she walked beside kordell holding hands and the others who were all dressed up for the night aswell

after the long morning of family calls it was time for the night

they went near the table that had their champagne drinks and put their cups up

"cheers!" jana said

"cheers!" everyone cheered

then they drank out their cups and talked near the table like they always did

the night air was warm a soft breeze rolling in from the ocean as joy and kordell sat on the plush daybed at soul ties their favorite little escape spot in the villa

the villa's background noise was distant but here? It felt like they were in their own little world

joy leaned against kordell's side with her legs stretched out as she lazily traced a pattern on his arm

"you know for a man who swore he wasn't gonna catch feelings in this villa you be looking at me like you're in deep" joy said

kordell raised an eyebrow smiling

"and you be acting like you ain't just as gone as me dawg" kordell said

"boy please I'm chilling" joy scoffed sitting up slightly

kordell squinted at her

"oh you chilling? so if I pull away right now you wouldn't care?" kordell said

she shrugged tilting her chin up

"nope" joy said

kordell dramatically moved his arm from around her and shifted to the side

"bet" kordell said

as soon as he did joy let out a loud gasp and grabbed his wrist pulling him right back

"I know you not tryna play with me like that" joy said

kordell cracked up wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her into his lap

"see? you like me" kordell said

joy giggled running her fingers through his hair

"I tolerate you" joy said

he hummed leaning in closer

"tolerate me enough to give me a kiss?" kordell said

she pretended to think tapping her chin

"hmm... I guess I can spare one" joy said

"that's crazy cause I was gonna take one either way" kordell said

before she can respond he cupped her face and pressed his lips to hers soft and lingering

she smiled against his lips melting into him as his hands settled on her waist

the kiss deepened for a moment before joy pulled away with a dreamy sigh

"okay maybe I do like you a little bit" joy teased brushing her nose against his

kordell chuckled tucking a curl behind her ear

"good cause I'm keeping you forever" kordell said

joy bit her lip staring at him like he just said the best thing in the world

"forever sounds nice" joy said

he nodded kissing her forehead

"yeah it does" kordell said

they stayed there wrapped up in each other for a few minutes before kordell spoke up

"man I don't even know where to begin because nothing I say will ever be enough to explain what you mean to me coming into this villa I didn't expect to find someone like you someone who makes me feel like I can be soft like I don't always have to have my guard up I never thought I'd meet a woman who could see me really see me for who I am and still choose me every day" kordell started with his voice steady but filled with emotion

joy's eyes shimmered under the lights and she squeezed his hand slightly

"when I messed up I was terrified I'd lost you forever and that scared me more than anything because the truth is joy... you are the best thing that has ever happened to me I don't care about this competition about winning I already won when I met you" kordell continued with his voice thick with regret

joy's lips trembled with her eyes brimming with unshed tears

her other hand came up to cover her mouth as she tried to hold back the flood of emotions

kordell noticed immediately with his heart clenching at the sight

he reached up his thumb gently swiping away the tear that slipped down her cheek

"don't cry girl I never wanna be the reason you cry unless it's happy tears" kordell whispered with his voice softer now full of nothing but love and reassurance

joy let out a small emotional laugh shaking her head as more tears spilled over

"I just- I didn't think I'd feel this way about anyone here but you kordell... you made me believe in love again" joy sniffled

kordell cupped her face with his touch tender and his forehead resting lightly against hers

"then let's believe in it together" kordell said

joy nodded with her eyes locked with his and at that moment nothing else in the villa mattered

it was just them their souls tied together in a way neither of them could deny

joy chuckled while kordell wiped the tears off her face which made him smile

"you sounded like you were proposing" joy said

"not yet" kordell chuckled

"aww your cute" joy smiled and mumbled pulling the boy's head down giving him a kiss on the cheek

believe in love again? that hit me so hard because I feel the same way
I came into this villa thinking you know I'd have fun, meet some people, maybe form a connection but didn't think I'd fall like this and I definitely didn't think I'd meet someone who makes me feel so safe, so wanted kordell isn't perfect and we've been through it but the way he looks at me, the way he fights for me... I've never had that before I don't know what's gonna happen when we leave here, but if there's one thing I do know? It's that I don't wanna do it without him"

