After the first dinner feast all the students of the school were to go to their dorms. Amelia was accompanied by Lory, taking her to the Wampus dorms. Three people in a room were allowed, and Amelia already got Lory as her dorm mate.

     Another girl called Josette Bright, Jo for short, was also her dorm mate. Amelia sat on her bed examining her new wand grumpily. She didnt like the idea of her old wand taken away from her.

    "Come tell us what your wand says!" Lory chimed coming and sitting in front of Amelia excitedly.

THE WAMPUS HOUSE
The Ilvermorny house of Wampus represents the body and symbolizes the soldier. Wampus traits likely included are dependability, integrity, tenacity, adaptability, aggressiveness, and focus. These are people that are highly committed to what they do or what they believe and, therefore, are fairly self-confident people.

WAND

9½ inches long, made of fir wood and has a dragon heartstring core. The wand was very much like it's owner: elegant, refined and very powerful.

        Amelia read out the description, still dissatisfied with the new wand. Lory grinned telling her its a nice wand.

      "Thanks Lory, I am tired so would you mind?" Amelia asked indicating Lory to get off her bed so that she could sleep.

     "Oh yeah sure, Sleep well" Lory smiled getting up. Amelia quickly slipped in her covers before glancing at the other quite girl in the dorm who also was staring at her quitely, not in a creepy way.

      Amelia sighed as the lights were switched off, a bitter feeling again stricking her, her mind drifting to her family, they did not even try to contact her once. She knew she will have a very hard time adjusting here.

      Meanwhile thousands of miles away in a grim and old house a curly black haired wizard sat on the table with a large wine bottle in his hand staring at the picture of his wife and daughter.

      The next morning Amelia was woken up by loud music coming from downstairs. She groaned getting out of bed. "Shut up Gin–"

      She stopped in mid sentence realising what she was about to say. Jo stared at her coming out of the bathroom. Amelia avoided her eyes and cursed mentally. Back there at Grimmauld place Ginny was the one who always used to play loud muggle music early in the morning.

      Amelia went inside the bathroom getting ready quickly. She made a face of grimace before putting on the Ivormorny robes. Coming out of the bathroom she was greeted by a loud Lory, who was dramatically getting ready.

      "Hey Mornin' Amelia, you look good!"

     "Thanks" Amelia said with a small smile. "Where will I get my scheduel?"

      "Oh I'll take you there dont worry" Lory winked curling her blonde hair with her wand. Amelia muttered a 'Thanks' again.

      Both Lory and Amelia strolled through the halls downstairs, feeling several stares on her being the new girl. Lory took her to another hall where first years were already gathered. "Relax Kiddos! I wont feed your schedules to Mike, chill"

      Amelia's attention was gained by the same dark brown haired gril from last night, who was carrying a bundle of parchments with her, while Mike, her boyfriend walked behind her shaking his head smiling. She sat down in front of the hall, one by one handing the scheduels to the first years.

     Amelia stood far behind with Lory, and waited for her turn to come, everytime her eyes fell on the girl a sickening feeling arised in her heart, so she avoided her sight the whole time. The loud girl in the front joked once in a while making all the first years laugh, Amelia could tell she was a prankster too.

      "AMELIA BLACK" Amelia was brought out of her trance when she heard her name being yelled and was pushed forward by Lory to get her scheduel.

     Estella Hale stared at the approaching girl in front of her holding her scheduel. Amelia steadily walked towards the older girl, the pressure of gaze on her making a bit nervous. Her eyes fell on the tall boy behind who offered a polite smile.
  
      "Hey Amelia, did you like our school?" Mike asked smiling. Amelia smiled back reluctantly nodding.

     "Yes–" Amelia lied but was interrupted.

     "Hey Stella!" Lory chimed loudly. Estella moved her gaze from Amelia turning to Lory and smiling at her.

    "Hey Lory– How are you? I must say you've grown hotter" Estella said with a wink jokingly. Lory laughed.

     "Amelia Black your scheduel" Estella said turning back to Amelia handing her the parchment with a confused look. Amelia blinked a few times taking her scheduel from the girl.

     "Thanks" Amelia muttered but gasped  inaudibly when her finger tips slightly brushed against the hand of the girl, she felt a small jolt of electricity pass through her veins, Amelia looked up at the girl's face and found her already staring at her with the same shocked look. Amelia jerked her hand away from the girl and stormed off breathing out a 'thanks' Lory ran after her.

