ONE DAY

You and Jungkook are at Kim's mansion, attending Jin's and Lucy's party to celebrate Lucy's 7-month pregnancy and her birthday. After a while, you excuse yourself to the bathroom. As you step out, your eyes widen in shock when you see Hanna bullying a girl around your age.

Hanna sneers, "What did you say? You think you have what it takes to be my friend? With that face and those clothes... Even the maids here dress better than you." She laughs mockingly.

The girl, clearly furious, pushes back at Hanna, who loses her balance on her heels and falls against the railing. The girl’s heart stops in horror at the sight.

Hanna screams, "M-Mom!!" Your eyes widen as you rush to the railing, realizing she’s hanging on for dear life. The girl immediately bolts away, terrified.

You shout, "Hanna! Don’t panic! Hold my hand and look at me!" Your own panic rises as you try to grasp her hand. She cries out, desperately trying to reach you, but she slips slightly and screams, "Mom! Save me!!"

Your heart races as you see her grip falter. In a split second, you take action without fully processing it: you unpin your pallu from your shoulder and drop it down to her. Hanna grabs it just in time, but as you pull her up, Zoe suddenly pushes you away, wrapping her arms around her daughter.

Zoe glares at you, saying, "How dare you push my daughter!!"

You stammer, "W-What? No! I didn’t—"

Your cheeks flush with embarrassment as she slaps you. Jungkook and others, alerted by the commotion, rush over. In the chaos, you trip on the staircase,...

Jungkook: YN!

He catches you, wrapping his arms around you. His eyes blaze with anger as he notices your disheveled pallu and the situation unfolding.

Jungkook: "What the fuck do you think you're doing, Zoe?!!"

Zoe: (straightening her back, clutching Hanna protectively) "She pushed Hanna! I saw it with my own eyes!"

(She points an accusatory finger at you. Hanna, clinging to her mother, sobs dramatically.)

Zoe: "She's always been jealous of Hanna!"

YN: I w-as just helping her—

Zoe: SHUT UP! Ever since you arrived, you’ve been hurting my daughter!

Jungkook: (His posture stiffens, his jaw clenched in anger as he steps forward) "Do you have any idea what you're insinuating?! She literally just saved your daughter from falling off a balcony, and you have the audacity to accuse MY WIFE?!"

Hanna: (bursts into another fit of tears, pointing at you and shrieking) "MOMMY, SHE’S EVIL! SHE TRIED TO KILL ME!"

YN: (eyes widening in disbelief) W-why are you lying...

Jungkook's face darkens with fury as he positions himself between you and Zoe’s accusations.

Jungkook: "ENOUGH. My wife just risked her own safety to save your daughter’s life, and you’re spouting these ridiculous accusations? Hanna, tell the truth right now!"

Hanna looks at her mother for guidance, then back at Jungkook’s angry face. She swallows hard, but Zoe gives her a menacing glare, leading her to continue lying.

Hanna: "She pushed me! She wanted me to fall! She hates me!"

Jungkook: (eyes narrowing, voice seething with anger) "I can’t believe I have to deal with this bullshit. YN would never EVER do something like that. And you’re going to stand there and let your daughter accuse HER, knowing damn well she saved her life?! Whats your F!king PROBLEM WITH HER!!

Zoe: (flinching slightly, anger rising) "What’s my issue?!! You’re blind to her! Just like Jimin was blind to 'HER.' Why can’t you see she’s manipulating you with her behavior?"

Jungkook: (eyes darkening with rage) 
"Manipulating me? She’s not manipulating ANYONE!! I know her better than you, so don’t you DARE suggest she’s at fault! What kind of parent accuses a young girl? YN IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MESS!!"

Zoe: "He used to think the same, didn’t he?! Look at what Khusi did! She took my parents and my brother's happiness! She acted just like YN is now! Why are you so eager to repeat the past?!"

Jungkook: (voice filled with fury) “You’re completely mistaken. YN is NOT KHUSI. She’s caring and compassionate. Blaming her is not only wrong, but it also disrespects your deceased brother's wife!"

Jungkook: "Stop with the nonsense about repeating history. YN is NOTHING like Khusi. You need to reflect on your actions and acknowledge what kind of parent you are. The pain of the past is clouding your judgment, and it’s pathetic. Take responsibility for your actions!"

Jungkook and YN had moved from the palace to his mansion, wanting you to feel comfortable with his family first. As you zoned out, he noticed and began singing, pulling you onto the couch.

Jungkook: singing "If the world was ending, I wanna be next to you." (She snap and sees him he pulled her to couch like queen and pick his mic, He gestures for you to hold his hand, and as you do, he pulls you into a slow dance.)

As the song shifts, you both keep dancing until you accidentally end up on the couch. Jungkook slips off, making you laugh.

Jungkook:( grinning) "She doesn't know how beautiful her smile is." (He stares at you, making you blush.)

Jungkook: "Promise me something?"

YN: looks at him

Jungkook: holding her hand "Promise me, whenever the world feels noisy, you'll just listen to my voice."

YN: "And what if you get noisy?" (Jungkook smirks.)

Jungkook: (He gently tugs her hand, pulling her closer) "Well, if I get noisy, then it's your job to shut me up... (Chuckle lightly)

It's been tough for Y/N, dealing with accusations and her feelings toward Zoe, despite Jungkook standing by her side. She tries to brush it off, but it still stings a little.

(Bell rings)

Jungkook: "Ah, who’s at the door?" (He gets up, opens the door) "Hyung! Come in."

Jimin enters with a small smile, and they exchange greetings as Jungkook offers water.

Jimin: "Thanks... and, uh, sorry about Zoe."

Jungkook: "Don’t worry about it, Hyung. You were in Paris."

After a while, they chat and exchange gifts. Y/N goes to get coffee for them.

Jimin: "So, why India all of a sudden?"

Jungkook chuckles, knowing exactly what Jimin is thinking.

Jungkook: "Don't worry, Muskan's fine."

Jimin: "I didn't even say anything about her."

Jungkook: "You didn’t have to, Hyung. I can read between the lines." (glances at Y/N as she returns with coffee) "We just wanted some time alone, away from everything."

YN: "And I haven’t visited home yet..."

Jungkook: "Yeah, and you’ve been wanting to see your family for a while." (sips coffee, then grins) "Would you like to come with us, Hyung?"

Jimin: "Really? You're inviting me?"

Jungkook: "Of course. It’d be great. Plus, you can finally see your Momo." (teasingly)

Jimin: "Stop it, Jeon." (mouths)

Jungkook: "What? You miss her, Hyung."

YN: "Who? Really?!"

Jungkook laughs, while Jimin blushes, flustered.

Jungkook: "Perfect timing, Y/N. Jimin might join us in India, and he’s just denying his feelings for Muskan."

Jimin: "I’m not denying it! I just—"

(Both Y/N and Jungkook widen their eyes as he accidentally confesses.)
