The very next day, everyone was gathered back in the arena as they await their real toughness test to begin. [Y/n] and Fang stood next to each other, close to Boboiboy and his other friends, as they listened attentively to the Admiral.

"So you really want to take the TAPOPS Toughness test?" Tarung questioned, pacing back and forth.

"Err... Yes, Admiral!" Boboiboy replied, with a hint of hesitation. "Do you understand the consequences? Should you fail?" He asked again, this time more firmly. "We will be punished." The gravity manipulator replied this time, her voice laced with nervousness.

"AND?!"

"Uh... and we'll be expelled from TAPOPS." Ying stated, and Tarung let out a huff. "Hmph. I see you're clear on that." He said, his hands at the back of his body.

Kokoci turned to the group before saying, "Hmm... I wish you luck." Boboiboy smiled at his statement. "Don't worry, commander. We'll give it our best!" He replied with much enthusiasm, and Tarung turned around rather quickly.

"You think your best will be good enough?!" He shouted, making the brunette flinch. Tarung pressed his watch and, in an instant, a hologram of a planet appeared before the group.

Gopal's eyes widened when he saw the terrifying looking planet. "Huh?! Will the test be done on this planet?" He questioned, grabbing a hold of his head. "Correct. Planet Volcania. A planet that's filled with active volcanoes and rivers of molten lava." Tarung responded, his eyes lingering on the hologram.

[Y/n] crossed her arms and briefly glanced at the planet before sighing. "What EXACTLY is this toughness test all about?" Boboiboy asked and took a step forward. "It's a simulation test. Your task is to retrieve a power sphera hidden in Planet Volcania." Kokoci explained.

Gopal let out a sigh of relief at hearing that the test would be done in simulation. "Phew! Thank god it's only a simulation!" He said, and Tarung side eye him before smirking. Meanwhile, [Y/n] also glanced at Gopal before frowning.

'Either this will go well or bad..'

Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard Ying speak, "Where exactly is the Power sphera that we need to recover?" She asked, and Kokoci pointed at the hologram. "On the peak of that volcano!" He said and put his hand down.

"It's on top of the volcano?!" Boboiboy exclaimed in disbelief, and Kokoci nodded. "Yes. You should save your energy til you've reached the top." He said flatly. "And... TWO teams will be involved. Team A and B!" Tarung added, his hands resting at his hips.

"Huh? Two teams?" They exclaimed in unison. "Correct. Team B will consist of all of you!" Kokoci stated, pointing at everyone, except for two individuals. But they didn't need to know that.

"We're on the same team? Awesome!" Boboiboy and Gopal said in unison, happy that they were on the same team and didn't have to compete with each other. But Boboiboy was mostly happy because he could be in a team with [Y/n]. "Eh, what about the other team?" Yaya questioned.

"Team A is already on Planet Volcania!" The admiral replied. "They're already there?" Boboiboy muttered, and Ying stated, "Whoa, they're definitely after that power sphera too!"

"Enough! Time to begin the toughness test! Ochobot!"

The group was confused about why they needed Ochobot, but they didn't question it further because they fear the wrath of their admiral.

"BEGIN NOW!"

"Affirmative! TELEPORTATION POWER!"

Ochobot activated his powers, and the familiar blue and yellow portal appeared. "Why are you still standing there ogling?! The test begins NOW! GO!" Tarung exclaimed, grabbing the two boys and pushing them into the portal.

[Y/n] sighed as she and the others walked into the portal calmly. She glanced back at the portal to see a flying camera enter and hide behind one of the spiky pillars.

"What a beautiful planet!" The Y duo stated, which, in fact, is true. Even though the planet is filled with active volcanoes and molten lava rivers, it is also filled with beautiful redish and blue spiky stone pillars.

Fang and [Y/n] looked at each other before shrugging. "Hey! That's the volcano the commander was telling us about!" Boboiboy pointed at the said volcano, turning to the others.

Ying shivered in fear at seeing the massive volcano. "Yeesh! So we need to go there to get the power sphera?" She asked, and Gopal replied with a confident grin, "Heh! Don't sweat it! It's all just a simulation, right?"

As soon as he said that, hot steam blew upwards from the ground, hitting his arm. He yelped and stumbled on the ground. "Wargh! IT'S HOT!" He exclaimed and blew on his arm to reduce the pain.

