Ding Ding
I rub my eyes, getting awake by the sound of my phone. I forgot to turn him off before going to bed.

You have a new message:
1:45PM
From: John'🥑

Where are u? u okay?

I decide to call him to explain, I don't feel like sending texts.

«Hey Tae! Are you okay? Where are you?»
Johnny instantly bombards me with questions.

«I'm at home with Jaehyun...»

«Did something happen?»
Johnny asks, worried.

«Jaemin died this morning.»
I say directly, not in the mood to be subtle.
Johnny says nothing, probably shook, silence on the other end of the phone.

«I'm sorry...How are you two holding up?»

«Honestly, it's hard. We'll miss him...»
I feel like tearing up again.

«Do you want Yuta and me to come over? We could watch a movie and play some games.»
Johnny suggests.

«I think it's good idea, we really need to change our minds a bit.»
I agree.

«Let me get Yuta and we'll be here in twenty minutes.»
Johnny says before hanging up.

I put my phone on the bedside table and sit on the edge of the bed.

«Jaehyun wake up...»
I whisper, trying to wake him up calmly.

Jaehyun looks like a baby when he sleeps. But today, the dry tears on his cheeks and his swollen eyes make his face looks different. He looks so fragile and vulnerable; just like when he came to my house with his open wound. Jaehyun always hide this part of him but I like when he shows it, it reminds me how human he is.
Human like me.

«Sweetie?»
Jaehyun calls me, voice sleepy.

«Yuta and Johnny are coming over.»
I start.
«I think we need our friends by our side.»

Jaehyun nods his head before moving to place it on my lap.
«Thank you.»
He murmurs before sighing of pleasure when I start to caress his face with the tips of my fingers.

After few minutes of caresses, we stand up to go in the kitchen.

«I'll get us two glass of water; do you want to eat something?»
I ask as I take cold water in the fridge.

«I'm one hundred percent sure Yuta's going to come over with four pizzas.»
Jaehyun laughs.

«Four? Is he crazy?»

«He has eyes bigger than stomach.»
Jaehyun mocks gently Yuta, making me laugh too.

«He really looks like a sweet best friend.»
I tell.

«He is. He's really so sweet.»
Jaehyun agrees, smiling.

«Hello guys!»
Johnny yells, already in the living room.
I jumped a bit but then remember he has a spare key.

«You don't have to yell John', we're right here.»
I say as I drag Jaehyun behind me.

«I have four pizzas!»
Yuta exclaims happily.
Jaehyun and I burst in laugher.

«What?»
Yuta demands, confused.

«Jaehyun predicted that you were going to bring four pizzas and he was right!»
I explain, my stomach hurting at how much I laugh.

«He's not my best friend for nothing.»
Yuta says, smiling brightly at Jaehyun.

«You want to change your minds a bit?  Because I have tea to spill guys.»
Johnny tells.

«Go ahead!»
Yuta says, excited to hear the hot tea.

«I confessed to Mr. Ten this morning.»
He starts as Yuta is already jumping of excitement.
«And he said that if we're discreet enough we could date.»

Yuta is screaming so hard his vocals cords are maybe going to break.
«Yuta you look like a twelve years old girl.»
Jaehyun calms him down.

«You have pink hair dude your opinion doesn't count.»
Yuta snaps back.

«I only say it to you because I trust you but let's be clear, it's a secret, okay?»
Johnny says, counting on our discretion.

«Okay!»
Jaehyun, Yuta and I answer at the same time.

«Did you guys kiss?»
Jaehyun asks, shaking his eyebrows.

«Just a peck on the lips but I really thought I was going to faint like bitch this guy's gorgeous.»
Johnny says, his cheeks turning red.

«Johnten nation that's our moment!»
I exclaim, happy to see my best friend having feelings for someone.

«Actually, I have tea to spill too.»
Yuta says, a little embarrassed.
«There's a guy that I like. His name is Sicheng.»
Yuta says to Johnny and me; Jaehyun must be already aware.

«Wait a sec. Isn't he a friend of Jungwoo?»
I question Johnny.

«Sicheng?»
Johnny thinks out loud.
«Winwin! Yes, he's a friend of Jungwoo and people calls him Winwin!»
Johnny exclaims, proud to remember him.

«So.»
Yuta continues.
«I talked to him this morning and I'm going to take him on a date Saturday night.»
He says shyly.

«I'm so happy for you dude!»
Jaehyun tell as he takes Yuta into a friendly hug.

«I see that we're all going to be in relationships.»
I smile, happy to see love coming alive in our life.

«Let's eat the pizzas to celebrate this!»
Yuta exclaims, his stomach growling from hunger.

We all laugh at the sound and we finally eat our pizzas.

I glance at the slice of pizza that I have in my hand. I didn't eat pizza in months. I take a bite and, curiously, I don't feel the urge to throw up. My body is encouraging me to eat more, so I eat more. It feels good, eating after being starving for months. It feels right. Maybe eating as I normally should is healthier for me.

«Are you okay with this Tae?»
Johnny asks, worried, pointing at the pizza.

«I'm actually fine, it's good.»
I tell, taking on more bite of the slice I have in hands to empathize my words.

«What are you two talking about without us?»
Yuta asks, curious about the serious looks on our faces.

«Nothing!»
Johnny exclaims.

«That's fine Johnny, I can talk about it.»
I comfort Johnny. Then I turn to Jaehyun and Yuta
«I'm dealing with an eating disorder.»

«Oh god I'm sorry, I wouldn't bring pizzas if I knew!»
Yuta apologies.

«No that's fine, don't worry I'm getting better. Pizzas are actually really good.»
I tell, don't wanting them to worry for me.

Jaehyun comes closer to me and lays is head on my shoulder, his peachy smell invading my nose.
I see Yuta and Jonny staring at us, smiling.

«I have an idea!»
Yuta suddenly stands up, making Jaehyun and I jump.
«Let's skip the school this week and go on a trip to the beach. Busan would be a good place.»
Yuta suggests.

«I think that's a good idea. Staying in bed all day is not going to help us to get better. I think Tae and I need fresh air.»
Jaehyun agrees.

«I'm going to ask my parents when they get home.»
I say.
«Do you guys want to crash here tonight? We have a guest room for you two.»
I propose.
«My parents won't mind.»

«We're in!»
Johnny and Yuta answer at the same time, head shaking happily.

«Maybe we could invite Jungwoo and Sicheng to the trip to Busan.»
I propose.

«Yes!»
Yuta yells at the mention of Sicheng.

«Let's do that.»
Johnny laughs a bit at Yuta's reaction.
«You guys want to watch a movie?»

«Only if it's not one of the super creepy horror movie that Tae likes to watch.»
Jaehyun begs.

«It's not my fault if you're too much of a pussy to watch my horror movie.»
I say, mocking him.

«What did you say?»
Jaehyun gets indignant about the name.
«I'm not a pussy.»
Jaehyun yells before shooting a pillow at me.

«Oh, I see you want to play it like that!»
I shoot him a pillow too, wanting to close the humoristic fight on that but that would be forgetting how childish Johnny is, he joins the pillow fight; Yuta quickly does too.

It's running around my house, a pillow in hand that I can really feel how much I'm loved by them.

It feels so good to feel loved.