     "Hey what happened there?" Lory asked worried.

     "N-Nothing- just static, yes, I am fine, nothing to worry about" Amelia rambled. Lory nodded unsure.

     "Come let's give you are tour of the school, take out your map" Lory said interiwining her arm with Amelia's.

    "Map?" Amelia asked confused.

    "Yes, check in you bag, it must be there already, every Ivormorny student is given a map" Lory explained. Amelia dig her hands in her Ivormorny side bag and found a neat map in it. Lory smiled taking Amelia for the whole tour around the school.

     By the end of the day a tired Amelia from her classes and all the roaming sat in the Wampus common room with a Lory who kept ranting about every person who came into view. By now Amelia got to know over hundred people in the school, in just one day, all thanks to Lory.

     "You didnt say anything about Hogwarts, what its like there tell me" Lory urged. Amelia stayed quite a moment gulping and finding it hard to tell her anything about her family and past, because it would simply lead her to breakdown.

     "I-I had friends there, F-Fred and George were my bestfriends. Draco, my cousin, his friends were all very good friends of mine–" Amelia said trying to be steady.

     "Oh nice and what about your family?" Lory asked.

     "Family– um yeah, I have my father, godfather and uncle, and if you want me to talk about my whole family, then the whole weasley family and and my father's godson's friends, we all live together in my houe on vacations, so we are all kind of family" Amelia finished with a shaky voice and Lory could see slight tears brimming her eyed.

      "You miss them" Lory said with a weak smile.

     "No they were all very annoying, I am happy I am here" Amelia said trying to sound sarcastic but Lory gave her a sad look.

    "Dont look at me like th–" Amelia was cut off by Lory stepping forward bringing her in a warm comforting hug. Amelia hugged back swallowing all the tears back, shutting her eyes.

     "Its okay, If you ever feel sad remember I am here, afterall what are friends for" Lory said still hugging her. Amelia smiled at the sweet girl, she already found a good friend on her first day here while in Hogwarts it took her a while to do so.

      "Amelia that's the fifth boy you ignored" Lory groaned plopping herself beside Amelia. It had been a week now and in the new school Amelia had started catching several eyes. Several boys approached her trying to strike a conversation but she politely declined them all.

      "I did not ignore anyone" Amelia retorted.

     "Yes right– you simply said 'sorry I dont have time'" Lory mimicked her. Amelia rolled her eyes. Lory was another Pansy who was trying to set her up, while she herself hopelessly had eyes on one boy.

      "Did Jake agree to go with you?" Amelia asked changing the topic. Jake was Lory's crush and Lory was so eager on asking him out, and Amelia was quite sure she will get a yes.

     "Oh yes! – how did I even forget to tell you this!– he agreed! We are going to Berry's cafe on saturday– you should find yourself a date too, we can go on a double date" Lory said excitedly.

     "Another time Lory, I am not in the mood and also have totally forgotten what's going on dates was like" Amelia said her smile fading away. The last time she went on a date was two years ago with Cedric, her last date at the time of christmas.

      "You had someone before?" Lory asked curiously.

     "Yes" Amelia breathed out with a dry smile. And in an instant Amelia was bombarded with several question about who she was with.

     "There was a boy– Cedric– him and I dated for a year–" Amelia stopped herself from saying further, her eyes fell on the ring in her hand a small teary smile forming on her face. "I had the best time with him"

    "Is it from him?" Lory asked gesturing to the blue flowered ring in her hand. Amelia nodded with a weal smile. There was no night when she slept without thinking about him. Lory smiled at her, but her eyes fell in the background.

      "Hey Amelia look that boy is staring at you" Lory whispered. Amelia turned around with a scrunched face of grimace and saw a boy still staring at her like an idiot. She huffed turning back to Lory who laughed at the fed up girl.

     "Come let's get going to DADA" Lory said standing up chuckling. Amelia got up groaning both the girls making their way to the DADA classroom.

       "Oh look who decided to show up, very noble of you to join this soon Ms. Black and Ms. Johnson– You are both Twenty minutes late" The DADA professor, Edward Greyson mocked. He was in his fifties and was a very jolly person, but also very strict when it came to studies.

     "Uh professor its called being 'fashionably late'" Lory joked with a smirk entering the class, making everyone chuckle including the professor.

     "Ms. Black you fell in the wrong company since start, Johnson has a habit of being late since the day she stepped foot in Ivormorny" Professor said amused.