Boboiboy was about to aid his friend when the ground started shaking beneath them. And just like before, steam came out of the ground, only this time there were several and started to surround them.

"We need to move now!" [Y/n] shouted urgently, and the others didn't need to be told twice. "How could a simulation be this REAL?!" Gopal exclaimed.

Meanwhile, the camera continued to follow the unsuspecting teens. "Haha! Let's see how far Boboiboy and his team are willing to go pass this test." Tarung said firmly, staring at the running teenagers.

Finally, the group managed to escape from the steams. But now they have encountered another problem. The lava river.

"We've arrived at the volcano's base!" Boboiboy stated, and Gopal came panting from behind him. "But how will we cross this lava river?" He questioned before regaining his posture.

"Easy!" Ying declared and used her super speed to jump at the rocks floating above the lava. "Hey! You're just crossing alone?! Help us out, too!" Gopal exclaimed, and Yaya went past them before hovering slightly above the ground.

[Y/n] watched from behind as Yaya lifted the boulders using her gravity abilities, making a bridge.

"Cross the river, quick!" She stated. "Awesome, Yaya! Let's go, Gopal!" Boboiboy said before jumping into the make shift bridge. "Hey! Wait for me, Boboiboy!" Gopal soon followed.

Meanwhile, Fang and [Y/n] stayed behind, and the raven haired boy glanced up to see two silhouettes standing near a cliff. The feline noticed this and followed his gaze. And she exhaled through her nose. The two figures then disappeared.

"Let's go." She said and started making her way up the cliff. Fang hesitated before following the female.

Back to the unsuspecting group, the two males continued to jump over the rocks, with Gopal trying to keep up with his best friend. "Uhh... wait up, Boboiboy! Wait!" He exclaimed.

The brunette heard his plea and stopped at the last boulder. Gopal smirked and stepped back to get momentum and failed to notice the bubbling lava. "Hurry and jump!" Ying encouraged, also unaware of the danger.

The lava burst, and Boboiboy took action by pushing his friend aside. Resulting in him being burned.

"Boboiboy!"

Boboiboy landed on the ground with a thud. His friends immediately went to his side as he held his stinging arm. "Boboiboy! Hey, are you okay?!" Gopal questioned in genuine concern.

Boboiboy groaned before replying, "Ugh. I'm good. But... how come a simulation hurts this bad?" Suddenly, his watch beeped, and a holagram of Admiral Tarung came to view.

"Hahaha! That's because it's NOT a simulation." He declared, and the groups eyes widened in shock. "What?!"

Next to Tarung's hologram came Kokoci's. "My apologies. It's true that these tests are usually conducted via simulation. However... OWW!" Kokoci's sentence was cut off when Tarung shoved the short alien down.

"No buts! With our situation as desperate as it is now... It's better for this test to be conducted in a real-life environment!" He stated, crossing his arms. "A real-life environment?!"

"Isn't that too dangerous, Admiral?" Boboiboy asked in concern. But the admiral merely smirked, "If you think all of this is too much for you... You're welcome to withdraw." He said.

"Oooh, so we can do that? Shall we, Boboiboy?" Gopal turned his head to look at his friend, but the said boy scoffed at his statement. "Hey, we can't quit now! We must keep going! Fang, you need to-" He cut his sentence when he noticed that the male was not with them.

"Eek! Did he fall into the lava river?" Gopal asked as he and Boboiboy went over to the edge. They fell down their knees, crying, "Farewell, Fang... you left us before you could become popular..." They said in unison, and an image of Fang laughing was in their minds.

Yaya also noticed that a certain [h/c] girl was not with them. "Eh? [Y/n] is also not here!" Upon hearing that, Boboiboy instantly grew panic. "What?! Do you think she also fell into the lava?! NOO!" He exclaimed, swinging his hands in the air like a madman.

The rest stared at him with a deadpan look.

Before Boboiboy can have a panic attack, the hologram of Tarung appeared in front of him. "What nonsense are you talking about?! Fang and [N/n] are already up ahead without you! Continue with the test NOW!" He shouted, making the brunette flinch.

