Let the love story of the century begin.

โžถ๏ธŽ THE WOVEN, TAKEN !

Ariadne has said many goodbyes in her lifetime. That was a given, of course, in demigod life. What she hasn't heard of, however, was a demigod being kidnapped. She doesn't know why, but usually immortals would either: exhibit a, let them live; or exhibit b, kill them. No in between(s) heard ofโ€”until today, that is.

    'Annabeth Chase has been kidnapped'

The statement feels surreal, because Ariadne remembers small, little Annabeth chase who used to use her old shirts as dresses before she had her own clothes. Small, little Annabeth Chase who she once taught how to read hard words like 'subsequently' or 'Costochondritis' because Annabeth, just like most demigods, were dyslexic.

Ariadne feels it in her bones when another of her loved ones are snatched away from her; a mean, bubbling feeling that was probably better left buried inside than let out. She feels her patience stripped thinner and thinner each time she loses another one, and she knows Annabeth's technically not dead yet, but sue her for lacking faith after all the years of false hope.

    Ariadne needs to sit down.

The rest of Chiron and Percy's words fell on deaf ears as Ariadne slid down to sit on her chair, her eyes trying its best to not break out into tears. It was only until a gentle hand rest its hand on her shoulder that she looks up from her silent trance. What she didn't expect, however, was for it to be by the hands of her camp director, Dionysus.

"Sir?" She asks.

"Do not worry much, Artemis is coming for her," He spoke to reassure her.

In disbelief that the camp director is speaking to her, Ariadne only nodded.

"Do good to reassure the boy as well, he is in too much of a distress," He continued, nodding towards Percy who seemed to be blowing up on Chiron.

"Yes, sir." She replied.

After hearing her words, the camp director went back to his usual indifference, as if the small conversation with the girl had never even happened.

With a sigh, Ariadne stood up.

"I have to find her, Chiron!" He nearly shouted.

"Percy, calm down." Spoke Ariadne, and though she felt guilty for using her incredibly small power of charmspeak, she knew the boy wouldn't relent without it.

"Calm down?" Percy said in disbelief, before quickly shutting up at the eyebrow-raise look Ariadne gave him, as if challenging him to talk back.

She looked at Percy and Nico, before putting her gaze back at Chiron.

"I'll bring them to the archery range," She said, and Chiron nodded.

Putting each of her hand in both boys' shoulder, Ariadne brought them out of the house and towards the archery range where she knew the Apollo kids were practicing.

"Do not worry too much, Percy," She spoke at last, making the boy snap his head towards her, who was a bit taller than him, "the goddess Artemis is going for her, and although I can't say she'll succeed in her hunt, Artemis will definitely protect Annabeth."

"How would you know?" asked Percy in a frenzy, "she's a goddess."

"I would know because Artemis protects maidens, young girls," she emphasized, "she would never let one get hurt if she can help it."

It was silent for a millisecond, before the new boy broke the silence.

"Woah! What's that!" Nico exclaimed, pointing at the pegasus in the sky.

Just like that, the conversation turned into a two-way dialogue real quick, with Nico initiating questions and Ariadne answering the best she can. It's to this that she found out all about mythomagic cards, and that the boy loved eating an abnormal amount of french friesโ€”his personal record being 5 sets of large fries from McDonalds.

Soon, they passed the basketball court and were walking towards the archery range.

"Whoa! Does that mean I'll live with you?" Asked Nico in amazement as Ariadne just told him that her cabin and the Hermes cabin took in all the demigods.

Ariadne only chuckled at the boy's enthusiasm, finding him super cute.

"Unfortunately not, kid."

"Waitโ€”why not?" Though it was Percy this time that spoke.

"Travis and I made a deal. He takes the unclaimed and I take the claimed kids of the minor gods and goddesses. They were overflowing this summer, so we split them in two," she explained.

"Oh." Replied Percy dumbly.

"Mhmโ€”oh look!" She exclaimed, a smile riding up her face quick as she spotted Lee, pulling both Nico and Percy quickly.

Her eyes greedily took in the sight of her beloved boyfriend, all sun-kissed and gleaming of sweat which made his skin glisten. He held his bow firmly, his muscle flexing, showing all the efforts he put into exercise. His gaze was focused on the target, his teeth biting on his lip which made it all the more sexy andโ€”

"Oh, that's Lee Fletcher, Nico," said Percy obviously, breaking Ariadne out of her trance, "He's the son of Apollo, head of his cabin."

"Woah! That's so cool! That's the god that drove that crazy bus!" He exclaimed, pushing forward his Apollo card.

"Crazy bus?" asked Ariadne, confused.

Percy gave her a look that translated to don't ask whereas Nico gave her a look that said you won't believe what I'm about to say! What happened back there wouldn't be retold, however, as Lee finally noticed the three demigods on the sidelines.

"Ari!" he exclaimed with a smile, bringing her smile to brighten up even more. Like a golden retriever, he went towards her.

"Hi," Ariadne said sheepishly as her eyes ran up and down him subtilely, taking him in.

"Hey," he replied breathlessly. One because he just ran towards them, and two because he caught her roaming eyes. Before they could traumatize the kids, however, Ariadne brought the two boys with her to step forward.

"Oh!" exclaimed Lee in surprise, just noticing them, "Hey Percy! How're you?"

"Could be better," Percy replied bitterly.

"Oh.." he let out with a grimace, giving a look to Ariadne for help.

"This is Nico," Ariadne introduced quickly, "He's a new kid, and he thinks your archery's cool."

A grin appeared once more in Lee's face as he crouched down to Nico's height.

"Hiya chap! I'm Lee, son of Apollo." Nico said happily.

Lee ruffled up his hair, "What about I teach you how to shoot a bow for a bit, while Ariadne brings Percy down to his cabin so he can take a shower?"

While the question was for Nico to answer, ( he enthusiastically answered yes ) the suggestion was clearly for Ariadne, who gave him a nod of appreciation for taking one of them off her already exhausted back. ( though she didn't even realize she was exhausted until it was pointed out )

"See you after dinner?" She asked, giving him a sweet smile.

"Of course, babe," he answered, giving her a small peck that made both Nico and Percy gag in disgust. ( for once they had the same reaction. )

Ariadne only blushed, before bringing Percy down to the cabins.
