"I AM SORRY SEV BUT I HAVE A DATE WITH FRED AND I AM LATE!"

Amelia Black yelled rushing down the stairs pulling her side bag, readied for her 'date' with her 'bestfriend' Fred Weasley. Meanwhile Sev stared with wide horrified eyes watching her storm out of the door.

Its has been whole two weeks since the final battle ended and now everything was back to normal. The funeral of wizards and witches who died in the war was conducted the next day. Amelia had been in a really bad state that day, because of the loss of Tonks' and Mike. Fred wad the one who found her sitting in an empty corridor crying her eyes out.

Her comforted her the whole time and also let her sleep on his shoulder for hours after calming her down. When she woke up, she was again asked by him about the date and she said yes. And now today not-so-punctual Amelia was late for her date, even though she decided the date and time.

"I am really sorry Fred– I overslept!– I am really sorry—" As soon as he came into sight she started apologising but she was interrupted by him pulling her in his chest, placing a chaste kiss on her cheek while letting her go.

"I have waited years for you, twenty minutes is nothing in front of it" He said softly with a smile, causing her cheeks to flare up lightly.

"Dont be a cheeky hopeless romantic– we have a date on" Amelia said shaking her head moving forward resisting a large smile.

"But I cant stop myself from saying you look extremely beautiful today" He called with the largest grin, and knew her face was all red even though he could not see it.

Reaching to the place of their date, Fred let Amelia order first and ordered the same for himself. Amelia couldnt help but blush at the small things he did in every little while to impress her. After they finished eating, Amelia pulled out the money to pay, but before she could do it, Fred already payed with a tip.

"You should have let me pay it!"

"No I dont think its good manners when boys let girls pay" He said shrugging innocently.

"Why cannot girls pay?– do you think girls are not capable of paying?–"

"Okay fine, you can pay on our next day" He said with a grin.

"Oh so I am booked for another date?" Amelia asked raising an eyebrow playfully. He only grinned in response.

Both left the place and were now roaming in a small wizarding garden, Amelia felt Fred's fingertips colliding with hers, turning and looking up at him she saw his face was weasley red, he was trying to hold her hand. She contained her blood rush and slipped her hand in his interwining their fingers, both pretended to not notice it and kept looking in different directions hiding their blush.

Amelia never thought Fred could make her blush so much, maybe she was too much in love with Cedric to see it, but now getting to know this different side of Fred made her feel something totally different. By the evening Fred dropped Amelia at Spinner's end.

"I really enjoyed today" Fred said sheepishly scratching the back of his head, the dusk sunlight making his face appear more red. Amelia gulped with a large smile and got on her tip toes, planting her lips on his cheeks.

"I did too" She whispered pulling away. He grinned down at her and suddenly all his limbs worked automatically to pull her against him by waist leaning down to claim her lips softly. He held the kiss for a short while resisting to melt down in it, while Amelia's stomach did somersaults.

He pulled away slowly still not letting go, and stared in her eyes as they opened slowly, fearing if he committed a wrong move, but Amelia's blush said otherwise "Goodbye Fred, I'll leave our next date for you to plan"

And with that she went in leaving him there frozen watching her go, after a while his eyes fell on the glass window, where he could see a fuming black cloaked man.

Months passed and Amelia and Fred went on several dates, outings and in everyone's views they became a thing. As time kept passing Amelia's feelings for Fred started developing, she started feeling sparks within her whenever she saw him, because now he was not just her bestfriend for sure.

A year later Fred and Amelia were officially dating, Amelia somehow brought Sev to be on terms with the fact, and Fred supported Amelia to build up her relation back with her father, Lyra, Estella and Remus too supported wholeheartedly.

Amelia soon started working in the Magical Law enforcement department as a junior, meanwhile Weasley Wizard Wheezes did wonders all over the wizarding world. It took Amelia a year to get her job stably, and now she was really successfull in it.

Sev being the headmaster was most of the year busy at Hogwarts, so Amelia started living at Grimmauld place with her father, Remus and Lyra got married in a small ceremony a year after the wizarding war ended and bought themselves a house.

