Hi lovely bubziesss! This may be the longest chapter I've ever written I'm not sureโ but don't worry it's a fun one๐๐ Here's the song(s) of the chapter
Tongue tied - Grouplove
Dead to me - Kali Uchis
(First one fits the beginning of the chapter more, second fits second half more, though do whatever you want!)
Anywayssss, enjoyyy!:))
I smoothed my simple black shirt down, making sure no wrinkles were visible, as I admired my outfit in the mirror. I decided to go for more of a modest but cute outfit, specifically because of past events.
"You sure you don't want anything slightly scandalous?" Pansy wiggles her eyebrows suggestively at me, packing a few things in a small purse.
I snort humorously before shaking my head slowly, still staring at myself in the mirror. "Oh I'm sure."
"Fair enough." Pansy shrugs slightly, picking up the small purse and wrapping it around her shoulder. "You ready?"
"If you are," I smile, a surge of excitement flowing through me, as I spray a few last sprints of perfume on my neck.
Pansy smirks mischievously at me, before holding her elbow out, gesturing for me to hold it. "Shall we then?"
"Yes we shall," I wink at her, before we quietly leave our dorm.
There was not light in the common room, other than the soft fire, which seemed to be dying down rather quickly. My eyes glance throughout the giant room, making sure there was no one to watch our escape.
Once we both made sure no one else was awake, we quietly opened the dormitory door, leading us out into the dungeons. All of the corridors were dark, and silent, though its just as I'd suspect them to be this late at night.
"What are the instructions?" I whisper to the dark haired girl, trying to ignore the slight bit of nerves creeping into my body.
Pansy had asked a 6th year student (Who clearly had snuck out of Hogwarts many times before) about Filch's whereabouts every hour, to make sure we wouldn't get caught by him, nor his cat.
The student wrote a list of instructions for Pansy and I to follow, meaning we were going to do exactly that so we could make it out safely, and secretively.
"First one says to go through this corridor, then turn left," Pansy reads off the piece of parchment, pointing to the corridor the list instructed to go through.
My eyes glance down the corridor, making sure no one was there, though the chances of anyone actually being there was low. We both walked quietly through the silent corridor, our bodies alert to any noises or hints that someone was near.
Both of our heads peak over to the next corridor, before we quickly jog through it, the decision to not wear heels seeming to be brilliant at the moment.
The looking through corridors before quickly walking through them continued for the next five or more minutes. I soon realized that we were getting extremely close to the front entrance of the school, causing a small smile to appear on my lips.
We finally turned the last corner, causing our eyes to land on the corridor that lead to the window we were to escape from. I glanced at Pansy, as she glanced at me, evil smirks worn proudly on both of our faces.
Though the moment of success, soon turned into panic as the noise of footsteps, becomes louder and louder by the second. Pansy and I stare at each other in panic, our eyes wide and breathing quick.
We both quickly run down the last corridor, clearly not having a plan as to what we'd do if the person decided to walk or even glance our way.
"You two! Get back here!" Filch croaks at us, though theres absolutely nothing that would stop us from running as if our lives depended on it- which in this moment, they did.
As my head glances backwards to see if he had reached the corridor we were currently sprinting through, a hand roughly grabs my wrist, pulling me towards the side. Panic immediately fills my senses, as the person who grabbed me covers my mouth, and holds me tightly, making it almost impossible to move.
My heart races and my breath rises, as Im faced towards the corridor, not being able to see who the person who was currently holding me captive was. I could see Pansy struggling against a man across from me as well, causing my worry to rise.
My breathing quickens by the second, though my brows soon furrow in confusion as I smell something... apples and cologne.
My eyes roll at this observation, before I prepare to elbow him in his ribs. Though Draco must have seen this coming as he quickly grips my wrists together and pushes me against him, making it impossible for me to use my arms to hurt him at all.
The feeling of having no power against him makes my anger rise, though it soon falls as I realize the situation I was in.
His hot breath tickles my ear, as his hands still grip my wrists tightly, and his other hand covers my mouth to make sure I didn't make any noise. My face turns red at the thought of how close we currently were, my body against his.
Filch's footsteps get louder and louder, alerting me that he was in the corridor that we were all hiding in. Though the place we were currently, was to the side of the corridor, making it harder for him to be able to see any of us in the pitch black darkness.
My heart stops once I see his shadow on the ground, and soon after I see him walking to the window we were supposed to escape from. He angrily looks out the window, before turning around and standing there in silence.
No noises came from any of us, causing Filch to huff angrily and walk off. The breath I had unconsciously been holding left my lips, and my eyes closed for a second in relief.
Its only around 30 seconds once Filch is gone before I pick my foot up and stomp as hard as I can on Draco's foot, escaping his hold on me.
Draco winces quietly at my action. "What are you two doing?" He whisper yells, glancing between Pansy and I, his brows knitted with anger and confusion.
"What are you doing?" I whisper yell back, rubbing my wrists to try and relieve the slight pain they were in. By now I had realized the man who was holding Pansy was no other than Draco's best friend, Blaise Zabini.
"I asked you first," Draco responds childishly, still clutching his foot in pain.
I scoff quietly, shaking my head slowly, "'I asked you first!? How old are you, 5?"
A singular laugh escapes Blaise's mouth, though a glare from Draco makes him turn serious immediately, causing a small smile to appear on my lips.
"Now if you'd excuse us, we have a fun night ahead of us," Pansy interrupts, annoyance in her tone. She glances at me, before walking towards the window at the end of the corridor. And its not long before I'm right there with her.
"You aren't leaving the castle, are you?" Blaise asks, a hint of concern in his voice.
Pansy slides the window open, peaking outside of it before turning around, a smirk on her lips. "I'm afraid thats exactly what we're doing, Zabini."
