It was pouring heavily today morning and all the students were gathered in the hall where the goblet of fire was placed.

Amelia stood outside the ravenclaw common room waiting for her old friends to come out. She promised she would go with them to the great hall.
All of them stepped outside.

"Hey Amelia" Fleur said coming forward hugging her.

"Hi, ready?" She asked smiling at them.

"Yep, i am gonna enter, is your pretty boy entering too?" Fleur asked wiggling her eyebrows.

"I dont know, we are not on talking terms right now" Amelia said with a small smile. Her eyes fell on an asian girl who smirked at her, Amelia furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"Come lets go then" Fleur said pulling her with herself.

Amelia sat there with her beauxbatons friends watching students of different school putting their names in the goblet. Amelia smirked to herself knowing her plan from last night worked.

There was no sign of Cedric. She sighed in relief. Fleur put her name in the goblet, Amelia cheered for wholeheartedly.

It was not like she didnt care for her. She obviously did but Cedric was now more closer to him than Fleur. He was different.

Victor krum came with many Drumstrang students cheering behind him. He put his name in the goblet of fire and then turned to the other direction smirking at someone.

Amelia noticed it and furrowed her eyebrows, who was he smirking at? What is it with Drumstrangs students and smirking all the time.

The twins came shouting and cheering that they have found a way. Amelia decided to stay quite and enjoy the show. She knew their this plan was not going to work, so she let them do it happily.

They drank the potion prepared from last night by Amelia. And thwn jumped inside the lining around the goblet of fire and put their names in it. They cheered on their stupid victory untill they started growing grey beard same as dumbledore.

The whole hall burst out laughing at them. They sat their bewildered at what happened, no one could just control their laughs.

They came towards Amwlia glaring at her, she tried to suppress her laughs but couldnt help at the sight of them.

"What is this" They both said in unison glaring at her, Amelia just continued laughing.

"Its the effect of the aging potion, you both look pretty.. old" Amelia said laughing hysterically.

"We look the same age as dumbledore" George exclaimed offended.

"Then go make friends with him" Amelia said her cheeks aching.

"Come one Cedric just put it in it" Someone cheered, Amelia shot up at the mention of the name. The three of them shared looks of what was happening.

They saw cedric step inside the hall, all drenched with his friends. His friends cheering after him. He halted for a mini second passing Amelia a sly smug look.

"What the hell is this? Did you two not understand your task?" Amelia hissed at the twins. Meanwhile Cedric put his name in the goblet.

"We did it flawlessly, we dont know how he managed to escape it" Fred exclaimed himself shocked.

"I will deal with you later" Amelia hissed at both of them getting up leaving.

"Wait What about this beard?" George called.

"You deserve it" she called angrily before running out of the hall.

"Your tricks didnt work huh?" She heard him called behind. She halted slightly fuming and turning around to face him his arms folded.

"What are you talking about?" She asked knowing very well what he was talking about.

"Well bribing the twins for a potion for locking me inside my dorm, wasnt a good trick" Cedric said suggestively stepping forward in her direction.

"I dont know what are you talking about, and even if thats so you still managed to put your name in it afterall." Amelia said looking away folding her arms.

"Yep, i told you already no one was going to stop me from doing it" he said tilting his head.

"Good for you" Amelia said not meeting his eyes.

"So will you not congratulate me?" He asked mocking her.

"Well congratulations Cedric Diggory, you successfully managed to get yourself in trouble" Amelia said hotly glaring at him. She jerked around and started leaving before being stopped by his hand holding hers.

"Are you still going to stay mad at me?" His asked his voice soft, Amelia didnt turn around to face him.

"Always"

She heard him sigh behind her and slowly let go off her hand. She still stood there waiting for him to speak something.

"I just wanted to make my dad proud" he said quietely.

"Well you could do that without risking your life" Amelia said still mad turning around.

"please dont begin with it again, i already had your whole lecture yesterday" He said desperately.

"Then what do you want me to do, wear posters saying 'support cedric diggory' " Amelia said he sighed once again looking down.

"Fine i am sorry i'll just leave" He said looking up a bit hurt. He turned around leaving, Amelia took a deep breath before running after him hugging him from behind.

"You are an idiot Cedric diggory. You think i am mad, i surely am but thats because i dont want you to get hurt" She said quietely still hugging him. He held her hands on his chest, and she could feel him smile.

"I promise i'll take care" he said turning around cupping her face.

"Dont do that i am not a baby" She said swatting his hands away making him chuckle.

"I am not a baby either, i can take care of myself" He said poking her nose, Amelia glared at him playfully.

"Fine then dont come to me crying when you die" Amelia said sarcastically shaking her head moving forward.

"I promise i wont" he joked back.

