It was going onto a week since River had stormed out of the house, due to a big argument that you two had. It was over something stupid, but it still had put stress on you. Which was the thing you needed when you were pregnant, and due any day now.

Since you had been stressed so much, you had been having long naps during the day, until today when you were awoken by some sharp pain in your stomach.

You pushed it aside, when you heard knocking on the front door downstairs, and decided to go answer the door. You had to take you time down the steps, and all throughout the house until you reached the door.

Swinging it open, you noticed it was River. He held a look of guilt and extreme sadness all acrossed his face, when you shot him a pissed expression.

"Listen, Y/n, I am so sorry for running out like that. It was irresponsible, and I-I didn't know what to do, and I'm just sorry. Please forgive me" River pleaded, tears pricking the corner of his ocean blue eyes.

Your expression ended up softening, and you stepped aside to let him back into the house.

"I forgive y-" you were cut off by the large amount of water trickling down your leg, making you realize that your water had broke.

"Riv, I-I think the baby's coming" you stuttered, before suddenly fainting due to all the stress and everything that was unfolding.

"Mrs, Phoenix, Mrs Phoenix" you heard the faint voice of a friendly nurse call out, which made your eyes widen as you sat up immediately.

"Mrs. Phoenix, please take it easy, your baby is with Mr. Phoenix" she explained, slightly pushing you back down onto the bed.

"What happened?" You asked, completely confused about everything that had happened.

"Well, you had fainted due to a large amount of stress. Your husband had you rushed to the hospital, and even insisted on helping us deliver the baby" She informed, a friendly smile on her face.

"Did you let him help?" You wondered

"Of course. Would you like to see him and your child now?"

You nodded fast, feeling giddy about seeing the child, that you had been carrying for 9 months.

The nurse walked off, and you were left alone in the room, until River stepped, the baby in bundled up in his arms.

"Hey, are you okay?" River wondered, quietly, before laying next to you on the bed.

"Yeah I'm fine, just a little dazed" you smiled.

"Oh, is this okay if I lay here?"

"Of course" you managed to laugh a bit,  which made River smile wider than you had ever seen him smile, as he carefully handed his and yours' baby boy.

"H-he's beautiful" you gasped, looking at your son's facial features that looked exactly like River's.

You were beyond thrilled that you and River were a completed family, which made you peck River's lips, and peck the baby's forehead.

"I love you, River" you smiled.

I love you too, Mrs Phoenix" River grinned.
