HIS POV:

We all stood by the station where the bus would come and pick us up. Takahashi and Tadashi were chatting with each other on the side while it was just me and [ LN ]. She was leaning against the wall by her side with her eyes close.

"Didn't get enough sleep?" She nodded her head gently and sighed.

"I was up finishing up my current read that I completely forgot to sleep, only having 3 hours of sleep" She softly groaned as she slightly banged her head against the wall she was leaning against.

"What was the book about?" She finally opened her eyes and looked at me with a skeptical look.

"It's really...long to explain" Pausing in the middle of her sentence to find the right word to describe the book, I gave her a droned expression.

"And we have a long time for the bus, just tell me" I lightly mocked her words while striding towards her. I stood right in front of her before nodding my head towards the seats, she looked at where I was nodding before smiling and giving me a nod in return. We both sat at the seats as she tucked her legs under her so that she sat crisscrossed and turned her whole body towards me. I turned my body towards her and put my arm on the chair I sat in and put my leg on my other.

"Okay, so it started with a senior girl who used her school's project as an excuse to solve a murder..."

She put both her hands down as she finished telling me the book she had read and stared at me for my reaction.

"...Tragic" Was the only word I could say. It was tragic, should've called the book 'Tragic'.

"I know, right? The dog got me bawling my eyes out!" She wiped an imaginary tear off her face before looking at her phone.

"It's been twenty minutes, what is taking the bus so long?" Just as she said it, the bus started making clear our vision.

"Oh, guys! The bus is coming!" Tadashi started making his way toward us with Takahashi following him. Me and [ LN ] stood up from our seats and stand with the others as we waited for the bus.

"Takahashi, let's sit next to each other so you can finish telling me about that story!" Takahashi just nodded her head with a thumbs up before conserving with [ LN ].

"Takahashi was also telling you about a book?" Tadashi turned towards me with a smile and a nod.

"Mhm! I'm guessing [ LN ] was telling you about a story too?" I only nodded and turned my body forwards as the bus stopped before us.

"Takahashi's book was 'Crash', How about you, Tsukki?" I grimace at the title of the book. It was the first book that I saw [ LN ] read. Now thinking about it, It would be a book that Takahashi would read.

I glance at the girls who went on the bus first, I turned around towards Tadashi.

"'A good girl's guide to murder' " Tadashi only nodded his head as he went to sit next to Takahashi who took the seat next to the window.

"Tsukishima, want to seat with me?"

I gave [ LN ] the seat next to the window, even though I prefer the window seat and she even tried to give it to me, I simply gave it to her because I'm nice to her.

Not because when she would look out the window and see something interesting, she would grab my arm and put my attention towards said interesting.

"Tsukishima! Look at the flowers! So pretty!"

And certainly not when the window in front of us is open slightly and the wind would push her hair on her face, making her tuck the hair behind her ear making me see her very displeased face.

"Stop laughing, Tsukishima! You're lucky to not have hair in your mouth"

And don't get me started when her eyes would dart from one thing to another outside the window, dazedly. She holds nothing but peace and comfort. It was like she was made with gentleness and calmness and was breathing them out to surround herself.

I didn't give up my favourite seat just so I could look at her — but I'm glad I did. Because then I would never get to experience this. This feeling she drowns me in. I know when I look back to this moment, my memory has no choice but to remind me how she makes me feel.

calm

gentle

peace

comfort

She is made of the soft things the universes didn't dare to separate.

She makes me feel soft.

"Hurray! We're here guys!" Getting off the bus first, Takahashi ran off to the beach as the rest of us were just getting off the steps.

"Takahashi! That's not the way towards the pier!" Tadashi ran off after her as he figure that she couldn't hear him. I looked off towards the pier to see that there were many people on the pier and guessed that's where the book hunt is being held.

"Thank you for the ride, have a nice day and drive safely!" Turning around to see [ LN ] waving off the bus driver who was waving back, she walked beside me and looked off where I was previously looking.

"Looks like there's a good amount of groups there, we should hurry up" Looking off towards the direction Tadashi and Takahashi went, she started looking around for them before looking at me.

"Guess we have to go without, let's find a spot for us and wait for them to catch up" I nodded in an agreement and we both walked up to the painting session and took a spot.

"Now we wait for them" I took a sit on the chair the book hunt assistants had put out.

"Now we wait" She echo my words as she was taking a look at the supplies that were put in front of her.

"Holy! You guys are wet!" [ LN ] stood in front of the two who looked like they came back from a water fight, maybe they did.

"You guys can't look like that in front of people, you two need to change" I shook my head in disapproval. I would've thought Takahashi would pull this but not Tadashi.

"I can't believe you pull Yamaguchi with your trouble!" [ LN ] dragged Takahashi towards the small store, leaving both me and Yamaguchi.

"Great minds think alike" Following the two girls, Tadashi speedily turned toward me.

"It wasn't her fault, We both just got carried away" He looked away shamefully as I shrugged my shoulders.

"Wouldn't have happened if she didn't run away with you chasing her" We both kept quiet until Yamaguchi mumble out some words and speed walking towards the doors of the store.

"Don't blame her"

"There, that should do it" [ LN ] nodded her head in approval before walking off.

"Nice" I put up a thumbs up and walked off with her.

"Takahashi! Why are you wearing the same shirt as I am!?" Hearing Tadashi yell, I lightly chuckle to imagine him being flustered about matching with the girl.

"I didn't like what the women's section had, so I went to the men" Hearing Takahashi's voice a lot closer, I could tell that they started walking.

"At least we match, Yamaguchi! We look super cute!"

"Us, together, CUTE?" A light chuckle came right beside me, I turned towards [ LN ] who had made the sound. I let out a small smile before forcing it down once she made eye contact with me.

She makes me feel soft. But I won't let her know just yet.
