When I saw him walking towards my wife, my reflexes worked and I held his arm.

He looked at our hands and laughed.

" Woah looks like the book worm found her prince charming". He said and my jaw tightened.

The whole meeting I couldn't concerntrate on anything else other than those eyes.

I was a man who can do multitasking while concerntrating on every tast equally and here I was sitting for the meeting and my whole soul was left with certain someone.

Dad reexplained and I nodded.

" That will be Great, but I think ninety percent of customers being women we should send appreciative and thoughtful cards with the jewellery boxes, that will attract their attention anx make them feel Special". I gave my thoughts and dad looked impressed.

"Looks like the affect of Anshita". Mr. Deep said with a smirk.

" Ofcourse". I said giving back the same one.

His eyes widened, didn't expect me to be outspoken and straightforward.

After the meeting we came out to See dinner prepared in the dining room.

"Don't tell me Anshita made that, that's not her cup of tea". Why his every topic stills on her.

I clenched my fist, but calmed when I saw my wife coming downstairs with a bag.

She came towards us and forwarded the box to me.

I took it without Looking away from her.

"I got this for you, take a look". She said and I nodded.

When I Opened the box I found a tassel pin, crown shaped of gold.

She was Looking at me with anticipation.
Ansh took the box from and I heard whispers of praising in the background.

" Thank you". I said and she smiled.

"Just when I saw this I thought of you". She said and I felt important.

I looked at the guest, who was eyeing the gift with a strange smile.

When he went away, I entered the room to See my Mrs.Suryavanshi sitting on the dressing chair. Taking off her Jewellery.

" It wasn't that costly for a prince". She said, I shook my head with a smile.

"𝘿𝙞𝙡 𝙨𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙮𝙖 𝙝𝙪𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙧 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙯 𝙖𝙣𝙢𝙤𝙡 𝙝𝙖𝙞".

She stood up and walked in my direction.

"Viaan aftee the truth comes out, will you divorce me"? She asked.

I didn't know How to respond and what to.

Will I divorce her?

When I didn't reply she came closer, our chests touching. Our heartbeats in syne.
She touches our foreheads, the soothness and calmness engulfed my heart.

"𝘼𝙜𝙖𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙖𝙣, 𝙩𝙤𝙝 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙞𝙣 𝙠𝙤𝙞 𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙣𝙖 𝙙𝙞𝙟𝙞𝙮𝙚".

" (If yes, then don't give me any hope) ".

Her Voice was a whisper but I heard the loudness behind it.

Her words echoed in my head.

She backed off, and said.
" I never liked deep, he confessed his feelings for me on farewell. But I don't like him". I placed my finger on her lips, stopping her.

"You don't have to explain, anything, ever to me". I said and she nodded before lying on the bed.

" Also I was going to give that gift to you alone, but it was important to Show him we are happily married,.......even if we Aren't". She whispered the last part, I heard sadness behind it.

"You did Great job". I said, I didn't want to sound like I agree with the last part. But truth can't be hidden.

It was important for me to come out of my unrequired thoughts and feelings.

I walked in my study and sat there for almost 2 hours before coming back in.

She was already slept.

I covered her with a blanket.

And just like the previous night sat on the floor beside her side of the bed and laid my head beside her.

I didn't sleep on my side of bed last night, but I found myself more close to her.
Without giving false hopes to her and me

Getting even a moment with her is the only thing I can ask.

"𝘼𝙖𝙥 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙮𝙚 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙝𝙠𝙞𝙡 𝙗𝙖𝙙𝙖 𝙧𝙖𝙝𝙞 𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙣, 𝙝𝙪𝙢 𝙖𝙖𝙥𝙨𝙚 𝙠𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙤𝙧 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙚".

I can't find the answer, maybe never will.

I pecked her head and closed my eyes.