Draco's eyes move to mine immediately, his brows slowly furrowing in confusion. a small smirk begins to grow on my lips, a sense of pride in their surprised expressions.
Pansy begins making her way through the window, first sliding her legs through, before her whole body is out and she hops onto the ground.
I slide my legs through the window, before flipping my head back to look at Draco. A small wink is all I give him, before I'm totally outside, the fresh air hitting my lungs. I take a second to take in the scenery, inhaling and exhaling big breaths.
A noise distracts my peaceful mindset, causing me to quickly turn around and see what the noise had come from. My brows furrow slightly as I watch Draco slip through the window (more easily than I'd have expected) and smooth out his shirt as if he had done nothing.
Blaise is right behind him, though his exit through the window was not as smooth, nor easy looking as the blonde before him. A small laugh escapes Pansy's mouth, though my brows only furrow in concern for the boy.
"We don't need bodyguards." I roll my eyes, talking to both of the boys, though not breaking my eye contact with Draco.
"I'm afraid we're not asking." Draco quirks an eyebrow, taking a step towards me, our eyes still not looking anywhere but each other.
A huff of frustrations leaves my lips, before I glance at Pansy, annoyance clearly written on my face. It takes her a moment to stop admiring Blaise and look back at me.
She shrugs slightly, a small smirk on her lips. I roll my eyes at her response, before slowly turning my head to look at the blonde in front of me.
"Fine. But you can't wear your school uniforms." I state sternly, unintentionally looking up and down his body.
A small smirk grows on Draco's lips before he quickly undoes his tie, throwing it on the ground. He unbuttons a few buttons on his shirt, keeping eye contact with me the whole time.
"Better?" He asks arrogantly, slipping his hands into his pocket.
Blaise follows his action soon after, causing me to bite the inside of my cheek with anger. "Not at all." I answer annoyedly, before turning around and walking away.
Pansy catches up with me moments later, the boys dragging along behind us, as we make our way to Hogsmeade.

Once we arrive at the town, it doesn't take long before Pansy spots a building for us to go in. Along our way, I had decided that my mission tonight was to 1. have fun, and 2. ignore Draco.
Thinking it sounded much easier than actually accomplishing it, though I was determined.
As we enter the cabin kind of building, fire whiskey immediately fills my nostrils. A small cough leaves my mouth at the strong scent, though I cover it up by clearing my throat awkwardly, causing a small laugh to escape the blonde next to me.
I roll my eyes at him actually hearing me, nudging his shoulder annoyedly.
My eyes glance around the room curiously, finding many different things. there were yellow toned lights hanging many places throughout the room, and in the middle lies a large group of people partying. Girls waving their arms throughout the air, and boys clearly admiring them.
"Watcha thinking about doing?" A voice asks from behind, leaning close to my ear.
I quirk an eyebrow immediately, and roll my eyes in annoyance. "That- Im afraid, is none of your concern." I respond confidently, slowly turning around to face Draco.
"Well, as your bodyguard for the night, Im afraid that it is." He smirks, clasping his hands behind his back.
I scoff at his response, before slowly walking backwards, away from him. "Im not letting you ruin my night, Malfoy." I raise my eyebrows, a confident smirk growing on my lips.
He keeps eye contact with me, his tongue poking the inside of his cheek, right up until I turn around and walk over to Pansy who was sitting at the bar.
"How old are you again?" The bartender questions her, not really seeming to care much.
"As old as I want to be," Pansy shrugs, giving me a quick smile as I sit next to her.
The bartender laughs quietly at Pansy's answer, glancing at me. "Two butterbeers then?" She asks, clearly not about to give Pansy nor myself alcohol.
Pansy sighs dramatically, shifting her gaze to look at me, a sad expression upon her face as she silently begs me to trick the bartender. "That'd be great," I respond, turning to look at the bartender.
"Oh c'mon! We could've gotten some really good drinks there." Pansy whines, once the bartender had walked away.
"Pansy, we're 14." I remind her, laughing quietly.
She shrugs slightly, before changing her sitting position to look out at Blaise and Draco. "So, how're things with blondie?"
I turn over to look at them as well, not even sure where to start with my answer. "Everywhere." I huff humorously. "He's trying to earn my 'respect' and 'trust' right now."
Pansy's head slowly turns to look at me, a small smile on her lips. "What?" I ask her, confusedly laughing at her smile.
"You know, I've known Malfoy all my life. Grew up with him, went to his house almost weekly as a child." She pauses, her smile growing. "I've never seen him as interested in someone as he is in you."
I scoff at her statement, shaking my head slowly. "I'm just a game to him because I don't fall at his feet. I mean- you saw how he was with Daphne, nobody can get over someone that quickly." I shrug slightly, a small frown appearing on my face.
"Maybe," Pansy responds, clearly not believing my denial. "But I don't believe he ever actually fancied her."
I stay silent at her statement, my brows furrowing slightly in confusion. What?
"Here are your drinks." The bartender interrupts my thoughts, placing our butterbeers on the counter. I thank her with a quick smile before turning around to look at Draco, a quiet sigh escaping my lips.
Pansy takes a quick sip before standing up and holding an arm out to me. "We've gotta dance at least a little tonight." She tilts her head slightly, glancing down at her hand, gesturing for me to grab it.
I laugh quietly, before holding her hand and standing up. "Then lets do this."
We walk out to where everyone was dancing, as I try to boost my confidence back up from the sudden confusion I had just felt. My eyes glance over to where the boys were, only to find that Draco was already looking at me, and Blaise already looking at Pansy.
I quirk an eyebrow and smirk at him, as he looks me up and down, raising his drink as if cheering with someone, before he takes a sip.
A small laugh leaves my lips before I turn back to face Pansy, as we head into the crowd and begin dancing.
