MEIRA DECIDED to do two pigtails, splitting those into two sections and braiding them. Finishing her hair she threw on a sweatshirt and some shorts knowing her gi was in her gym bag in their locker room at the venue. 

Gathering her things that were sprawled out on the vanity's countertop, walking out of the bathroom. "Finally" She heard her roommate making her roll her eyes. "oh hush" Meira replied, lying back on her bed.

Once the girls were ready they met up with team in the lobby. Their sensei went over strategy though it was a little difficult as they didn't know what the challenge was. With the approaching of said challenge they all hopped in a car, blasting music the whole way there. 

Walking to their locker room, talking about random things that popped into their heads. They reached their locker room and Meira, like a few others changed into their gis. They stood around waiting as they were a little early. 

Finally hearing the call for the fighters and their senseis to begin the first challenge they made their ways to the blue and grey. 

With many others they stood once again in a line Diego and Meira heading it, wrapped around the mat and the host, a Mr. Gunther Braun standing in the middle of all the dojos, microphone in hand. "The time has come. Welcome tour first event."

His words fueled Meira's excitement, nerve washing away. "I hope you're all well rested and ready for a new and unique competition. We call it the "Captain's War."" Meira continued to listen her gaze drifting behind the man to the dojo that stood just past him across the mat in their grey gis.

Catching sight of a certain boy who happened to be staring right back at her. With a soft smile she waved at him, her wave being a simple finger fluttering. Realizing he'd been caught he pulled his eyes from her looking back at the man who was explaining today's challenge, Meira doing the same chuckling under her breath. 

Though Axel couldn't seem to keep his eyes off her, his gaze continually being pulled back to her. "We told you how important your captains will be. So let's see how well you protect them." Axel heard Braun say once he managed to focus again.

"Four dojos will take the mat. Only one will be left standing. If you hit the mat, you're out. If one of your captains hit the mat, your entire team is out. For this round. Check the boards to see your group decided by random draw. Group A, you're up."

Seeing that their dojo was in group b the team stepped off the mat, watching as each team began to prepare. After about 2 minutes, Braun said "Ready.. Begin!" 

The blonde captain that Meira recognized as the one from Cobra Kai attacked the kids from Miyagi-Do, right as the game begun, her team reluctantly following her. It looked like chaos to Meira her heart pumping with that familiar feeling she got everytime she watched karate. 

Her eyes followed every quick movement, Meira heard Diego whisper something to their sensei about one of the Miyagi-Do captains being good but, not focused. "Ell es bo pero no esta concentrat" Meira eyes immediately went to the blonde cobra upon hearing his words, having seen them talking though, it didn't seem to end too well.

 They continued to fight but, the male captain went down getting them eliminated. Soon after followed "Falchi Della Notte captain down." They announced with a buzzer like the Miyagi-Dos.

"They are out. Only Cobra Kai and the Iron Dragons remain alive." Braun confirmed. Cobra Kai had three fighters left while the Iron Dragon still had all six left. The six seemed calm, standing in formation of four in front and the two captains behind them standing in the opposite corner of the Cobras.

The three in black got into their fighting stance and the first row of four dragon all dropped to one knee making them, out of the round. The action confused Meira and she was sure many others, after a gesture the four walked back to their sensei seeing this the cobras stopped not expecting it.

They turned back to each other for a moment making up a new plan as Axel and his partnering captain took a step forwards. It seemed that the two boys would go after Axel and the female captain would go after the smaller brunette girl. 

The Cobra Kais were the first to attack, Axel efficiently took down one of the guys. Turning to take out the other one throwing him over his shoulder onto his while his partner fought the blonde cobra also getting her on the ground. The buzzer blaring to signal that cobra kai was out and that the Iron Dragons had won.

"Both Cobra Kai captains go down. The Iron Dragons win." The announcer spoke. The stadium filled with applause, and the two dragons went back to their sensei.

"Group B. Let's see what you got" Braun said. Meira along with her team stood. They decided they should stay back and let the other dojos tire themselves out and eliminate each other and then attack. With a plan set in place, they proceeded towards the mat.

Doing their quick handshake, that they always did before a fight Meira and Drea split. Meira standing a few steps behind her. When the announcer yelled "Begin!" Meira let the adrenaline take over. The Los Escorpiones Voladores went after Brazil's redentores, leaving the panthers with the West End warriors.

As the red gis came out them in a flash, beginning to attack the panthers combatted quickly gaining the upper hand. The blaring siren, had told them that the Los Escorpiones Voladores had been eliminated. Meira caught a glimpse of Javi going down leaving the with five fighter's. "Javi's out" Animal yelled to inform them.

 Drea went after the girls captain of the warriors not paying attention to the outside noise, eyes focused on her target. The girl was taller than Drea and bigger too, glancing at her partner a scoff coming from her mouth. Seeing the girl was distracted, Drea landed a swift elbow to her stomach. 

The girl leaned over clutching her torso. Drea got down low, sending a kick to the back of her legs causing her to fall over as she quickly jumped up out of the way, not wanting to be fallen on. "West end Warrior captain down" With the buzzer seconds before.

"Furia de Pantera and The Redentores are the only ones standing now." Drea reminded the team to step back and take a breath which they all complied knowing they needed to. Surprisingly their 6 fighters still remained a blur of blue sprinted at them. They seemed to be slightly unorganized making it easy to pick off each person.

Seeing as there was now only 3 left fighters left Drea ran over to help Maria take down a guy leaving only the two captains. Meira began to fight the male dodging each of his advances seemingly effortlessly. Meira's smaller frame helped her weave through the captains attacks before finally doing a corkscrew kicking him in the jaw sending him toppling over, right as Diego eliminated the girl captain

The buzzer buzzed and "With both Redentores' captains out Furia de Pantera wins!" was announced, the rest of the team crowded around her and Diego. A bright smile on her face as she celebrated with her team. As they began to get off the mats, Meira turned around to help the redentores captain up. 

"Sorry about that, was it too flashy?" She asked and though the other guy was sour about having lost he cracked a small smile at her joke, accepting her hand "Nah it's good." He mumble in response to her apology. "I have to say you're really good though." Meira said seeing that he was a good fighter. "Just not good enough" Meira continued with a playful tone before running back to her team so they  could continue the tournament.

Though she had seemed to miss the jealous look Axel had on his face directed at the blonde boy of the Brazilian Redentores.
