"How are you now Amelia?" Amelia sighed on hearing her mother's voice and again found herself sitting in the same forest with her.

"I wouldnt say I am fine" Amelia replied in an uninterested tone. Her mother pursed her lips and made her head lay on her lap, soothing her hair.

"I am sorry for what happened" Sierra said in a small voice. Amelia bit the inside of her cheek not replying.

"I did not expect this from him" Sierra continued. "But I am sure Sev and Remus will take care of you much better than anyone can"

"Dont you feel mad?" Amelia finally spoke up staring above in the dark sky.

"About what?"

"That he – um He was –"

"He was with another woman?" Sierra complete her daughter's sentence with a small smile. Amelia stared at her face not seeing the expression she expected, but nodded nevertheless.

"No I am not mad at him for this" Sierra replied with a shrug.

"He cheated on you" Amelia said emphasizing each word. Sierra let out a chuckle at her defensive daughter.

"He did not, if I were alive and with him, and if he did that then it would be called cheating" Sierra explained. Amelia still remained unconvinced.

"No. If he loved you, he wouldnt go after anyone at. all." Amelia said. Sierra sighed.

"Okay what would you do now, after Cedric is not with you anymore, will you stay all alone forever now?" Sierra asked softly, Amelia frowned. Sierra widened her eyes slightly as Amelia was going to nod.

"Thats not how it works Amelia, you need to move on–"

"Why do we need to when we are perfectly fine without anyone else– look at Sev and Remus, I never saw a woman in their lives, EVER, and also I never heard if they had anyone before I was born- did they?" Amelia asked. Sierra's face twitched in a sad smile.

"They did –"

"See, they didnt move on, then why did he felt the need to move on!?"

"I think, you will understand with time, for now let it be–" Sierra said sighing with a small smile before being interrupted.

"Oh wait you said– They did– they had someone!?" Amelia asked curiously. Sierra chuckled.

"They had. Both of them. But you know no one stays forever–"

"Please stop with your riddles, I want names!" Amelia exclaimed earning another chuckle.

"Lily Evans was my best friend although she was a year above me, and Sev was totally in love with her" Sierra said with a soft laugh, Amelia watched her mother how happy she looked reminiscing the past. Ooh Sev in love, sounds so unreal.

"And what about Remus?" Amelia asked. Sierra's face crooked in another unreadable look, she inhaled sharply before replying.

"Remus was very shy in the case of girls, but he was completely in love with L–"

"Wake up Amelia!" Amelia jerked up with a gasp seeing her uncle sitting in front of her with a confused frown, she scoffed a bit, and sighed. Another dream, wait was it even a dream?

"Since when did you start sleep talking?" Sev asked monotone. Amelia looked down struggling with an answer.

"I dunno what you are talking about" Amelia said in a small voice not meeting his eyes, she felt Sev's hard gaze on her and tensed up. Is he again trying to read my mind!?

She looked up meeting his eyes, he held the same judgemental looks. Amelia's heart was drumming wildly.

"You are not allowed to read my mind–"

"Thats why you learnt occumelency secretly" Sev said slightly glaring at her.

"I did not! Who do you think would have taught me!?"

"Then why cannot I read your mind?"

"How would I know!?"

"You are hiding something from me Amelia, something big"

"I-I am n-not"

"You are lying"

"No. I am not lying Sev. I am not hiding anything!"

"I will find out–"

"What's going on here!?" Both Amelia and Sev turned to see Amelia's godfather standing at the door with an exclaimed look. Amelia jerked up running towards him to wrap her arms around him.

"I believe I told you to not trouble her" Amelia heard her godfather say to her uncle in a low tone.

"I believe looking after 'My Niece' is not troubling her" Sev replied in the same tone.

"Will you both please stop? I am hungry" Amelia said pulling slightly looking up at her glaring godfather, but his expression softened when he looked down at her.

"Fine, come" Remus said holding her hand and leading her downstairs, Sev followed both of them grumpily.

Amelia and Remus sat at the lunch tabel quietely eating, not engaging themselves in any topic, while Sev sat far away from them, but close enough from where he could see them both. He held a frown watching his niece, something was clearly fishy in his opinion, and he had to find out. He watched her every movement, her eyes staring blankly at nothing, her hands moving lazily, she lost focus a lot. He had to find out everything.

