THE BRUNETTE was walking around after her match supposedly to get water though she spent her time instead watching other fights. Studying each player till her eyes landed on one all too familiar fighter. She toward the back of the small crowd made by the students and sensei's of the two fighters. Meira had recognized the boy Axel was fighting to be the blond she'd kicked in the face during the captains war.

Axel had of course won though not without giving him a few bruises and a small cut before taking mercy on him and knocking him off the platform. Remembering her absence she turned and continued to walk back just as Animal, as he was nicknamed pushed his competitor of the platform- causing another siren to blare.

Furia De Pantera had only lost one fight putting them in second place going into the elimination rounds. Though, Meira was thankful for the break.

Seemingly after a blink it was the next challenge and Meira stood with her dojo along with all the others. Watching as a woman on a platform explained the next challenge. "We have now entered the elimination phase of the Sekai Taikai" She began.

"The dojos who do not win tonight will be headed home. The previous rounds have determined your current rankings The number one team will face the number 16 team." Her sentence caused every head to turn to the leaderboard, finding each of their own dojos and there competitors. Meira saw that they had to face a team called the Hornet's nest. "The number two team will face the number 15 team, and so on and so on."

Meira spoke up telling her team "We've go the Hornet's nest." Each of her teammates voiced their opinions, "I was watching some of their fights they seem... decent, well disciplined." Meira said looking over at the team seeing a few almost scared faces.

"Now for the rules of the event." The announcer began again. "Fighters will again face off on a platform."Gesturing behind her she said "This platform. But this time two fighters from each dojo are allowed at one time. If one of your fighters falls they are out. But another teammate can climb up to take your place. However the fight never stops. So get up there quick to not leave your teammate alone two-on-one. When all the fighters of a dojo have been knocked off, the team is out." She finished and then called up the first two dojos.

A buzzer sounded to begin the first round. '#1 IRON DRAGONS 鐵龍 VS. #16 WEST END WARRIORS' the screen read as the set of captains began their fight. Meira eyes traveled with Axel's agile movements. The two dragons easily took out the whole warriors' team. As they announced the Iron Dragons would be advancing to the next round the crowd applauded.

The female captain, Zara strutted around blowing a kiss to the crowd flashing a bright smile. Though Axel gave a simple, sort of salute to his sensei presumably, looking to Meira giving her a small nod that she returned with a soft smile and under to platform lights Meira caught pink hue to his cheeks.

She caught of guard by the yell he let out really trying to bite back her laughter as she knew it was out of excitement. "That's your man?" Meira heard Drea whisper, Meira retaliated lightly shoving her still trying to hold back her own laughter. "Shut up." She muttered.

"Next up Furia De Pantera vs. The Hornet's nest." They heard the announcer say. The team decided to send up their captains first as many planned to do. Diego and Meira walked to the platform. They walked up the steps to see the Hornets' captains.

As the siren buzzed, Meira got down in her fighting stance. She approached the more timid hornet girl. Meira was used to fighting opponents that would attack quickly and head on though seeing as this girl wasn't going to attack her she lunged at her.

Sending a kick to her side pushing her to the edge of the platform. The girl attempted to hit her back swinging her first toward the brunette. Yet, Meira quickly caught her arm holding it as she redirected her around and off the platform.

She looked over to see Diego had just thrown there other captain off the platform. The awaited the next two people to come up, Diego gave Meira a quick fist bump, a small smile formed on the girls face though she let it fall as the next two came up.

The two continue to fight, pushing the hornets off the platform till they heard that they had won and they would be going to the next round.

With a bright smile, Meira quickly caught Diego into a tight hug. When the two pulled apart they walked to the front edge of the platform looking out on the big crowd doing a quick bow. And Meira couldn't hide her grin.

Seeing Axel in the crowd she gave him a quick almost undetectable giddy wave before the two exited the stage walking back to their team.
