AMELIA STOOD DRESSED IN BLACK FOR TODAY'S FUNERAL CEREMONY.

A funeral ceremony for all the war martyrs was to be held today. And Amelia stood in her room in Sev's old personal quaters in dungeons. Her room had been the same as ever she left the last time which was years ago.

But the pain from yesterday didnt end today, all of them had to face their dead loved ones for one last time and everyone was heartbroken. Even after lots of encouraging to herself to face everyone, Amelia couldnt compose herself, she could not face Fred, Tonks, Mike, she didnt had the courage to.

And she also knew she wasnt the only one, all the students of hogwarts were getting ready in their dorms for today's funeral ceremony. Amelia's heart ached after being informed that Andromeda will be arriving with Teddy soon for her daughter's funeral.

Amelia was dressed up in a black plain dress, which reached her knees and her hair left open. She tried very hard to cover her tear stained cheeks and puffy red eyes, and dark bags under them, but didnt mind if they showed because besides her everyone looked like this.

"Amelia, are you ready?" Lory called from the other spare room knocking on her door. Amelia glanced at the clock, it was 11:35 a.m. the funeral ceremony was to be started by twelve o'clock.

Amelia let out an exasperated sigh before glancing at her reflection in the mirror and turning towards the door twitching the doorknob. Lory stood there with a small warm infectious smile, which Amelia forced back. Both the girls made their way outside.

Even today's weather was ready to pour, dark clouds covered the castle, it could rain anytime soon, and all the families which were again gathered and crowded the ground standing near the coffins of their family members, friends they lost.

Weasleys stood near Fred's, Remus and everyone near Tonks', Estella sobbing standing beside Lyra, and many more. Meanwhile Amelia pondered where to go, she couldnt decide who among those three was more important to her, Mike had been playing the role of her elder brother since two years, Tonks was also like an older sister to her the whole time while she stayed at Grimmauld Place.

Then there was Fred who had been everything, supportive as a friend, protective as a brother, possessive as a boyfriend, everything. He was her bestfriend since the first day ever she met him. Him and George both, but there was something completely different about Fred, and she knew she was more attached to him than she was to George.

Sighing she darted her eyes away only to let them fall on another broken family, she didnt know who they were, she peeked a little to see who was layed in their coffin, it was Lavender Brown. A sharp gasp escaped Amelia's lips as she saw her ex-roommate, she didnt even know about her being one of the martyrs.

Lavender and Amelia were not even friends, both argued, and truly despised each other, Lavender always hated Amelia from the beginning for being Sirius Black's daughter, and eventually the feelings became mutual. But today it ached Amelia to see her there, quite and unmoving.

Amelia knew at that moment, deciding to come to this ceremony was a bad idea. She could not take this anymore, she could not see the people laying dead and silent, whom once she saw talking, joking and laughing around, she could not do this.

"Settle down please" Someone from the stage announced, Amelia assumed the person to be Professor Slughorn.

Everyone settled down and the ceremony began with Mcgonnacal addressing the crowd with a heartfelt speech mentioning the loss and the victory from yesterday. Amelia barely listened, she sat between Lory and Estella and Lyra to the other side of Estella, with her whole family.

Their attention was gained by a someone coming and sitting beside Lory, Amelia turned to see it was Andromeda, her eyes puffy and dark, and then her eyes fell on the little one month old baby in Andromeda's arms, sleeping peacefully with a little smile on his face, his little blue hair were the brightest thing in the whole place.

Amelia's throat went dry, not being able see her godson anymore, she somewhat had the idea and related a lot with what Teddy might face now, like him Amelia's mother too died when she was barely an year old, leaving her to Remus and Severus, but unlike her, Teddy had his whole family, except for his mother.

As Mcgonnacal's speech ended many people were left in tears, Amelia didnt have to turn to see who was crying and who was not, both the girls beside her were sobbing quitely, but Amelia stayed silent, she did not have any tears left now, but that didnt mean she was not broken.

Soon one after one many families gave their speeches about their loss and hoping for their loved ones to rest in peace, Molly, Estella, Remus, and then Andromeda after handing Teddy to Amelia went over to give their speeches, with tears continuosly streaming down their faces. Amelia promised to herself to not listen to those heart wrenching notes she was tired of breaking down.

"Now I would like to request you all to get up and conduct the funeral rites of your late dear ones" Mcgonnacal announced and people started getting up, the weather was even more darker now, the clouds were making loud grumpling and thundering sounds.

Amelia saw a little raindrop fell on Teddy's head causing him stir and scrunch his face in annoyance, it was soon going to rain Amelia turned to Andromeda and saw she was sobbing already and knew she had to participate in Tonks' last rites.

