𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒'𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐕

I had my alarm set for 8:00am to wake Jeremiah up for his birthday.

I went into his room and started to nudge him to wake up. He then opened his eyes. "Happy birthday my boy." I say excitedly.

His face then lights up "It's my birthday!" He says excitedly.

I laugh "Yeah it is your a big boy now, you coming down to open your presents?" He nods and runs downstairs behind me.

As soon as he goes into the living room his face lights up and turns around "Is all this just for me?"

I nod "Yeah my love, your one spoilt boy go on then open them! You have more presents coming from your family."

He then picks one up and rapidly started to rip the wrapping paper to see what he got.

"ITS A LEGO SET!!" He screams

I laugh "Yeah thought you'd love that since your into Lego now."

He smiles "Thanks mummy."

I smile back "It's okay my love."

He then goes to pick another and he unwraps it. He then reveals the Real Madrid kit. "Is this daddy's team?" I nod "Yeah thought you'd love it with Bellingham on the back, you like it?"

He jumps up "I love it."

5 mins later he was finished with all of his presents and start to open my card. He then gave me it to read "Happy 4th Birthday to my little man, thank you for making me your mummy and I love you so much, tomorrow we are off to Spain to go watch daddy play football."

He then jumps up and down in excitement "Yayyy I get to go see daddy, I've missed him so much."

I smile "I bet you have , he misses you too. He also bought you some presents to open when you get there and when we come back daddy's coming back with us and we're having your birthday party and auntie Kiloni is coming so is Nana."

He smiles "Best birthday ever."

"You want some birthday breakfast?" I asked

He nods "Yes please mummy."

I then went into the kitchen and made pancakes with some Nutella and cut some strawberries and also bananas up.

I also made Jeremiah some hot chocolate.

As I go to place his breakfast down someone started to call me. It was Jude.

I pick it up "Hey stranger."

He replies "Hi, how's my birthday boy doing?"

"He's very excited I'm giving his breakfast now actually want to talk to him for a bit ?"

"Yeah of course." He says

I then passed the phone to Jeremiah and put him on FaceTime. "Daddy wants to talk to you."

Jeremiah then says "Hi daddy."

"Hey little man, happy birthday. Wish I was there with you. I've got you some presents here and also one for your mummy."

I then look up confused. Why's Jude got me a present?

Jude then says "You get everything you wanted of mummy?"

Jeremiah nods "Yeah best birthday ever.

Jude then laughs "I'll see you soon kidda I promise ,daddy loves you."

Jeremiah then smiled and went back to eating his breakfast.

I picked back up my phone. "How's it going over there?"

Jude then shrugs "Stressed, making us train a lot for this match coming up but guess that's what being a footballer is. Wish I was there to celebrate Jeremiah's birthday."

I then show a upset smile "He does to but don't worry you'll see him soon."

Jude then smiled "Yeah I hope so."

I then ask about the present "So what's this present you got me?"

"You'll have to wait and see, it's just a thank you for taking care of Jeremiah all these years and also letting me in my Sons life."

I shrug "He's half of me and half of you, I can't take him away from you Jude I know we're not in a good place but if you want to see him your more than welcome to."

"Thanks Ines your a great person, anyway best get going or I'm gonna get my arse kicked in, make sure to make Jeremiah's day amazing for me yeah and tell him I said happy birthday again."

I smile "Will do, bye."

He then ends the call.

Jeremiah and Jude will for sure have the best father and son relationship.