Meanwhile Estella and George were caught secretly dating for two years, no one believed they'd keep it a secret, but after getting to know this the whole family was really happy for them, and a few months later they got engaged, and Estella's wish of having a world tour was still going on, and her and George roamed the world together.

Everything was going normal, Amelia was on really good terms with her father, Teddy was Amelia's first priority, and he was the hearthrob of the whole family. One christmas Eve, late at night, Fred and Amelia sat on terrace in the chilly winter wrapped in blankets watching the sky.

"Amy, I'll come in a second" Fred said unwrapping himself and standing up, Amelia nodded as he went in. Amelia frowned as he was taking too long to come so she got up and on turning around she saw Fred standing there.

"What happened Fred?" Amelia asked frowning going towards him but she was interrupted by Fred taking something out of his pocket, specifically a small box.

"Amelia Sierra Black" Fred began with a smile and Amelia instantly got the idea what was happening, she clamped a hand on her mouth already. Fred chuckled before continuing.

"Amy, you've been my bestfriend since first day, I have always admired, adored, and totally loved you. You've been my bestfriend, partner in crime, and the love of my life, and now I am sure I cannot ever imagine my life without you being in it. Because you have become my life– " He was again interrupted by Amelia letting out a chuckling sob.

"Now if you interrupt me again I swear I will do something–" He threatened playfully still holding the box out.

"What you gonna do about it Weasley?" She asked giving him a challenging look.

This time after being interrupted Fred didnt warn instead stepped forward grabbing her waist, leaning her backwards and himself leaning forward attaching their lips, he could feel her smile widely while in the kiss. He pulled away letting them both stand straight.

"Now dont interrupt me or I'll will do more than that" He whispered in her ear making her all flustered.

Clearing his throat he began again. "So I want to spend my whole life with an completely beautiful idiot like you–" He got on his knees opening the box revealing a really beautiful diamond ring.

"So Amelia Sierra Black will you marry me–"

Amelia interrupted him squealing loudly launching herself on him causing both of them to fall on floor, her laying on top of him squealing loudly.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!– I will marry you!– you idiot!"

*~Wedding bells!~*

"You are not going to wear that in my wedding!" Amelia hissed to her uncle who came again dressed in his signature clothes.

He rolled his eyes and removed his long black robes revealing a white coat tuxedo, instantly the room was filled with loud squeals. Hermione, Ginny, Estella, Pansy and Daphne all shrieked on seeing Sev in the outfit.

"Oh my!" Amelia breathed out clamping hands on her mouth, she could not bring words out. Sev ignored the eyes on him and approached his niece making her sit down on the chair in front of mirror.

"It was for Sierra, I wanted to gift it for her wedding, but– your father happened" He took out a white pearl and diamond necklace hesitantly tying it around her neck, tears welled up in her eyes, she still couldnt bring words out.

"No!– Dont Amelia!– your makeup!Professor you are making her cry!" Ginny exclaimed freaking out, she was the one who took the whole responsibility of her future sister in law's make up.

Sev backed away nervously, Amelia let out a teary chuckle, she had been overwhelmed since last night, and it was increasing with each and every passing minute. How could she possibly calm down?

She was getting married today!

"Amelia you look beautiful!" Lyra said coming inside hugging her. Meanwhile Amelia's eyes searched for the piece of her heart.

"Where Teddy?"

Lyra chuckled before answering "Him, Sirius and Remus are busy threatening Fred to take care of you"

Amelia let out a soft laugh imagining Teddy doing it. Amelia remembered her maid of honour was missing and asked "Where's Miss Maid of Honour?"

"Er– I saw her snogging Draco" Hermione said. Everyone chuckled shaking their heads, even Pansy, who was now married to a really handsome Drumstrang guy.

"Sorry sorry guys I was busy doing stuffs" A flustered Lory said coming inside running hastily. Everyone exchanged knowing glances.

"Hey everyone" Draco said coming inside.

"Hey stuff!" Everyone chimed. While Lory hid behind Lyra blushing furiously. Everyone laughed watching the two of them blushing so much.