Ying sighed. "Why did Fang and [Y/n] go ahead without us? And it's unlikely of [Y/n] to leave us behind." She said. "Yeah... she would have lent us a hand! Come Boboiboy!" Yaya stated, and the brunette nodded as they continued their journey up to the volcano.

A few minutes later, both Yaya and Ying managed to arrive at the top of the volcano, while Boboiboy and Gopal were still making their way up.

"I'm not seeing Fang and [Y/n] anywhere." Ying stated, looking around in hopes of finding the two individuals.

Boboiboy and Gopal were sweating bullets as they dragged their feet. "Just a bit more, Gopal..." The elemental manipulator said, glancing at his friend. "I've told you... should've used your powers... but you won't listen!" Gopal replied.

"The commander told us to conserve our energy, remember?" Boboiboy said, and he was ready to pass out in exhaustion. "Yeah... but it's tiring!" Gopal complained, wiping off the sweat on his forehead.

"Finally... were here." Boboiboy smiled before collapsing on the ground. But his rest was short-lived when Yaya urgently called out his name, "Boboiboy! Look over there!" She pointed at the summit.

"Huh? Geez... let me catch my breath. I just got here." He said as he stood. His eyes locked on where the gravity manipulator was pointing at and gasped. "Huh?! A power sphera?"

Gopal immediately cheered at hearing his friends statement. "Yay! We made it!" He exclaimed, gaining back his energy. "Let's go." Boboiboy said, already walking towards the summit. "This whole test wasn't all that bad after all..."

"Shadow Pierce!"

"Claw Strike!"

Boboiboy suddenly got knocked back by a powerful force but managed to stand his ground. His looked up in confusion and saw a black mist before it disappeared, revealing Fang and [Y/n].

"You, Fang and [Y/n]?!" The girls said in unison. "Hey! What's the matter with you two?!" Gopal questioned in irritation. "Forgive us. But we can't let you take this Power sphera." The feline stated firmly.

Boboiboy groaned as he stood up from his crouching position. "Why? I thought we're a team?!" He exclaimed, hurt by the fact that his crush could betray them like this.

"Says who?! We're on the OTHER team!" Fang revealed, which shocked the group. "Huh?! What?!"

Gopal then decided to contact their commander. "Commander! What the heck is Fang talking about?!" He questioned, and the short alien's hologram appeared. "It's true. Fang, [Y/n], and Team A were tasked to stop you!"

Next to him, Tarung let out an amused chuckle. "Heh! If you want to pass this exam... You'll need to defeat Team A and recover that power sphera!" He exclaimed.

"But... theres only two of them, aren't they outnumbered?" Gopal asked once again. "Who said there's only two of us? Team A! ASSEMBLE!" Fang exclaimed, and two unfamiliar figures jumped down and landed on the ground.

One was a girl wearing a green attire with a hood. She was also holding a matching shield. The other one was a boy, wearing the same attire as the girl next to him, but instead of a shield, he was wearing a hat.

"Introducing... Sai and Shielda." [Y/n] stated, gesturing to the two siblings. "These are our opponents?" Ying and Yaya questioned as they looked at each other in nervousness.

The tension was cut short when Boboiboy sheepishly offered his hand to Sai. "Hehe... hey there, how are you? Err... I'm Boboiboy." He said before he got pulled away by none other than Gopal.

"What are you doing?! They're our enemies, you know!" Gopal said, dragging the boy by his arm. "Pshh.. what enemies? They're just doing their jobs." Boboiboy replied, and Gopal was about to say something but stopped when something fast came past them.

It was a hat that was on Sai's head. It hit one of the massive spiky rocks, destroying it in the process before it came back to its owner. [Y/n] huffed at this. "Show off." She muttered playfully, and Sai heard her and gave a smirk.

Both Boboiboy and Gopal stared wide eye before getting amazed. "SO COOL! His hat flew right back like a boomerang!" They exclaimed in unison. Sparkles can be seen in the background.

The siblings stared at the gawking boys in front of them before Shielda scoffed, "So THESE are the earthlings we're supposed to stop?" She questioned in an unamused tone. "Heh. Easy." Sai replied, pulling his hat slightly down.

"I told you, they're just a bunch of weaklings." Fang said with a childish grin. His statement made the two girls from Boboiboy's team grow irritated. "What did you say?! Get over here!"

"Mighty Punch!"

"Super-speed kicks!"

