The man sipped his tea calmly even though his mind was going through a lot. He stared at his son standing in front of the table and going through his files.

The glasses were falling to the tip of his nose as he looked down, focused on the content within those papers.

Clearing his throat, he successfully grabbed the young man's attention, who glanced at him before settling across him on the couch and keeping the file beside. Removing his glasses he looked up at his father, who placed his cup on the table.

"How long will you run away from this Jungkook?"

Jungkook internally scoffed but stayed silent, not wanting to disrespect his father. Mr. Jeon continued after hearing silence.

"You know this is important right?"

Jungkook slightly shook his head, "I don't think so dad. This wish that your father's best friend made is not at all important to me. I don't know why you still have to consider that wish when a decade has passed."

Mr. Jeon sighed, "I understand son, but your grandfather wouldn't be happy hearing this from you."

Jungkook looked away, controlling his urge to roll his eyes, "I cannot marry her dad."

Mr. Jeon frowned, "She is a nice girl Jungkook."

"I don't care dad. Nice or not, my work is my priority in my life. I don't have time to waste on such commitments made without my consent."

"Son, your grandfather would be upset if this promise doesn't get fulfilled. And it's not like you have to give her time. Just get married first. Rest all is up to you. Live the way you want or do whatever you want, but just fulfill this wish."

Jungkook looked at him, his tongue came in contact with his inner cheek and he thought for a moment.Β

"What about her? What did she say?"

"It's her grandfather's wish Jungkook. Obviously she agreed."

Jungkook hummed with a small nod. Looking around for a while, he stood up after picking his file and glasses and looked at his father, "I'll think about it."

Mr. Jeon nodded while a wave of relief passed his heart, knowing that he somehow convinced his stubborn son.

Jungkook turned around and walked out of his parent's mansion with a heavy feeling.

Sara shyly smiled as she admired the newly wedded couple holding hands for the first time. Her eyes stayed on them while her thoughts were thinking of her future with the man her grandfather decided for her.Β

She was going to get married in three months and still hadn't received any reply from his side making her smile immediately drop when she realized this.

She bit her lower lip, her anxiety kicking in highly as she sat down on the chair, feeling a bit down.

Soon later she felt a hand on her shoulder and she immediately looked up. Her smile returned and she embraced her mom while still sitting.

"Did he reply ma?"

Her mom smiled while caressing her head, "He's just busy dear. You know he has a lot to handle, he'll reply soon." She tried to make her dear daughter understand.

Sara pouted a little but still nodded, feeling a bit nervous to know when exactly he would reply.Β

"Now come on, smile dear. Three more months and you and him will be standing in their place." Her mom said while pointing at the newly wedded couple.

Sara blushed hardly.Β

Her mom was amused at her reaction.

Her daughter hadn't seen him, only knew his name and still she was blushing? For what?

"Why are you blushing dear?"

Sara shook her head, "I'm h-happy that I-I get to marry t-the man m-my grandfather fixed for me." Her red cheeks turned more red like a strawberry making her pat her cheeks feeling them get hot.

Her mother laughed at how she cutely expressed herself.

She felt so lucky to have such a daughter who was so pure and understanding of other's emotions.

"Now don't think much okay? Jungkook's loss if he denies this proposal."

Sara chuckled at her mom's possessive tone and tightened her hold on her.

Jungkook looked at the blueprint of the building placed on the table and sighed. He wasn't able to focus on his work cause of this proposal. This is why he didn't want any distractions in his life. He knew this commitment since childhood, but never imagined that everyone considered this so serious.Β

His phone buzzed with a notification and he rolled his eyes, knowing exactly who would have messaged him. Opening the message he wasn't surprised in seeing his grandfather's message.

"Son, have you decided yet?"

Jungkook immediately placed his phone down. He didn't want to upset his grandfather. No, he valued him too much, but that didn't mean that he, without any sort of hesitation would accept this proposal.

"Ignoring him again?"

Jungkook glanced at his hyung sitting on the couch while munching on his favorite snack.

"I don't want to say yes hyung. He always manages to convince me, but this matter is just so serious."

"I honestly don't see a problem Jungkook. I mean come on. You get married to her and just live the way you used to."

Jungkook sighed on hearing the same words again.

He did admit that they both were right, but he just wanted to focus on his career. Leave his time, he didn't even wanna give his name to any woman.

"I can only blame that old man. His stupid wish brought me to this situation ever since childhood and I can't even do anything about this cause of my grandfather."

The other man chuckled, "Leave that d€ad man alone now and decide on what you'll tell your grandfather."

Jungkook pressed his palm over his forehead feeling his head thumping hardly, "I would suggest you to agree."

Jungkook glared at him, "You don't understand Taehyung hyung. My reputation, that I worked so hard for is at stake when giving my name to a mere teacher."

Taehyung laughed a little, "I see no problem with that."

Jungkook raised his eyebrows, "I mean come on, Jeon Jungkook could and obviously can do better."

Taehyung nodded in agreement.

The phone once again buzzed and Jungkook lowly groaned, feeling frustrated with everything.

Taehyung smirked, "Just ignore her like how you're ignoring your grandfather."

Jungkook glared at him, "This isn't funny hyung."

Taehyung nodded seriously, "Then just say yes." Jungkook tried to interrupt but Taehyung didn't let him and continued, "Say yes and marry her. It's her grandfather's wish, she needs to fulfill it. Anyways you'd be done with your part after you say yes, so then just be over it. Marry her and then just focus on your work."

Jungkook thought about it for a moment. He sighed, he knew that he'd hurt her, but he didn't care. She wasn't his concern. This problem occurred cause of her loved one and he wasn't the one to blame. Not at all.

He picked up his phone and typed without hesitation to his grandfather conveying the answer to this marriage, now fully aware of his fixed decision on this proposal.

"I agree."