The shiny thing in her neck gained his attention, a blue emerald necklace, she had been wearing that for a really long time. Is something wrong with that? His eyes snapped when she got up and muttered something to Remus and went upstairs. Maybe she was resting again because now it had been half an hour since she left. Remus stayed still, reading a book in the corner of house. He obviously stayed for Amelia. Sev cleared his throat getting up going towards him.

"Lupin" Sev said monotone. Remus looked up at him. Why is this man so obsessed with being scaring people?

"Severus" Remus greeted back putting a bookmark in his book and shutting it knowing the man who stood glued in front of him had something to talk about.

"Have you noticed any certain change in Amelia's behavior since a few days? week? Months?" Severus asked controlling the curiousity in his voice. Remus fell into thinking after staring at the man. Ofcourse he has, but he didnt give much attention to it.

"I am afraid I cannot bear you more than an hour or two in a single day, so be quick" Sev said monotone, making sure to show his irritation for the werewolf. Remus gave him a deadpanned look before replying.

"Um maybe I have, and I have also heard about it from Sirius" Remus said, his tone getting a bit bitter at the mention of his best friend.

"Like what?"

"Er I havent witnessed it but Sirius told me one day she bursted out at him, broke all the glasses of the room without a wand or muttering any incantation, he also told me that he suspected something's wrong with her, she got really snappy and moody too" Remus replied still confused, while Sev looked deep in thoughts.

"I'll talk to the headmaster about it" And with that he left. Remus rolled his eyes going back to reading.

Days passed as the vacation came to an end, Amelia recovered a bit. Sev and Remus took good care of her. Now she had to go back to school.

"I wish you were there Rem" Amelia said slightly punching him while he stuffed her trunks packed.

"You have Severus there with you" He said with a small chuckle. Sev's head jerked up at the mention of his name.

"He is but I want someone supportive not cold and spooky" Amelia said in a little playful tone and missed the little hurt expression that striked Sev's face, which he quickly covered turning away.

"If your are done with you chattering we must leave because you have a train to board" Sev said monotonelously.

"I am done, why dont you accompany me on the train?" Amelia asked to Sev.

"I believe I told you years ago, I need to be present before any student steps foot in the castle" Sev said fixing his collar a bit.

"Fine then, Goodbye Remus, I'll miss you sooo much" Amelia said burying her face in his chest, hugging him tightly.

"I'll miss you too, so just keep writing, and take care" Remus said hugging back warmly.

"If your melodramatics are over I would not like to waste any minute further" Sev said interrupting the godfather-daughter moment.  Amelia rolled her eyes going to her uncle's side and left with him quickly for the king's cross section.

"Okay, So I am leaving, I am getting late" Sev said checking his pocket watch not even waiting a minite after they arrived.

"We are still ten minutes early" Amelia whined standing with her uncle on the crowded station, watching people run here and there, suddenly her eyes lit up as she spotted a familiar blonde head.

"Draco!" Amelia yelled causing the boy to turn and notice her. Sev groaned internally as he saw the whole Malfoy family approach. Shit.

"Amelia!" Draco yelled back grinning and running towards her to engulf her in a tight hug. Narcissa followed smiling, while Lucius with a smirk.

"How are you?" Narcissa asked with a smile, Amelia replied with a dry smile "Fine"

"That is good to know" Lucius Malfoy spoke up with a smirk gaining a glare from the black cloaked wizard.

"Hello, Mr. Malfoy" Amelia said with a polite smile extending her hand out, she never got a chance to introduce herself or greet him formally even after staying at his house.

"Pleasant to meet you again, Ms. Black" Lucius said shaking her hand firmly his eyes falling to the emerald stone in her neck causing his smirk to widen.

"Board the train Amelia" Sev muttered a bit harshly. Amelia wanted to scowl at him.

"You go I will board it with Draco, also you wete getting late, you can go" Amelia said to him.

"Make sure you are safe" Sev muttered to her in a low tone and stormed off.

"Ms. Black–" Lucius began but was interrupted by his wife.

"Come children board the train quick" Narcissa ushered them forward ignoring her husband's glare.

"Goodbye Mother and Father" Draco said formally with a slight bow. Amelia supresed her laugh.