Both Yaya and Ying attacked simultaneously before it was abruptly blocked by Shielda's green shield. "Reflect!" She exclaimed, knocking the two gal's away. [Y/n] activated her mask, preparing for a fight.

"That shield has powers?!" Boboiboy said in disbelief. Then, his watch beeped, and Kokoci's hologram appeared on his watch. "Be careful! Shielda's shield can absorb and reflect all- UGH!" His warning was cut short when he was roughly shoved by Tarung.

"QUIET! You don't need to tell them that!"

"I beg your pardon, Admiral!"

Boboiboy sweat dropped at the scene he just witnessed. "It can reflect anything?" Gopal muttered after overhearing their commander's warning. He picked up a rock before tossing it up and down with his hand.

"No way." He said before throwing the rock at Shielda's direction, and just like the short alien said, it instantly bounced back, hitting Gopal on the stomach.

Shielda let out a chuckle, "Heh. Did it hurt?" She teased, making [Y/n] giggle a little. Gopal clicked his tongue before standing up. "You think you're so great?!" He shouted, and just like before, his insult was bouncing back at him.

Gopal screamed at hearing his own insult come back to him. He fell down on his knees as a dramatic light spot was above him. "Fine... I know I'm nothing..." He said in an upset tone.

Boboiboy stared at his sulking friend. "It can reflect insults, too?" He said. "C'mon, Gopal! Let's hit them again-ARGH!" As Ying was giving her speech, she was hit by the hat. "Ying!" Yaya immediately went over to her female friend.

Meanwhile, Sai retrieved back his hat. "Bullseye." He muttered, and [Y/n] glared at him from Fang's side.

Ying groaned in pain, and seeing this, Yaya grew furious. "How dare you!" She yelled in anger. She levitated in the air before using her gravitational power to ascend several boulders and used it to attack the siblings from below.

Shielda deflected the incoming boulders, while Sai sliced it with his metal hat.

Ying managed to regain her strength and called out to the brunette, "Boboiboy! Go get that Power sphera quick!" She commanded. "But will you be okay?" He asked in concern, but the girl dismissed him. "Don't worry about me! Just grab that power sphera, and this test will be over!" She exclaimed.

The boy looked hesitant before agreeing. "Okay! Elemental Power! Boboiboy Wind!" He changed into his proper element before ascending to the sky.

[Y/n] noticed this and turned to Fang. "We can't let him get to the Power sphera, Fang!" She declared, and the raven-haired boy nodded, summoning his shadow falcon.

Both him and [Y/n] chased after the brunette. Boboiboy glanced at his back and gasped at seeing them right on his tail. "Shadow Hands!" Fang summoned multiple shadow hands and tried to reach for the boy. But Boboiboy dodged it.

Meanwhile, back at the fight below. Shielda was inching closer and closer to the girl. "She's gaining on us!" Yaya stated, and before anyone could do anything, Shielda slammed her shield on the ground, and rocks flew right at Yaya.

"Are you okay, Yaya?" Ying questioned after she managed to grab her friend. Before Yaya could respond, Sai jumped in front of them. "Zig-Zag Shield Throw!" He exclaimed, throwing his hat as it made a zig-zag motion towards the two females.

"Slow-mo Speed!" Ying created a dome like barrier, as it slowed down time from the inside, but the hat was still moving fast. The hat touched the ground, creating an explosion that knocked back the two females, making them unconscious.

Sensing the commotion, Boboiboy looked down to see his friends in a terrible state. "YAYA! YING!" Hearing this, [Y/n] and Fang glanced down before looking at each other with a guilt in their eyes.

"Just surrender now, Boboiboy!" [Y/n] exclaimed before Fang attacked again with his shadow hands, and this time, he managed to slap Boboiboy hard on the ground. [Y/n] gasped before hitting Fang on the head.

Back at the station, Ochobot saw how his friend was knocked down and grew extremely worried. "We need to stop the test, Admiral! They're getting out of hand!" Kokoci stated, concerned on how things are getting a little too far. But Tarung merely scoffed. "Stop? Hmph. Absolutely not!"

Boboiboy changed back into his original form, as he saw Fang and [Y/n] jumped down and made their way towards him.

"Boboiboy! Are... are you okay?" Fang asked, and [Y/n]
