Hey bubs!! This is a longer chapter for y'all because I  wanted to add details and not rush it:)) also I'd love if y'all commented some of the fanfics your writing! I love reading all your stories!<3

Anyways! Enjoy!:))

The group ended up deciding we would have our quidditch game tomorrow, at 5 P.M.

The game wasn't the only thing that was happening tomorrow, it was also Halloween. Which meant that we'd get to celebrate right afterwards, when we won.

I liked to think I had no doubt in my mind that we'd win, but truthfully, there was a small doubt in my mind. The boys had always been quite talented when it came to quidditch so even if I felt we did good, by ourselves, flying around like idiots, who knows what'll happen when we start playing against other people. People who have played quidditch for awhile now, too.

The three of us, Pansy, Daphne, and myself, walked back to our dorm, our bodies tired and slightly sore.

We all showered, and changed into our pajamas before tiredly flopping onto our beds. I was proud of how much we practiced, but goodness was it tiring.

"Once this whole bet thing is over, I say we never play quidditch again." Pansy says, wrapping herself up in a blanket.

"Couldn't agree more," I yawn, closing my eyes.

"I second that," Daphne mutters before rolling over on her bed, turning off the lamp that lit up the dorm room.

"Night, guys," I say softly, a small smile forming on my face.

"Goodnight," Pansy mutters so quietly it's almost impossible to hear.

I hear a small, quiet, "mhm" from Daphne before I close my heavy eyes once again, falling asleep rather quickly.

The next day goes by quickly, consisting of finding random bruises all over my legs, that I apparently got from quidditch.

Since I, of course, had most of my classes with none other than Draco, he'd constantly say things like "Nervous, Y/l/n?" Or "I'll try not to beat you too harshly" followed along with his signature smirk. He knew how arrogant and cocky he was, but he loved it.

In all honestly, though, I was nervous. The last thing I wanted to do was someone else's homework for three whole days, because I lost a bet I was so prideful about. Plus, who wouldn't want to see three rather serious, always putting up a hard front guys, wear Halloween costumes because they lost a game of quidditch to three girls who've never played quidditch in there lives.

I kept the thought of winning in my mind throughout the day, trying to keep my determination up. It seemed to be working for me, though Daphne looked fairly stressed the whole day.

I'd constantly give her encouraging smiles, hoping she knew I believed in her, though I'd only get a weak smile from her in return.

Pansy's confidence was through the roof, per usual. She acted as if we already won, as if there wasn't a doubt in her mind that we would win.

The three of us walked back to our dorm together, not a word being said. The stressed tension between all of us was extremely high, causing nerves to fill my body.

I took a deep breath in, exhaling shakily, which only proved how nervous I was.

"If we're not confident, there's no chance we'll win." Pansy says, lifting her chin slightly as we walk down the dungeon stairs.

"Right," I say, smiling slightly as I lift my chin as well.

Daphne looks at us, sighing quietly before lifting her chin as well, walking confidently to our dorms.

Once we got to our dorm, we all change quickly. I tied my hair up, knowing it would get in the way if I left it down.

Pansy sat Daphne and I on her bed, standing sternly in front of us.

"We're going to win this, you hear me?" She starts, pointing a finger sternly at us.

We both nod nervously at her, not daring to deny it.

"Why are we going to win this?" She asks, raising her eyebrows.

I furrow my brows slightly at her, looking at Daphne for an answer. Daphne seems to be just confused as I am, but answers anyways.

"Because we're better than them?" She answers, sounding more of a question than a statement.

"No. Because we are bad bitches and we know it." She says sternly, a smirk on her face.

My eyes widen slightly at her language, a breathless laugh leaving my mouth. Daphne grins at the statement, standing up and crossing her arms.

"Right we are," she says, a smirk growing on her lips.

I stand up, the three of us now standing in a triangle shape. I glance at the door before looking back at them, a smirk on my face.

"Let's go win a bet," I say, biting my bottom lip in excitement.

There's a moment of silence as we all stand there grinning at each other, before walking out of our dorm, walking powerful as ever.

