"Do you want to anything?" Sev asked his niece quitely. She shook her head not even sparing him a glance, laying on her bed staring outside the window. He sighed and left, she wouldnt speak to him, nor to anyone, it had been a week since that tragic night. The year came to an end. The students left for their houses for the summer break.

Cedric's funeral was conducted shortly after, Amelia couldnt go because she was in a very bad condition and under high fever because of crying the whole time.

She wouldnt come out of her room, would barely eat even after Sev insisted. He knew she was broken and would take a long time on coming to terms with the fact that the boy she loved died.

He sat in his office letting out an exasperated sigh, not knowing what to do so she atleast starts talking a bit. A thought popped in his mind, although he was not very pleased with it, but he knew it might work.

He quickly wrote a note to Remus Lupin, telling him to come over.

Remus was a better person in comforting people, something Sev could never do at all.

In less than an hour there was a knock on the door at the spinners end. Sev quickly got up and opened the door.

"In her room" Sev said not bothering to even greet him. Remus nodded and went upstairs to Amelia's room to find her laying on her bed, staring at the ceiling blankly. He saw how weak she looked her eyes had bags under them. He would have came to her the same night but he was dealing with his full moons problems which stay a few days before and after the full moon.

He quitely approached her with a small sad smile on his face. She didnt eve notice he sat beside her on her bed.

"Hello Amelia" He whispered with a small smile. She didnt reply. Earlier whenever she used to see him, it was her tradition to tackle him in a large bear hug, but right now she didnt even dart her eyes towards him.

"How are you Am?" He asked placing a hand on her head softly. She let out a croaked hum.

"Did you eat anything?" He tried to make her say something. She hummed again shortly.

"But I bought your favourite sweeta, I am sure you would want to have them" He said smiling brightly at her but her blank expression made his face to melt in a sad smile.

"You dont want to even talk to me?" He asked trying to sound offended. She turned slightly to look at him.

"Hi" She said in a raspy voice looking up at him. He passed her a wide smile hoping she would reflect one back, but she didnt.

"Um- chocolate?" He asked quickly digging one out.

Before she could respond he unwrapped it and handed it to her. She casted her eyes down at the chocolate in her hand. He urged her to atleast take a bite, she took a very small one before keeping the chocolate bar back in his hand. Remus sighed.

"Amelia would you like to have anything else, anywhere to go, or anything, tell me please, just dont stay quite–"

"I want a dreamless sleep potion" she said, her voice not the best. A hurt and worried look stricked Remus' face.

"Are you getting nightmares?" He asked worried. She stayed quite. His mouth parted, he thought maybe she wants it because she was getting nightmares about Cedric's death.

"Does Severus knows?" He asked. She stayed quite again.

"I will tell him to get you one right now–" he said standing up.

"Tell him to make other one, the earlier one's didnt work" She said stopping him. Remus stared at her worried, he nodded reluctantly and quickly descended down to Severus' room to find pacing restlessly in his room.

"Severus" Remus said stopping him.

"Lupin, did she talk? Does she wants anything?" Severus asked hastily.

"She wants you to make another dreamless sleep potion, the earlier ones didnt work" Remus informed staring at him.

Severus breathed out before turning quickly to grab the ingredients from the shelves. Remus fell into thinking.

"Severus?" Remus called.

"What?" Sev asked not turning around.

"Um I think, she should go out a bit, maybe new place filled with people, it'll help lighten her mood" Remus suggested gaining a look from Sev as if he asked for both his kidneys.

"She is not in the condition to socialize you freak!" Sev hissed going back to his work.

"Severus you are not understanding, let her breath outside, she will definately feel good, dont you know she loves outing" Remus tried to convince him.

"Where are you planning to take her?" Sev asked glaring at him.

"Um maybe to her fathe–"

"You are out of your mind" Sev interrupted him harshly.

"Severus just think of it once, the last time when she was with her father, i was there too, she was loving it there, and also weasleys could come over, it wont be a problem, she is good friends with them" Remus urged.

Severus thought for longer than he should, he wanted her to be alright but he definately didnt want her to go back to her father, never. But what Remus was saying was also right, she might feel good with those weasley twins. He met Remus' expectant gaze.

"Fine" He muttered monotonously.

"Thanks, I will pack her stuff, you prepare the potion quickly–" Remus said happily before being interrupted.

"Who said you are leaving just yet, you can leave tomorrow, she will stay here today, and I will come to that wretched house daily, I better find her good, or I am taking her back" Sev said glaring at him.

"Very well, Thanks Severus" Remus said with a small smile and left for Amelia's room. Upon entering he found her sound asleep with a frown on her face. He sighed pursing his lips, his eyes fell on a shining ring in het hand, he wondered if a friend gifted her that, it was cute.

The next day Sev was packing a whole box of dreamless sleep potions for his niece as she was leaving today. He didnt want her to go, but for her coming out of this trauma this needed to be happened.

Remus was upstairs packing Amelia's stuff, while she aimlessly stared at him. Dark circles under her eyes due lack of sleep. She gave up crying a couple of days ago, her eyes were dried, she was tired of crying. Although every cell of her body missed him, her mind was always occupied with his thoughts.

"Sev agreed?" She asked in a small voice. Remus jerked towards her.

"Yes he agreed, he wants you to have a good time" Remus replied with a smile, she gave a short nod slowly darting her eyes out of the window.

"Come" Remus said with a wide smile picking her trunks up. She stood up slowly descending the stairs, Remus following her shortly behind.

"Take care, Write me if you need anything, anytime" Sev said with a concerned look. Although Amelia used to desperately crave for that one look from him, but right now it only made her feel awkward and weak. She didnt like those sympathetic eyes.

She nodded at him, but was surprised when sev pulled her in a hug. Muttering a 'take care' and let her go slowly. Having shared one last glance, Amelia left with Remus for her father's house. Remus apparated them to the Grimmauld Place, making poor Amelia feel like throwing up.

He quickly apologised seeing her reaction, she inhaled deeply to ease the feeling arising in her chest and and shook her head at him. He held her hand and took her inside the Noble house of Black.

Amelia heard her father yell at the elf, while Remus facepalmed in the background.

"YOU AWFUL ELF, DONT YOU DARE OPEN YOUR FILTHY MOUTH IN FRONT OF MY DAUGHTER OR I WON'T THINK TWICE BEFORE BURNI–Amelia!"
