Marty McFly's alarm clock went off at 7:30 in the morning. He hit the top of it and got out of bed, yawning. "Wow! What a week!" he mumbled under his breath. He got dressed in a t-shirt, with a button-down and suspenders, a classic look for him. He remembered that he didn't have his jean jacket, due to the fact that he had given it to his girlfriend.
He grabbed a sweatshirt and put it over his messy hair. Then Marty grabbed his backpack and his new 4x4 keys. He headed out to the living room and grabbed an apple from the table before telling his parents goodbye. He walked to the garage, threw his backpack into the truck, and got in, on his way to pick up Y/n.
Y/n Cornelia Brown tried her best to find something in the new pile of clothes she had just bought. "It needs to look normal. It needs to look like I belong here," she said to herself in the mirror. She eventually put on a pair of jeans, a 'Led Zepplin' shirt Marty told her looked hot, and his jean jacket.
She then packed her school bag. When Y/n lived in the '50's she didn't need a bag, but Marty told her she would need one in the '80s. She packed a pen, a pencil, and a notebook. Then she grabbed her already made breakfast.
"You're a genius, Uncle Doc!" Y/n exclaimed grabbing a piece of toast from the toaster. She then went out of the garage and locked the door, with the set of key's Marty had given her just yesterday.
Marty pulled up to Doc's garage, to find his girlfriend, Y/n waiting outside. She saw him and ran to the 4x4 opening the door and throwing her bag next to Marty's. "Good Morning, beautiful. You ready for your first day of Hill Valley High: 1985 edition?" Marty asked Y/n. "You bet your sweet ass, future boy," She replied kissing him on the cheek and buckling her seat belt.
Marty looked at her and noticed her shirt. "You're wearing the Zepplin shirt.." Marty trailed off. "Oh, yeah. I didn't know what else to wear, plus you said you liked it," Y/n said smirking. Marty laughed, as they drove through town, "That I do, doll," he responded.
"Okay, so let's go over the plan again," Y/n said. Marty laughed, "You're too much like Doc," he said. "I take that as a compliment, future boy. Okay, so I'm Doc's great-niece from Chicago. I just moved here and you are my guide around town because Uncle Doc is out on classified scientific business." Y/n told Marty. "Check, beautiful," Marty said pulling into the school.
She and Marty got out of the car, they grabbed their bags and Marty put an arm around Y/n's shoulders as they walked from the parking lot to the front of the school. Then a green van swerved in front of them.
"Hey! Marty! Who's the girl?" a boy asked, his hair full of gel. "Hey Lee, this is Y/n Brown, she's new and I'm showing her around," Marty said to Lee. Lee waved at Y/n and Y/n waved back, awkwardly. "Cool! See ya later, new girl!" Lee said, driving away.
Marty and Y/n walked into the school, "Man, does this place look different," Y/n trailed off. The two teenagers walked to the main office. "Hi! My name is Y/n Brown, I'm new," Y/n said to the front desk lady.
Mr.Strickland then walked out of his office, "Brown? Might you be in relation to Doctor Emmett Brown?" Strickland asked. "Yeah, I mean we share the same last name," Y/n said obviously.
Marty laughed, his arm still around her shoulder. "You have a real attidude problem Ms.Brown, I suggest you stop hanging around Mclfy. As for you McFly, you should get to class," Strickland said to Y/n and Marty. Marty glared at Strickland and then kissed Y/n on the cheek, "I'll see you later, doll." Marty said, not wanting to leave her side.
The front desk lady handed Y/n her class schedule, "I couldn't find you in the system, so you're taking all the regular senior requirements," the lady said. "Cool," Y/n trailed off, taking the paper. Mr. Strickland was still standing next to Y/n, "I'll have my grandson show you around, Ms. Brown Edward! Come here!" Strickland said.
A tall and lanky boy stepped out behind the counter. He ran his hands through his blonde hair and looked at Y/n, "Hey, I'm Edddie." he said shaking her hand. "Y/n, nice to meet you," Y/n said. "Gramps, we'll get going. Don't want to be late," Eddie said, smiling. Strickland nodded and went back to his office.
Eddie and Y/n walked down the halls. "So, you're with that slacker McFly right?" Eddie asked. Y/n rolled her eyes and adjusted her backpack. "Marty's not a slacker," she said.
Eddie laughed, "You probably just met the guy, but lemme tell you, there's a reason why my grandfather calls McFly a slacker. Well, this is your first class, enjoy your day, Ms. Brown," Eddie said walking away. Y/n crossed her arms and rolled her eyes, "The nerve," she mumbled.
Y/n walked into her class and saw Marty in the way back, she smiled and walked straight to him, "Hold it! Who are you?" the teacher asked. Y/n turned to him and said, "Y/n Brown, I'm new." The teacher took her schedule signed it and handed back to her. "Can I go to my seat?" Y/n asked, a couple of kids snickering behind her. "Yes, go ahead, Ms. Brown," the teacher said.
Y/n walked to the back and took the empty seat next to Marty, "I have good luck, my first class is with you," she smiled. "Thank god," Marty whispered to her, lovingly.