"Andy, I think its going to rain, so I am taking Teddy in" Amelia said quitely with a calm face gaining a sniffing nod from the older woman. Amelia led the little baby inside the castle, near enough where she could see the back of the crowd.

She felt a little lighter going away from the place as she could not handle herself and watch the people's last rites. Suddenly Teddy let out a small cry, instantly opening his eyes, Amelia smiled seeing this time his eyes were bright blue.

"Hey baby" Amelia whispered with a weak smile, but Teddy didnt seem in a good mood instead he started wailing loudly, Amelia tried her best to sush him but he wouldnt. Soon it started pouring heavily, with loud noise.

"Teddy look its raining see" Amelia chimed but the little boy wont stop, Amelia felt little stinging of tears in her own eyes seeing him cry like that "So you know that your mum is there.. and now you wont stop crying"

Tears dropping from his eyes didnt stop, Amelia's heart wrenched even more "Teddy, Mum wont be happy if she saw you crying like this– she will feel bad– Do you want her to feel bad because of you?"

In a while Teddy actually stopped with his tears pooling eyes, and stared at her as if listening her every word, a weak smile crept on Amelia's face and she carried him to the stone pavement and settled down with him in her lap.

"Do you know I have also cried so much yesterday, so much, want to know why?" She whispered to him having his whole attention "Because I have also lost too many people yesterday, all the people I loved so much, I am also sad because now I will never meet them again, they will not come back"

"You know your mum was such a good friend of mine, she was the one who decided to make me your godmother, so that if something happens to her then I will take care of you and you know what– now I will be the best bloody godmother in the whole world" Amelia said changing expressions making the little boy smile.

"I will do everything for you" Amelia whispered with a weak smile pressing her lips to the baby's forehead. The pouring was still going on as she saw looking up, but suddenly her eyes fell on the last person standing in the crowd who was easily recognisable because he was a platinum blonde haired boy.

But wait what was he doing here?

Amelia stood up going forward, she knew there was no sense in calling him loudly, because her voice won't reach him and she will end up scaring Teddy. She brought her wand out and glanced at her godson mischeviously "Lets do some magic Teds"

She pointed her wand at a little pebble and flew it towards the large crowd letting it hit Draco's head a bit harshly. She saw he turned around as the pebble collided with his head and wildly waved her hands gaining his attention. She gestured him to come over knowing he recognised her.

"You are gonna meet one more family member baby" Amelia said a little excited. Draco came running towards her inside, fully drenched because of the heavy rain. He panted on stopping in front of her and gave her a skeptical look eyeing the blue haired baby in her arms.

"Teddy this is Draco your second cousin and Draco this is Teddy, my godson" Amelia introduced with a smile, Draco grew more bewildered.

"Cousin? Godson? Teddy!?" He exclaimed.

Amelia rolled her eyes telling him about the little boy, Draco's mouth parted in disbelief getting to know the whole relation. "T-This child— oh jesus!"

Amelia gave him the look as he was way too much bewildered with the fact, but then remembered what he was doing here in the first place "Why have you come?"

"Er just like that.."

"Yeah you go in funerals for fun"

"I just came to take my stuffs from my dorm" Draco said shortly looking away but Amelia saw his eyes were red.

"You were crying" She stated and saw him freak out.

"What!?– no– do you think I ever cry?– its just rain—"

"You were crying Draco" Amelia said again simply and he turned away briskly wiping his damp face aggresively.

"Who did you come for?" Amelia asked softly going forward. He took a while before replying.

"Fred"

A weak smile formed on her face "Why him?"

"They were funny, I liked the twins" He said in a really small voice not meeting her eyes, and she let out a teary chuckle.

"I am glad you came" She said going forward bringing him in a hug, ignoring the fact that he was still drenched. He hugged back stiffly trying not to touch the little baby in her arms. Amelia rolled her eyes and handed Teddy to him in a swift movement startling him and saw his eyes almost popping out, she let out a soft laugh.

"Amelia!– no!– its a baby!"

"I know" Amelia said still laughing.

"Oh god– take him back– take him back– I cant!" Draco yelled worriedly while Amelia continued to laugh, Teddy started crying because of his yelling.

"Look you made him cry"

"Then take him back– take him"

"No– you made him cry, you are suppossed to sush him"

"Amelia!" He whined desperately Amelia just folded her arms stepping backwards, and saw how badly Draco struggled, she chuckled befote saying "Talk to him, he likes talking to people"

"Er Hi, I am Draco Malfoy, My father works in the ministry—" Draco was interrupted by Amelia laughing out loudly clutching to her stomach. Draco gave her a deadpanned look but was soon surprised when the little baby in his arms stopped crying.

"You are an idiot, what do you think he will do after knowing your father works in the ministry– send his resume?"

