hello bubs! i've been on a writing marathon and have had so many spurts of inspiration so i actually have a few pre written chapters:))

anyways i hope you enjoy!

(small disclaimer that when it talks about the first task, it's based off of the book! sorry if there's any confusion about that)

After Draco, Theo and myself serve them their dinner, we decide theres nothing else for us to do, and we all go back to our own dorms.

"Life is good, Crow." I say to my owl, laying in my bed and staring up at the ceiling.

After a moment of Crow not responding, I sit up and sigh. What am I even doing?

I stand up and quietly walk out of my dorm, trying my best to not disturb Pansy and Blaise. I walk softly to a dorm nearby, knocking on it lightly.

Draco opens the door a moment later, a confused look on his face when he notices its me. I look over his shoulder, expecting to see Goyle, though no one else seems to be in the room. "Got the dorm alone tonight?" I question.

He huffs humorously, not breaking eye contact with me. "Goyle's at Theo and Crabbe's."

I walk past him into the room, glancing around at the three different beds. He follows me in, quietly shutting the door. "And you know where Blaise is."

I nod, smiling at a picture of Goyle and his mom framed on Goyle's bedside table.

"Any reason you're here?" Draco asks, slowly walking over and sitting on his bed.

I shrug lightly, my eyes wandering for a moment longer before I look back to Draco. "Just bored." I walk over to a small desk on his side of the room, sitting in the chair next to it.

He quirks his eyebrow. "Am I entertaining to you?"

I glare at him, crossing my arms over my chest. "Mmm not right now." I yawn dramatically.

He laughs quietly, looking down at the ground. "Is there something you'd like to do?"

I bite my bottom lip gently, considering different games we could play. "Would you rather?"

"Would I rather what?" He asks stupidly, causing me to laugh quietly.

"Its a game, idiot." I get up, moving so Im leaning against the bottom of Blaise's bed, sitting on the floor.

He hesitantly gets up too, sitting down across for me, leaning against his own bed. "Whats the game?"

"It says it in the name," I shrug. "I'll ask you first. Would you rather date Daphne Greengrass or Hermione Granger?" I smirk.

He glares at me immediately, sitting up straighter. "I don't like this game."

"Fine fine, ask me a question then." I laugh.

"Would you rather date Blaise or Theo?" He quirks his eyebrow.

"Easy. Theo." I shrug, not having to put much thought into my answer. "Cant steal Blaise from Pansy."

He furrows his brows slightly, though I can't tell if he's feeling anger or confusion.

After a moment of silence - from what I could only guess is Draco processing my answer - I scoot closer to him. "I'd preferrrrr you though,"

"Sure you would." He responds quietly, avoiding my eyes.

"Oh c'mon, don't go all grumpy on me." I say jokingly, not being able to take Draco's stupid jealousy seriously.

He doesn't respond, keeping his eyes looking down at his hands in his lap. "Theo is not the one I've been making out with." I say quietly, leaning back on my hands.

I see a small smile grow on Draco's lips at this, before I nudge his shoulder. "Oh you fucking git!" I roll my eyes, trying to hold in my laughter. "All you care about is snogging me,"

He laughs at my reaction, finally looking into my eyes. "How could I not?"

I roll my eyes again, punching his leg gently.

He leans in slowly to my face, a small smile still on his lips. "I mean- you're beautiful." He whispers, his eyes locked with mine.

I can't help the small smile that grows on my lips, before I lean in closer to his ear. "You're obsessed, Malfoy." I whisper.

"Possibly," He smirks, his eyes glancing between my eyes before they look down to my lips.

I break the distance between us, my eyes fluttering closed. We slowly kiss, our rhythms matching, as I place my hand on his chest. His hand trails up my leg, to my waist, causing my body to shiver slightly.

His other hand finds my waist, pushing my body to be on top of his legs, so I was now straddling him. Our lips stay connected, as my hands slide up to the back of his neck, playing with his hair.