"Amelia its time!" Sirius said coming inside and halted on seeing his daughter. She smiled up at him going forward. Sirius' eye brimmed with happy tears as he brought his daughter in his embrace.

"You look beautiful Amelia, just like Sierra" Sirius whispered kissing her forehead lovingly, Amelia let out a teary chuckle. She was way too much overwhelmed today, every single complement, or comment made her almost cry, Ginny was tired from stopping her from crying.

"Come on guys, its time!!" Lily Potter exclaimed coming in hastily. Everyone exchanged glances, because now they will get to know who will walk Amelia down the aisle, Amelia kept it a secret even from the person who was going to walk her down.

Inhaling sharply with a smile she glanced between Sev and Sirius, who themselves seemed confused and nervous, Amelia smiled widely before interwining her arms with both of them on each side. Everyone gasped.

"Both of them?" Lyra asked as startled as everyone. Amelia nodded firmly.

Sirius appeared completely bewildered and happy, meanwhile Sev, he quickly wiped the littlest of tear which seeped out of the corner of his eyes thankfully no one saw, except Amelia.

"Come then" Lyra said gesturing them to the door. All of them left first leaving the three in, Amelia's heart pounded wildly, she did what was told to her, took calm deep breaths.

"Come" Sirius whispered and they started moving out, Amelia could literally pass out today, even though only close family and friends were invited, but she still was freaking out.

Walking on the path designed for her, her panicking eyes fell on the beautiful decoration, everyone passing her warm smiles, she saw them all Remus, Narcissa, Harry, James, The whole weasley family, Teddy and Victorie(Bill and Fleur's daughter), George, the best man, then there stood he– her husband to be.

As their gazes met, they both relaxed. Fred appeared as nervous as her, but now both with grinning at each other from the distance.

Remus stood beside Fred, in the middle of the stage, he was going to do the marriage ceremony today, Sev and Sirius both led her to the stage, without her breaking the eye contact with him. He stepped forward holding a hand out for her as Sev and Sirius both passed her hand in his.

And she felt fire crackers within her, not sparks, Weasley's loud fire crackers.

"Hi" He whispered blushing.

"Hello" She whispered back.

Remus who was the only one closest to them heard and chuckled before clearing his throat, "Today we have all gathered for the special day of Mr. Fred Weasley and Ms. Amelia Black"

Remus started with the ceremony, which was being held magically, as Molly insisted. Amelia and Fred were told to interwine thier forearm and Remus bound them magically for life, with a thin silver branch forming around their forearms.

"Teddy, Victorie, rings" Remus said calling the kids forward, Teddy gave Amelia her ring, and Victorie gave to Fred. Remus told them to begin with their vows and firstly Fred started.

"Amy" Fred breathed out smiling, and just a single word made her overwhelmed again "Firstly I want you to know I've been awake whole night, preparing vows, crying, and lastly and only thinking about you, because I cant believe this day is coming true– I cant. Ever since I saw you, you had me fallen for you, not because you were beautiful or anything else, because I saw my complete soulmate in you, my partner in pranks–" Everyone chuckled, Amelia's being a sobbing one.

"And I want to spend my whole life with you, thinking about you, laughing with you, doing adventures with you, and Loving you. I want to be with you. Today you will become my wife, but you've been my bestfriend since forever and will remain my bestfriend till forever. As much as I'd hate to grow old, my red hair to turn white, or my teeth to fall, I'd love it even more because I'll be growing old with you, and now I have decided to only breath while loving you" He finished and Amelia was in tears, she passed a short apologetic look to Ginny, gaining a teary smile.

"Amelia your turn" Remus said smiling. Amelia sniffed chuckling taking out her parchment and beginning.

"Freddie, from the moment you asked me out for a date amidst the war and the moment till here, you've made my life pure bliss, from being my bestfriend to now becoming my husband, I've always loved you and plan on doing it forever, you are the reason I fell in love again and so deep that I am never coming out of it ever again. I want to spend every moment of my life while laughing, crying, singing, dancing, joking, pranking and fooling around with you because I love you" She finished with the widest smile, while the wizard in front of her failed to contain his tears.

"I love you too" He whispered back smiling.