"Shut up" Draco grumpled handing the baby back to Amelia, but both squealed as Teddy's hair changed to Draco's platinum blonde.

"Wow, he already likes you" Amelia said impressed. Draco's face actually lit up.

"Thanks Bud" Draco said with a little grin looking down at him.

They sat down back on the seat where earlier Amelia sat, both held a comfortable silence, listening to the sound of rain watching the crowd at a distance. After a little while Draco decided to break the silence.

"So where are you going to live now?"

Amelia turned and stared at him, she never really thought about the question. Spinner's end or Grimmauld Place. Maybe Grimmauld Place because there is her whole family, but then she thought about Sev who will be left alone in Spinner's end.

"Lets see" She said with a shrug. Then she remembered something else and started telling him about Lyra, Draco shook his head in amusement what she was capable of doing.

"Oh hey Blondie!" Both of them turned to see Lory standing their closing an umbrella, Draco gave her a look of distaste, but she didnt seem fazed and approached them sitting beside Amelia.

"I am Lory Johnson, from Ivormorny, Thanks for yesterday" Lory said holding her hand out with a bright smile as Draco was taking too long to reply and shake her hand, Amelia glared at him.

"Draco Malfoy" He said shortly shaking her hand. Lory rolled her eyes at him and then turned to Amelia.

"This is guy seems so moody" Lory said ignoring the fact that Draco was listening to her, and continued "But whatever, I came here because now everything is done, and we are going home"

Amelia felt a little knot build in herself on hearing that word. Home. She never had a fixed home, the only place she was close to calling home was Spinner's end, because she grew up there, and then also she knew the place where your real family lives is called your home.

But whenever she thought family, Sev's name was the first one to pop in her mind, not Sirius', not Remus'. All three of them stood up going there, this time Draco casted an umbrella shield above them preventing themselves from getting drenched. Draco left quickly because he didnt want anyone to know that he came to participate in the funeral.

"Thankyou for taking care of him Amelia dear" Andromeda came forward giving her a light kiss on forehead and taking a sleeping Teddy from her arms.

"Come we are going home" Estella came towards Amelia holding her hand with a small weak smile and pulled her towards the whole group.

Approaching the whole group Amelia saw again, Remus and Lyra talking to each other a little shyly and both seemed overwhelmed, the weasleys were busy calming Molly down, and then her eyes fell on her father, who was busy hugging the potters.

"Come Estella Amelia, we are going home" Lyra called as her eyes fell on the girls. Meanwhile Amelia was busy searching for her uncle with her eyes.

Lyra held Amelia and Estella's hand with a teary smile, Amelia forced a smile back, she was debating within herself about what to do. Even after so much resisting her eyes kept falling  on her father who was so busy with the Potters, and it was making her blood boil.

He was repeating the same thing over and over again, she now knew she was never going to be his priority as she expected to be, in her view she no longer was Remus' priority either, his children had become his priority now, and it ached her to think so, but that was the truth.

Earlier she was Remus' everything, just like Sev's but now the things have changed, even though Remus had not shown that he preferred Teddy and Estella over her, but she was not going to wait for that to be shown, she was not going to wait to get hurt, so instead she decided to clear her way from there.

She never had Sirius' whole attention or love, but now she was losing Remus' too, she feared that, she knew she should stay where she is the first choice, that might sound a little egoistic to herself, but that was the right way, since her childhood she has been taught by Sev stay where you are valued the most, where you are not given the second position, and she knew where she was always the first and remain the first.

With Sev, her uncle.

Holding soft smile she turned to her aunt "Lyra I am not coming home"

Lyra furrowed her eyebrows at her "Why?– what happened? Why are you not coming to our home?"

"I am going to my home, the place where someone will want me, not where there no one wants me" Amelia said with a calm smile her gaze falling on her father and the Potters, Lyra followed her gaze and her mouth parted in disbelief.

"What are you.." Lyra trailed off, a concerned look striking her face. Amelia reached forward to hug the woman and whispered "Dont worry, this is not something new, also I dont want Sev to be alone, besides when you reach Grimmauld place you'll know how much I am missed"

Amelia pulled away no hint of hurt or hatred on her face just a small smile. Lyra stared at her worried, Amelua stepped back with a last smiling glance and left.

Lyra watched her go not realising she was being pulled by Estella towards the group, her eyes were fixed with a hurt look on the girl going further inside the castle. She knew something had been really wrong the whole time and it needed to be fixed.

"What are you doing here?" Sev asked raising an eyebrow as his niece stepped in his office and sat infront of him uninvitedly.

"When do we leave for Spinner's end?" She asked ignoring his question.

"Spinner's end?– I suppose you were leaving with your family–"

"I am with my family"

A small surprised smile crept on his face before he said "We'll go home in an hour"