His kisses become more passionate, before I slowly lean away. "I need to get going." I say quietly, regretting every word I say.

He groans before beginning to kiss me again, his grip around my waist tightening slightly when I lean back again. "Draco-"

He moves down, leaving a trail of kisses on my jawline. My eyes close harshly at the wonderful feeling, though I grab his chin to make him look at me.

"Blaise is gonna be back any minute, I have to go." I say, holding his chin tightly in my fingers. He furrows his brows annoyedly, before I take his hands off of my waist and stand up. "I'll see you tomorrow, Draco."

As I quietly walk out of his dorm with a smile on my face, I realize what tomorrow is. The first task.

I had already known that the first task was somehow related to dragons, however no one knew exactly what the goal was. Though as I watch watch Cedric Diggory, Victor Krum,  Fleur Delacour, and Harry all attempt the collect a golden egg that was guarded by a dragon, Its quite obvious what the task is.

I had first watched Cedric turn a rock in the arena into a Labrador to distract the dragon while we easily collected the golden egg.

Krum had attempted to hit his dragon with a spell right in its eye, though had marks taken away as the dragon ended up smashing half of their real eggs while in pain. Though he did work quickly.

Fleur starts off strong by luring her dragon into a sleeping trance, though was immobilized when the dragon snored a bit of fire, catching her skirt on fire. She ended up getting rid of the fire by spraying some water on her skirt with her wand, then collected the egg.

Harry used a summoning spell for his broom, which really was no surprise, though it was pretty brilliant. Once he got his broom, he flew around the dragon to collect the egg.

Krum and Harry ended up tying for first place, as they both finished the quickest with the least amount of mistakes.

Once the first task was over, none of the Slytherins seemed to thrilled about Harry winning first place, though they did enjoy the fact that Krum had also gotten first.

I overhear Pansy, Blaise, and Draco complain about Harry's "stupid strategy" though ignore them as my eyes glance around at all the Gryffindors. They all celebrate with cheers and jumps, before walking back up to the castle.

The Slytherin's are only a little behind them, as every house makes its way back to our dormitories.

"Ill be back," I say quietly to Draco before walking away from the group to Harry and Hermione.

"Hey! Great job out there," I smile at Harry, glancing down at the golden egg wrapped in his arms.

"Thanks!" He responds, grinning proudly at his accomplishment.

I glance as the Gryffindors continue their way to the Gryffindor dormitories. "Do you have time... to talk?" I ask, feeling slightly guilty for pulling him away from the celebration.

He looks at Hermione for a second before turning back to me. "Yeah, sure."

We walk to an empty corridor, the sunlight coming through a large window being the only source of light. "I apologize for disturbing your celebration but I wanted to talk to you about something.."

He repositions the golden egg to be held up by only one of his arms. "Is something wrong?" He asks, furrowing his brows.

"No- well... kind of." I sigh. "I have a lot of suspicions about Professor Moody. He was the one that tried to hit me with the spell, and since then I haven't been able to stop thinking about it."

"Have you asked Dumbledore about it?"

"Yes, Ive tried talking to him about it but he immediately shuts down my ideas," I cross my arms over my chest. "I just know you've gone through the same thing of people not believing what you say."

He huffs, nodding his head as he stares at the ground. "Yeah, definitely."

A moment of silence goes by as I consider things to say. "Well anyway, just wanted to let you know that you should probably be more careful around Moody."

He gives me a small smile. "Yeah ok I will, thanks."

I smile back, nodding my head a little. "Let me know whatever is in that egg once you open it."

"Oh yeah, for sure." He looks at the egg. "See you sometime soon,"

"Mhm," I say, watching as he walks off to the Gryffindor dormitories.

I slowly turn my head to look out of the large window at the end of the corridor, a quiet sigh leaving my lips. I notice a few snowflakes falling from the sky, causing a small smile to appear on my face as I admire the school grounds.
