drama.

"You get to kiss y/n" Marcia stated as the number lands on two making the boy's face light up. You rolled your eyes and took the piece of bubblegum out of your mouth holding it in your right hand,between your index finger and thumb as you leaned forward to peck the boy's lips.

You quickly pulled away as the boy tried being slick and add his tongue into the mix.

"Hey watch the tongue!" You exclaimed making the kid laugh and run away. Marcia and Cherry got a kick out of it too as you put the gum back in your mouth.

A few feet away stood ponyboy and Dallas watching the action at the kissing booth

"So which one of the chicks did you say was cute?" Dallas asked nudging ponyboy who couldn't keep his eyes off you.

"The middle one,y/n y/l/n" pony smirked and pointed at you

"Why don't you go over there and put ten cents in,maybe you'll get to kiss her"

"I don't know dal what if I end up having to kiss Marcia or Cherry?" Ponyboy asked hesitant of going over to the booth

"You'll just have to suck it up and put another ten cents in"

"I don't have another ten cents though"

"Just go over there" dally shoved ponyboy in the direction of the booth making him almost trip and make an embarrassment out of himself in front of you,pony just glared at dallas who was chuckling to himself.

"Oh hey ponyboy" you smiled at the cute but blushing boy that was around the same age as you.

"H-hi y/n" ponyboy stuttered nervously making you giggle at his nervousness before he finally put his ten cents in. Marcia spun the wheel again and ponyboy's eyes never left it,hoping that it would land on the number two.

His face dropped when it landed on number one,which meant he had to kiss Marcia.

"You won me" Marcia blushed as she leaned over the table in front of you all,her lips puckered and waiting for pony's. He leaned in and pecked her lips.

You couldn't help but feel jealousy run through your veins,since you also had a crush on the shy brunette.

"Thank you ponyboy,that went to a good cause" Marcia fiddled with her hands nervously. Ponyboy nodded and turned around,awkwardly walking back over to dallas who was laughing at him

"That wasn't funny dal,it was embarrassing,and now I don't have anymore dimes" Pony said annoyed

"Yeah yeah whatever, I'm gonna go over there and hopefully it will land on three" dallas smirked as he looked at Cherry who had her arms folded across her chest.

"You like Cherry Valens?!" Pony asked in shock.

"Yeah now watch and see how a professional does it" Dallas walked over to the booth, a smug smirk on his face.

"Aren't you a bunch of fine looking ladies?" Dallas flirted making Cherry roll her eyes unimpressed.

"If you just came here to try and get into our pants you can leave right now" Cherry stated firmly making Dallas roll his eyes and put in his dime. Cherry spun the wheel this time and it landed on number two.

"Well well miss y/l/n,I get to kiss those sweet lips huh?" You nodded and took your gum out again before Dally placed his lips on yours in a slow but passionate kiss that obviously lasted longer than three seconds

You pulled away and bit your bottom lip as Dallas licked his lips and winked at Cherry who just scoffed.

Dallas walked over to Ponyboy who was even more annoyed then he was before

"That was more than a three second kiss. And i told you I liked y/n and you still kissed her!" Ponyboy exclaimed which made dallas cover Ponyboy's mouth with his hand since pony was making people stare at them both with raised eyebrows and concerned looks.

"Shut up will ya? Your making people look at us like were looneys" Dally removed his hand from a infuriated Ponyboy.

"Now listen to me,i like Cherry not Y/n and it's not my fault that the wheel landed on two okay? Now here's some dimes,go try your luck again"  Dallas urged again

Pony rolled his eyes but took the dimes gratefully and went back over to the booth

"Pony? what are you doing here again?" You asked as pony put his dime in the jar again

"I wanna another try" he simply said making you nod as Marcia spun the wheel. Pony's face lit up as the wheel landed on number two

"Well you get to kiss m-" your cut off by Pony's eager lips on yours. You wrapped your arms around his neck as the kiss deepened with passion.

You pulled away breathlessly,a crimson red blush covering your face.

"Sorry Y/n.... but do you wanna..... go on some rides together?" Ponyboy asked shyly as he looked down

"I'd love too" you smiled and took the number two pin off your skirt as you hopped over the table,interlocking hands with ponyboy as you both made your way over to the beautifully lit Ferris wheel.
