You sat in your room,trying your best to avoid Steve Randle your enemy and crush. You hated the fact that whenever the gang got together steve was there,but at the same time you loved it since you got to see his face.

"Y/n get out here its rude to avoid company!" Darry,your older brother yelled from the living room

"No way!" You shouted back as you fell on your bed dramatically

Then you heard heavy footsteps coming closer to your room making you sit up and turn your attention to the door that swung open.

"Dally what do you want?" You groaned in annoyance.

Dally chuckled before picking you up and throwing you over his shoulder making you squeal

"Put me down you jerk!"

"No can do sweets,your brother wants you out here" dally placed you down softly,beside your younger brother ponyboy on the couch.

You huffed and folded your arms making pony laugh

"Its not funny,he forced me out here against my will" you said making the others laugh

"Why didn't you wanna come out here y/n? Are we not your friends anymore?" Soda asked jokingly as he finished his arm wrestling with Steve

"No...your all my friends except steve"

"Oh that's right I forgot,you don't like me cause I tripped you into a pile of mud" steve laughed

"Shut up steve" you watched steve come over to you with a smug smirk on his face,as he leaned down to your level

"Make me"

The room filled with 'oos' coming from everyone except your brother who just shook his head and left the room.

You blushed as you made eye contact with steve who still had the stupid smirk on his face which made you swoon even more

"Hey your making her blush!" Two-bit laughed as he took a swig out of his beer.

You bit your lip nervously,the blush on your face getting brighter and brighter. Finally you looked away making steve chuckle.

"See that's why she didn't wanna come out here" steve and rest of the gang laughed while you just buried your face into pony's arm.

2 weeks later

You sat at the small wooden desk in the corner of your room as you wrote about steve in your diary instead of doing the homework that was piling up.

Dear diary, it's going on to two weeks since steve stared me down and I know he was just trying to intimidate me but it made me fall in love with him even more. At the beginning I thought it was a phase that I would be over within a week...but I've liked him for two years now and I wanna tell him so bad but I know he doesn't feel the same way and he'll probably just end up making fun of me even more then he already does. I just know I'll feel even more defenseless if I told him, why is being in love with your enemy so hard.

I guess thats all I have to say for tonight,until tomorrow

Your eyes began to feel heavy and within a few minutes you were sound asleep with your head on the open diary.

The next day

You awoke from the bright light shining through the thin curtains that hung above the window. You forgot about your open diary as you slipped on a pair of jean's and white t-shirt,preparing yourself to face the gang that you already heard laughing and goofing around in the living room.

You didn't bother closing the door to your bedroom,cause you knew the gang wouldn't go in there right?

"Morning jerks" you said as you walked through the living room and into the kitchen,planning to get something to eat.

Once you got into the kitchen you decided on y/f/f,you just stood in the kitchen as you ate the y/f/f,letting yourself get lost in fantasies about steve.

Just then you heard an eruption of laughter making you snap back to reality as you finished the fruit you were eating and grabbed a glass of water.

You didn't think much of their laughter until you heard 'dear diary'

That's when you quickly ran out into the living room with your cold beverage in hand,and stopped in your tracks once you saw Dally and steve reading your diary

The feeling of embarrassment washed over you making your face heat up and hot tears edge the corners of your eyes

"I know he was trying to intimidate me but it just made me fall in love with him even more" dally reads laughing in between words.

"Hey give me that!" You exclaimed jumping up to try and get the diary but Dally held it over your head.

"Did you fall deeper in love with me huh y/n?" Steve teases in a baby voice,that's when your throw your drink at his face and run out of the house.

You run down the street going nowhere in particular,that's when you hear footsteps behind you and someone you would've never expected calling your name

"Leave me alone steve!" You shout trying to run faster but steve caught up with you and wrapped his arms around your waist making you abruptly stop.

"Get your hands off me!" You snapped as you struggled to unwrap his arms.

"No not until you listen to me" steve replied softly making you stop and turn around in his arms to face him.

"Fine.... what do you have to say?"

"I'm sorry" Steve looked at your lips before pressing his against your very own.

At first you were taken back but then you placed your hand on the back of his neck and pressed his lips into yours harder,encouraging him to keep kissing you.

He picked you up and automatically you wrapped your legs around his waist, you moved your hands to cup his face as the sweet kiss turned into a steamy french kiss.

"What are you two do-" sodapops voice rang throughout the empty park that you guys ended up in, but soda was cut off once he saw the sight a few feet from him.

Steve and you pulled away from the kiss quickly and steve put you back down on the ground

"Hey what are you doing with my sister?!" Soda stalked towards us,getting ready to beat the life out of steve but you quickly stopped it.

"He wasn't doing anything, we were just....kissing not a big deal so don't tell darry" you blushed

Soda looked at steve then me before cracking a smile

"Alright" soda started walking away leaving steve and I alone again

"Listen i love you too y/n"

"Wait what?" You asked shocked

"I love you too,now don't make me kiss you again to get my point through"

"What?" You purposely pretended to not here what he said again just so he would kiss you.

Just as steve leaned in to kiss you, you whispered "I've loved you forever"