I could tell confidence was beaming off us as we walked to the field, but I absolutely loved it. Us being this confident could easily confuse the boys, giving us a head start.

We walk to the shed we had gotten the brooms from yesterday. They really weren't great brooms, but we had nothing else. We put some gear on, in case of any injuries or mishaps.

As I walk onto the field with them, I immediately spot the boys. I wasn't surprised they were already there, they probably warmed up or something like that. Great. More of a chance for them to win.

No, I wasn't going to let myself think like that. I was on a team with two brilliant girls, who weren't scared to break a few rules. And myself, I believed in myself, and that's what truly mattered.

"Woah, don't get too excited now," Daphne sneers at the boys who seemed to have no interest in us finally getting there.

They turn their heads in our direction immediately after Daphne speaks, smirks growing on all of their faces.

I scoff quietly eyes at their smirks, sometimes I hated when they did that. I didn't hate the smirk itself, I hated the arrogance, the pride, the stupidity.

We soon all walk our separate ways, preparing for the match. I'm staring at my broom, taking in deep breaths, when a smirking blonde distracts me.

"Here's what the golden snitch looks like, y'know.. in case you didn't know," he says, holding the snitch up while smiling innocently at me.

I roll my eyes at him, taking the snitch from his hand and throwing it up in the air, before catching it in front of his face.

"Here's what catching the snitch looks like, y'know.. in case you didn't know from all the games you've lost to Potter." I smirk, eyeing him up and down.

He freezes for a moment, unsure what to say, before scoffing at the action and quickly grabbing the snitch from my hand. He quirks an eyebrow at me, nodding slowly as his tongue pokes the side of his mouth.

"Hilarious." He mutters, slowly backing away.

"I try." I grin at him, tilting my head slightly.

I see a small smile on his lips before he turns around, jogging to Blaise and Goyle. My gaze turns to Pansy who I hear calling me over to her and Daphne.

"You guys ready?" She asks, a smirk on her lips.

"Ready-" I answer, clearing my throat. "To win and dress these idiots up." I grin at them.

They both smile at me, laughing slightly before Daphne gives her answer.

"Let's go have some.. fun," she says, quirking a brow as her eyes switch between Pansy and myself.

We walk over to the boys, standing where our positions start.

Crabbe was there to start us off, after the girls approved of him. We didn't know if he'd start it off cheating, so the boys had a better chance of winning, but we ended up deciding that Crabbe was too nice to do that. Plus, he knew Pansy would definitely beat him up if he did.

I laughed quietly as I saw Goyle looking quite scared as Pansy stared him down. Daphne wasn't breaking eye contact with Blaise, which I was proud of her for, but of course he was wasn't breaking it either.

I finally shift my gaze to the platinum blonde in front of me, hoping I looked at least a little intimidating. I quirked an eyebrow at him, a smirk spreading across my lips as I looked into his grey eyes.

If it weren't for Crabbe's loud whistle he blew, (who knows where he got that from) and Blaise quickly flying to catch the Quaffle, I could've drowned in his eyes. I hated how weak they seemed to make me, how distracted I could get by just looking into them. I hated the things they did to me, but not them. I didn't hate them at all.

Blaise flew with the Quaffle, approaching the goalpost Pansy was protecting. He threw the Quaffle at the goalpost, seeming to think that Pansy definitely couldn't block it. She blocks it quite easily, a smirk on her lips afterwards.

I watch as Blaise's mouth seems to part in shock. His eyes look as though they widen slightly, the smirk from his face fading.

I don't watch them for long, before tightening my grip around my broom, speeding upwards. I fly up about 50 feet, looking around the field.

I glance around, watching Daphne finally get the Quaffle momentarily before turning my gaze in front of me, still looking for any sign of gold. My head turns quickly in every direction possible, as I float high in the sky.

It's not more than two minutes of me looking for the snitch before Draco flies up, floating near me. I roll my eyes at him, wondering if he knows how much of a copier he is.

I tighten my grip once again, flying closer to the field. My eyes move side to side quickly, trying to be alert for when the snitch appears.