"Btw how did you manage to come out of your dorm?" Amelia asked looking up at him.

"Top secret"

Amelia was on her way to her dorm after a long day. Because of Cedric putting his name in the goblet she had been anxious the whole, herself not knowing the reason for her anxiety.

Suddenly she felt herself bump into a figure harshly. She groaned rubbing her head and looking up who it was and met the sight of her uncle.

He glared down at her before turning to leave. Amelia scowled watching him turn, he didnt even utter a word to her, since she has been back from vacation.

"Sev" she called making him stop. She half smiled before running in front of him.

"That will be ten points from gryffindor, for calling a teacher by his name" He said monotone. Amelia's mouth parted in disbelief. He started moving again but Amelia stopped him.

"Are you mad at me?" She asked meeting his eyes.

"Leave my way" he sneered.

"Sev please, i am sorry, i know i was wrong to runaway, but you wouldnt let me out a bit, i was suffocating in the house, i really wanted an outing" Amelia said a bit desperately.

"And what you got from the outing even after i warned you" He hissed at her.

"I am sorry- wait did you know something was going to happen?" Amelia asked confused. She saw his expression change to something unreadable.

"I dont have time for you stupid queries" he hissed moving away.

"You knew there was an attack going to happen" Amelia called running after him.

"You better stop bothering me Ms. Black or you may serve a month of detention" he hissed at her. She clenched her jaw following him till dungeons.

She barged in after him in his office before he could even shut the door at her face.

"This is an outrageous act strutting in the office of a teacher without permission" he hissed his fists balling.

"Listen to me once" Amelia urged.

"I have no time to listen anything" he snarled.

"I got hurt" she blurted and took a pause waiting for him to say something. But he stayed quite and for a mili second she saw his face soften.

"I got hurt here, see, someone attacked me from behind, they threw something hard at my head, i was passed out in that burned place, i dont know how they even managed to find me, it hurt for many days" Amelia said lacing her voice with pain, wanting to have an effect on him, but he stood with a blank face.

For a moment Amelia saw his face soften and become concerned. She internally smiled for her good acting. He started moving forward toward her, Amelia passed him a small grateful smile, before he clutched to her arm and dragged her out of the office shutting the door at her face.

Amelia stood scowling outside his office at what just happened. Did he seriously just kick me out even after i told him what happened with me? She thought to herself in disbelief.

"You are a heartless prick Sev" She yelled kicking at the door fuming and leaving dungeons.

"Amelia" she heard herself being called by a familiar voice. Turning around she saw her cousin waving at her indicating for her to join him.

He sat with a few people from Drumstrang. Amelia made her way towards him slightly smiling and seated herself beside him.

"Hello Draco" she said softly smiling. Draco rolled his eyes at her. She gave him the 'we are with new people i have to act' look.

"Guys this is my cousin, Amelia Black" Draco introduced her. The same boy who smirked at her that night held his hand out for her.

"Ivan Schmidt, pleasure to meet you" he said taking her hand and kissing it lightly. Amelia exchanged glances with her cousing who quirked an eyebrow suggestively.

"The pleasure is all mine" Amelia said smiling, her eyes falling on her hand which was still in his grip. He sensed her gaze and let go off her hand chuckling nervously.

"I saw you the other day, talking to beauxbatons girls, you seemed quite friendly with them" he said in his heavy irish accent.

Stalking me were ya? She thought to herself internally smirking. But managed to plaster a polite smile.

"Yes, i got transferred to Hogwarts a year ago from there" Amelia said with a small smile.

"Why?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Trust me brother you wouldnt want to know" Blaise said snorting, Amelia passed him a glare. Ivan chuckled lightly.

"So Ivan, did you put your name in the goblet?" Amelia asked changing the subject trying prevent embarrassment.

"Yes, i did, i do hope i get in" he said with weird confident tone, making Amelia and other internally cringe.

"Surely you will" Amelia said smiling.

The other day was a havoc, dumbledore announced the triwizard champions. Cedric got in much to Amelia's dismay. But the shocker of the day was Harry potter getting in too.

The whole school had been accusing him of cheating and all he wants is attention. He had been in a foul mood all day, and most of the time ended up bursting out at people.

His best friend Ronald, was mad at him. While Hermione was confused, she couldnt blame him either.

Amelia sat in the common room with the twins when suddenly Neville Longbottom showed up in front of her.

"Yes Neville?" She asked with a small kind smile.

"Um someone told me to give this to you" he said shyly handing her a parchment. Amelia frowned but instantly her frown turned into a small smile when she saw the writing inside it.

~Meet me in the kitchen at midnight~

"Okay thankyou Neville" she said smiling, Neville nodded and left while the twins eyed her in suspicion.

"What? Its just a note from my beauxbatons friends" Amelia said acting casual.