JOY WAS NOW IN THE MAKEUP room taking off her makeup with the other girls sparking up conversation about the events that took place

"kass did you and rob kiss?" joy asked while putting her hair in a bun

"a little bit yeah" kassy said

after the other girls left the makeup room it was only joy and leah who were sparking up a conversation

"yo kordell said some emotional stuff today" joy said after successfully putting her pajama shorts on and a tank top

"you guys are so lucky you guys didn't let us spend a day in the hideaway together" joy chuckled

the two girls made their way to the shared room seeing everyone already in bed talking

joy smiled and jumped into the bed with kordell who was laying already

leah got into the bed beside joy's and kordell's with miguel who threw a pillow at joy

joy immediately looked up and threw the yellow pillow right back at him which made him laugh

the light then went dark and every couple was making out in bed except joy and kordell, leah and miguel

the two couple were looking across the room staring at everyone else who was kissing in shock

"dude.." joy whispered to leah and miguel who was covering their mouths with their hand

joy smiled widely once she seen kassy and rob kissing like there was no tomorrow

"y'all acting like y'all never kissed before" kordell whispered

"but it's time for bed" miguel whispered

"yeah it's time for bed so kordell goodnight" joy whispered

joy kissed the boys in the lips before moving her body to the side seeing leah was reaching her arm out

joy chuckled before giving the girl a kiss on the hand and that's when she laid down peacefully going into slumber

IT WAS FINALLY MORNING time in the villa and joy sat up and the bed while the window blinds opened apart

she yawned before looking over at kordell who still had his eyes closed

"you guys how are you feeling?" jana asked everyone in the room

"I feel good" leah said

"you joy?" jana said

"i feel so good" joy said rubbing her eyes

"oh my gosh positive energy i love that" jana said

joy chuckled before she laid back down pulling the blanket up laying her head on kordell's chest

kordell put his hands on her back and started rubbing down on her waist

kordell didn't say anything he continued to have his eyes closed

"I think his sleep jana" leah chuckled

"no he's not his literally rubbing down joy's ass crack right now" jana said which made everyone in the room laugh

joy stood up from the bed just like all the other girls were doing standing up from theirs

she made her way to the makeup room on nicole's back before they made it and nicole set her down laughing

joy made her way to the bathroom and started washing her face to wake up herself fully

she then went to brushing her tooth while sparking up conversation with kassy who was beside her doing the same

"nah like i know i forgave them casa girls that fast especially daniela but the thing is daniela didn't disrespect me, it was mostly sierra and now kaylor she just did me the same way sierra did over sum small thing" joy said

"she got slick with joy after joy just shook her head with saying a word" jana said

AFTER joy finished getting ready putting on a black bikini and straightening her hair she went outside downstairs to eat breakfast that kordell made her

she sat at the kitchen stool and started eating the eggs and avocado toast kordell made for her

"you had a argument with kaylor again?" miguel said sitting beside her which made her nod her head

"yes she started with me" joy said

"what happened?" miguel said

"she asked me if i seen her small dollar tree mirror and I shook my head and didn't talk and of course she took that like it was bad and i was trying her so she came at me like she's such an idiot" joy said as she picked up her water bottle drinking from it

"I know for a fact you guys will never forgive eachother" miguel chuckled

"yes.. like why did she choose me to beef with out of all people? like hello? daniela was here and she was all up in your man at casa but you didn't say anything to her? no offense to daniela if she's watching" joy said

"it's actually really crazy like I hate seeing you go off" miguel said

"i know but like im trying my hardest to go back to my old ways when I was peaceful and quiet" joy said

after joy finished eating breakfast she went upstairs to the balcony with nicole and kassy sitting at the beach chairs