     "I think, I've found my soulmate professor" Amelia joked back. Lory grinned at her gratefully.

     The professor chuckled at the two girls and went back to the lecture. Meanwhile Amelia's eyes roamed for the assistant professor, who was nowhere to be seen. Everytime when Amelia attended the DADA class in this school Estella would always be there playing and joking around, cheering students up. But because of her absence the class was dead silent.

     "Lory" Amelia whispered gaining Lory's attention. "Where's um– Estella?"

     "Dunno, maybe on a date with Mike, he is also not around, it used to happen earlier also, both of them would disappear every month, their friends used to say they go on dates every month, isnt it amazing?" Lory explained excitedly. Amelia frowned not wanting to think what her mind was drifting to.

     The day went on Amelia didnt get the sught if bith Estella and Mike at all. Right now Amelia layed in her dorm with Lory who had a white face pack on her face because tomorrow was her date with Jake.

    A loud peck on their window gained their attention. "I think its an owl, will you check it please Amelia?" Lory asked lying on her bed.

    "Sure" Amelia said getting up going to the window and sliding the curtain to see actually an owl sat their with a parchment tied to its toe. Amelia took it from it and saw it was from Jake.

    "Oh Lory its for you from Jake–"

    "Really! Read it for me!"

    "Uh– I?– what if theres something personal?"

     "Dont Worry Lia, its not like we are having letter sex– and even if we were I wouldnt mind sharing it with you"
 
     A wide eyed Amelia gulped starting to read whatever was written in it.

As you know tomorrow's our date, a gift for you on your doorstep is placed, wear it for me tomorrow.

     Just as Amelia finished reading the letter Lory jolted up from bed squealing rushing towards the door opening it and picking up whatever was kept on the doorstep. Shrieks from outside could be heard, maybe people saw Lory's face.

    "Oh my god!– can you believe it– he is already so romantic!" Lory squealed unwrapping the box miserably. Jo on the other hand who also happened to be present in the room, soundlessly, shook her head going back to reading her book.

     "Its my favourite perfume with a cap! look at it Amelia– Gosh I already love him!"

     "Calm down Lory– people might think someone died here" Amelia tried to calm her down. But Lory ignored being on the ninth cloud right now.

     "Shut the hell up Lorelai" Amelia heard Jo speak for the first time ever in her seven days in Ivormorny. Now Lory had to shut up too, but she kept internally squealing still dancing.

    Amelia shook her head turning around to close the window behind her, but her eyes fell on something moving in the dark gardens outside. The full moon light was not bright enough to see whose figure it was.

    Amelia's breath hitched suddenly as something popped in her mind. She quickly wrapped her robes around her, wearing her slippers. "I'll be right back Lory, dont wait for me if I am late"

     Lory payed no attention because of her happiness but Jo did and frowned watching her go. A few minutes later Jo who stood at the window while Lory singing loud love songs in background, saw Amelia's figure waking towards the woods.

     "You shouldnt have gone there Amelia, you'll regret" Jo muttered to herself.

      "Is someone there?" Amelia called loudly her wand was lit up with the 'lumos" spell. The forest like place in which Amelia kept going in and in wasnt scary at all until Amelia started hearing loud howls and then suddenly a roar.

     "Oh shit– Its exactly what I thought it was" Amelia muttered to herself wide eyed. In an instant she was met with the sight of a black panther jumping in front of her. She gasped loudly gaining its attention.  

    The panther stood frozen on its four paws as if it was the panther who was in the dilemma. Amelia's stupid brave heart drummed wildly, wanting to explode through her chest. Her mind kept drifting to if only she could say her last goodbye to her family, even though she hated all of them at this point.

    Her legs went even more weaker when her eyes fell on a howling wolf which came behind the panther just a second ago. Oh and the wolf spotted her.

Good bye world.

     The wolf let out a struggling growl and the panther stood in front of the wolf jumping trying to gain its attention, but no– the wolf made a long jump coming right in front of Amelia. 3.. 2.. 1—Thud.

     Amelia screamed on the top of her lungs her eyes shut tightly as the last she saw was the wolf launching itself on her, her head hit something really hard. But she never felt the heavy weight of a wolf coming on her.

     With her head spinning wildly and eyes barely open she saw a human and a crashed down wolf on the other end before everything in front of her eyes went completely dark.