"So Fred, do you vow to take Amelia to be your lawfully wedded wife and promise to cherish every moment of your life with her?"

"I do"

"Amelia do you vow to take Fred to be your lawfully wedded husband and promise to cherish every moment of your life with him?"

"I do"

"So now I pronounce you to be husband and wife, Fred you may now kiss the bri–" Remus was interrupted as Fred already stepped forward kissing his wife. Everyone chuckled breaking into applauds.

3 years later..
~* 1st April, 2003 *~

Amelia Weasley was rushing in her house from here and there as today was her husband's birthday, she had invited both the sides of her family to their house, most of them arrived just George and Estella left, who were soon to arrive from their trip from Greece.

Amelia weakly made her way to the kitchen where Hermione was helping preparing drinks, while Amelia returned from bathroom after puking for the third time in the day. She did not tell anyone as she didnt want them to get worried and create a fuss on her husband's birthday.

"Teddy, Victorie, Rose and James! Come back in!" Amelia yelled from her kitchen window calling the kids who were busy playing in the backyard. All of them scurried in.

"You seem really fed up" Hermione said chuckling.

"I didnt know it would be this difficult to manage a party alone" Amelia said huffing. There was suddenly loud yelling and squealing heard from outside and both the girls in kitchen exchanged glances knowing who came.

"Amelia!" Estella yelled coming in bringing her in a tight hug shaking wildly causing her head to spin lightly.

"Finally, you came" Amelia breathed out smiling and pulling away. George and Estella were still not over with her world tour. Estella got engaged talking to Hermione suggesting her to visit Greece. Meanwhile Amelia felt a soft nudge behind her.

"You alright love?"

She smiled nodding up at him, he could see she was slightly pale and didnt seem completely alright. He wrapped his arms around her waist from behind while she did her work.

"You know you didnt had to do it" He whispered in her ear from behind.

"I wanted to" She whispered back her cheeks flaring up, even after three years of marriage she everytime got flustered whenever he did small sweet things.

Molly called everyone in the hall of Amelia and Fred's house, they bought after getting engaged, Amelia took the responsibilty organize the twins birthday on her own, and was already tired with the too much work, but was still loving it.

All of them gathered and Amelia brought out the large cake she prepared herself for the twins birthday placing it on the table in front of them, and stood beside her husband, everyone started singing the birthday song, the twins turned twenty five today.

Suddenly Amelia felt the urge to puke again, she tried to control and supress it feeling intense head spin, and in an instant all she could see was darkness and felt someone holding her before she could hit the ground.

Amelia opened her eyes groggily finding herself laying on bed, and all of them surrounding her, she frowned seeing all of them smiling, she felt offended she fainted and they were smiling!

She turned to her husband who was sitting beside her, and his eyes were red. Was he crying? She suddenly tensed remembering it was his birthday and she ruined it. Shit.

"F-Fred I am sorry, I ruined your birthday, I am reall sorry George!– I dont know what happened to me– please forgive me, I am extremely sorry—" she ranted worriedly before being interrupted by Molly coming forward engulfing her in a tight warm hug.

"Dont apologise my dear!– we should all thank you– You are pregnant!"

The last three words hit her like a truck. Pregnant. Her mind became blank, and throat dry, mouth parted in disbelief. Fred pulled her in a hug tightly, she could sense he was really overwhelmed.

"Thankyou for giving me the best birthday gift of my life Amy" He whispered happily crying.

"Yeah shorty, You made me an uncle on my birthday!" George called grinning.

"You are already an uncle!" Ron and Ginny exclaimed scowling. Everyone laughed.

"Btw I also want a gift like that" George whispered in Estella's ear making her blush furiously.

"Okay guys lets leave the couple for a little while" Lyra said smiling, all of them left the room leaving Amelia and Fred. Turning to his wife Fred saw her eyes were pooling, and they were clearly not happy tears.

"W-what happened Amy?" He croaked cupping her face.

It wrenched her heart thinking about what she was going to say, everything flashed in her mind that her job was going wonderful, she was just twenty three, she already had a kid– Teddy, motherhood– it almost sounded