"Bye Cissy" Amelia launched herself at the woman gaining a peck on forehead and boarded the train with her cousin.

"Harry, you cannot come to the prefects compartment!" Amelia froze on hearing a familiar voice and a familiar name. Draco sensed as she halted for a second.

"Dont bother Weaslebee, Pottah has a habit of stepping in the place where he is not required at all" Draco taunted bitterly turning around, Amelia groaned mentally wanting to run away and slowly turned around to see the chosen one was already staring at her intensely.

"Dont say when you dont know anything Malfoy!" Ron retorted turning his icy gaze on Draco.

"Draco lets leave" Amelia said quietely holding Draco's arm.

"Yes leave, because thats what you know perfectly, and then act all innocent to gain attention" Harry said hotly glaring at Amelia.

"Watch your mouth Potter–" Draco sneered almost launching himself at Harry.

"Draco please lets go just ignore them" Amelia exclaimed desperately holding him back.

"Oh so now you are gonna ignore us all, seriously Amelia! How childish you can be–" Ron exclaimed hotly.

"Leave it Ron, or she might create another scene and blame it over me" Harry interrupted his friend holding him back glaring at the raven haired girl.

"I would think twice before opening my mouth, if I were you Potter, and if you dont like the shape of yours I would love to change it" Amelia said in a low dangerous tone stepping forward staring dead in his green eyes.

"All you know is to hurt people who care about you both physically and emotionally" Harry said in the same tone their faces just inches away, glaring dead in each other's eyes.

"I dont care what you think" Amelia hissed and the last think she saw before storming off was an apologetic look from Hermione.

The rest of train ride Amelia spent staying insanely quite, she didnt talk and no one dared utter a word to her. Harry Potter's words ringed in her mind – she tried controlling her furious breathing– she was not the one who hurt anyone, that was the other way round. But everyone seemed to misunderstand her.

"Amelia! Ameliaa!" She jerked coming out of her trance realising the compartment was empty and train was at halt. Draco stood in front of her with a worried expression.

"Where are you lost at? We have arrived!" Draco exclaimed. Amelia inhaled sharply shaking her head muttering a sorry. She looked back at Draco when she heard him gasp.

"W-What are your eyes doing?" Draco asked slightly scared. Amelia frowned.

"What!?"

"I-I thought I saw them red" Draco said both confused and frightened.

"Shut up Draco" Amelia said nonchalantly picking her owl cage up and leaving the compartment.

As the students arrived back after the vacation at hogwarts they were again met with an awful sight of Umbridge who sat there like she owned the school and Dumbledore left shortly after the feast began. Busy man.

After the students dispersed and went to their dorms, Amelia found it again difficult to face the familiar faces of her housemates. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred and George, how will she live in the same common room as them? So to avoid all of them she quickly scurried to her dorm pushing past people not even looking up to see their faces and changed into her pajamas to slid under the covers.

She heard the door of the dorm open and close slowly, just by the clicking of the shoes she recognised who it was. Her head was already under the blanket and back facing to the door.

"I know you are not asleep Amelia" Hermione said quitely sitting on her bed softly. Amelia stayed quite.

"I am sorry for what happened, I really am, everyone is!" Hermione said in a urging voice. Amelia rolled her eyes at the word 'everyone'

"S-Sirius was really sad Amelia, he misses you" Amelia just wanted to slap the witch behind her.

"Kreacher used to fight with him everyday, both of them miss you very badly, I caught Kreacher crying many times in your room, Sirius was also nothing better, he regrets what he did Amelia, please forget what happened, give him a chance" Hermione's voice was getting more desperate at each word, while tears pooled in Amelia's bloodshot eyes with a clenched jaw. Hermione sighed on not getting any reply at all but continued nevertheless.

"He is your father Amelia, ofcourse he loves you, and yes more than Harry, having a few arguements saying some bitter lines wont break your relation, he will remain your father and you his daughter, hope you'll forgive him" Hermione finished with a sad smile which formed on her face because she heard Amelia sniff. Amelia tried really hard to not make any sound, but as her pillow got damper she just couldnt control it. She didnt know what Hermione was saying was right or not, but it hurt, she just couldnt understand why. It just simply hurt, and very badly.