My gaze lands on the game in front of me, watching as Daphne spins quickly around Goyle, the Quaffle in her hand. Him being the idiot he is, tries to turn to keep up with her spinning, ultimately making him extremely dizzy. Daphne finally stops spinning, a grin on her face as she watches him dizzily try to block her throw. He misses the Quaffle, not even being close to blocking it.

I cheer loudly, a wide grin on my face. My head turns to Pansy when I hear her whistling for her teammate. My grin fades slightly as I realize Blaise has the Quaffle and is approaching the currently distracted Pansy.

He throws the Quaffle into the goalpost quickly, Pansy barely acknowledging he's even there before the Quaffle is well past the goalpost.

I groan annoyedly at his quick movements, hoping this didn't throw off Daphne and Pansy.

My head turns upward as I hear someone snicker above me. I recognize the laugh before I even look upwards, knowing he must love my disappointment.

"Oh shut up, will you?" I say, rolling my eyes at him.

He only responds with a smirk, before flying off again. I look in the direction he's flying, seeing if he actually found the snitch or if he just wanted a dramatic exit.

The snitch was nowhere to be seen yet, and Draco definitely didn't find it.

I watched the game a little longer, a groan leaving my mouth every time Blaise scored a goal. The score was 40-10 now, the boys with 40 points, us with 10. It didn't take me long to realize that we didn't have much of a chance to win if I didn't get the snitch.

I sigh quietly, trying not to give up on our team. I had a feeling that Blaise scoring the goal soon after we did, definitely threw the girls off a bit.

Thoughts fill my head of how we could win, how I could win, when suddenly a flicker of gold crosses my eyes. I widen my eyes slightly, realizing what just passed me.

My senses are more alert now than ever,  determination once again taking over my mind. My head snaps quickly to where to snitch was, my eyes not daring to blink.

I start flying towards it, lowering my chest closer to the broom to speed up.

Wind brushes through my hair, as I narrow my eyes at the small flying snitch. Draco soon shows up beside me, his eyes set on the gold as well.

I bite my bottom lip unconsciously, giving all my focus to the snitch.

Before I know it, Draco is ahead of me, slowly reaching his arm out to grab the snitch.

My mind starts panicking, knowing he could easily catch the snitch at any moment.
Distraction. I need to somehow distract him.

I race through different things I could do, time seeming to stop as I do so.

Suddenly I think of something. My dad taught me the spell when I was around 9 years old, told me it was extremely dangerous and to not do it unless I knew I could.

I thought about it for a few seconds, then decided it was my only chance.

I closed my eyes, concentrating on the spell. My mind focuses on where I want to be, and what I'm hoping to do once I'm there.

My eyes widen as I realize I'm suddenly inches from the snitch.

I just apparated.

I barely realize I've caught the snitch once I do. My heartbeat still racing, my mind wondering what the hell just happened.

I lower my broom down to the field, the snitch held tightly in between my fingers.

Draco lands soon after me, running over to me. He looked more confused than mad once he finally reached me.

"Did you just-" He asks, his brows furrowed in confusion before i interrupt.

"I think so.." I say, staring at the snitch in my hand.

I had no idea how I apparated, especially with no practice. Normal 13 year olds weren't apparating whenever they wanted to or whenever they thought about it.

"How-"

"I have no idea," I interrupted the blonde once again, shaking my head slowly.

I glance up at Draco, our expressions matching. I barely registered that we won because I was so confused on how we won. How I apparated a few feet in front of me to catch the snitch.

Loud cheering and two running girls, distracted me from my thoughts. Daphne and Pansy were both grinning widely, as they engulfed me into a giant group hug.

I grinned back at them, though it wasn't necessarily a real smile. I couldn't get over what just happened, and Draco seemed to be having the same issue.

It wasn't long before I realized that Pansy, Daphne, Blaise, and Goyle had no idea I apparated. They thought I won from talent, which relieved me. I didn't want them to know, I already knew I was going to get in so much trouble for it.
