jeno has only been considering what occurred to him since hearing those words from jaemin, forgetting everything else. he contacted haewon as a result.

on the other side, jeno's inquiries caused haewon to experience severe anxiousness. she knew everything. how long were those seven years? haewon knew what happened to jaemin.

she was shaking quietly as she sat there. she was relieved to not be in korea because that would have put her in danger.

"I HATE JIMIN SO FUCKING MUCH"

she was eluding the inquiry. the brunette was aware that jeno was jaemin's childhood friend, but despite being his friend, she kept this information from pinkette. as she shared his affection for Jeno. but she he lost against karina, which is why she pushed jaemin to jeno. because she didn't want to see her ex-best friend getting married to jeno, she couldn't help but advise jaemin to wed him. despite the fact that they are still dating, Karina is unable to marry the ravenette.
 
she smiled as she held the money for jaemin's pet's care in her hand. minmin sadly passed away as a result of haewon's inaction. she didn't tell this to jaemin at all. the girl kept on making false statements about the dog to jaemin.

the two girls and their group only bullied jaemin since she was with karina. and following a heated dispute, she grew close to jaemin. jaemin is well known to karina, although she was unaware that he was close friends with jeno. she never saw jaemin even though she was constantly with jeno. the unfortunate boy accepted haewon without understanding her actual motives. the girl always had bad intentions. she essentially just took the cash for the pomeranian's surgery and fled from jeno and jaemin. she has not yet responded to jeno.

"he wants to know if jaemin was bullied," she chuckles at the call. "despite my desire to avoid calling you, i did so to inform you that your boyfriend is in love with jaemin! they even got married". karina was the one who harassed jaemin the most, which is why the pinkette still despises her, and haewon couldn't stop laughing and making fun of her.

karina merely swore at her, trying to keep her temper, "bitch." should've killed jaemin instead of filming him, she thought as she hung up the phone.
  
then, out of the blue, karina thought to write jaemin, telling him to avoid jeno if he didn't want to transmit the video to mrs lee.

"what will mrs lee do if she saw na jaemin being groped by someone in the school bathroom?"

karina's male friends attempted to commit a sexual assault on jaemin on the video, but since their faces weren't visible, all responsibility would fall on jaemin.

it was at that point that karina's attempts to torment jaemin went too far. the pinkette looked so helpless in the video while the other males tore his clothes, poured alcohol on him, touched him inappropriately so much. jimin also laughed at jaemin while lighting up the lighter and telling him that she will burn him alive. but the video only included of jaemin getting assaulted by the boys, the two of them were stronger than him, and they forced him to please them otherwise they said they'll kill him.

jaemin left the school as a result and never saw them again. when he went back to korea, he attended the same school as the pinkette had previously attended, but jeno never saw jaemin there again. neither karina nor haewon made any remarks about him. despite the fact that jaemin was haewon's neighbour, they pretended they didn't know him. the ravenette never had the opportunity to meet jaemin because they moved far away from their previous residence, making it impossible for jeno to even seek for it.

jaemin was greatly affected by the bullying; he began to have suicidal thoughts, didn't want to show his face to people, and felt extremely insecure. fearful that if the group shared that video, no one would ever accept him again.

jaemin cried every day and hoped he would never see his bullies again because he felt so insecure. despite the fact that he constantly saw her, haewon never actually hurt jaemin due of the conflicts she had with karina.

jaemin saw the text appear on his screen. as he read the message, his eyes grew more open. when he read the message from an unidentified number, he appeared too shocked and was afraid. the message mentioned a video in some way, which he started to think about.

fearfully covering his mouth, jaemin. the video was unquestionably the one he almost forgot about; when he heard about it again years later, it nearly gave him a heart attack. he felt so weak once again the same pain he faced years ago was now back. why in the world is this being done to him? when the young boy thought of the time they recorded him, his eyes began to water and his jaws to shake. what if those bullies are back? was the thought jaemin began to have the most. and how would mrs lee respond if she saw the video? he began to sob and nearly collapsed to the ground. fortunately, jeno wasn't at home.

he was unable to stop crying. why is he even experiencing this? jaemin tried to stop crying but he was unable to because of the excruciating pain in his neck. ".. t-there's ... no one.. t-to help me.. jeno a-already ... hates m-me so much! .." he cried while murmuring his problems. he really wanted to terminate his life at this time, but he was too terrified to. jaemin is forced to cry and feel terror. he merely desired a better life, but his wishes were not fulfilled. he should have been less greedy in the past so that he wouldn't be dealing with so much right now. he was now living the worst life.
 
what exactly does it mean to avoid his husband? jaemin was helpless and unsure of what to do. why does that person urge him to avoid jeno although he has never actually lived happily together? jaemin has always believed that jeno despises him greatly, and the fact that he is already dating karina is evidence of this. he does not belong in jeno's house or in his heart, it is true. he is an outsider and may only be his husband's servant. since he had no reason to remain in the lee's estate, jaemin made the decision to go.

the voices of laughing in the hallway were followed by the sound of the door opening. He heard someone else, but he was sure it was jeno. the pinkette appeared dull and lifeless, like a porcelain doll, with a sobbing face. He peeked out of his room, and as he had anticipated, karina was the other person.

  
she was walking awkwardly and wearing a short, shimmering dress. the girl appeared to be inebriated. jeno assisted her in walking as well. the pinkette started to cry a little bit as they talked about cutesy things.

the girl appeared to be so drunk that she had fallen asleep. to take her to his bedroom, jeno lifted her up in bridal style. jaemin simply kept looking at his husband.
  
while carrying the girl, jeno looked at jaemin. He disregarded the pinkette and entered the space to lay the young woman on the bed.

as jeno laid karina on the bed, jaemin watched from the doorway. the ravenette was aware of his condition.

"she was very drunk at work, so I had to bring her here."

tears welling up in his eyes, jaemin grinned. every time he sees them together, it makes him hurt.

"this relation?... it's irrelevant, right?... it doesn't matter to you at all... what am i to you?.. a servant?.. a secretary?... right?"

"there's no need for me to stay here right?.. mrs lee is not here either... so you don't have to worry about anything jeno... i'll leave.. you can stay with karina... it won't hurt me. we should get a divorce"

jeno sat there speechless. all of jaemin's comments left jeno perplexed. the ravenette never considered getting a divorce, and he was also aware that jaemin isn't the kind of person to yell at him. he was aware that something was wrong with the pinkette.

he got up and walked up to jaemin. when the pinkette spotted his husband approaching him, he lowered his head. then, all of a sudden, he felt jeno softly encircling his waist. with jeno's smallest touch, jaemin was compelled to break down in tears. the ravenette let jaemin cry while he ruffled his hair, rubbed him on the back, and continued to cuddle him.

he quavered gently in jeno's ear, "please.. let me s-stay away f-from you... despite the fact.. t-that i despise you... i-i might ... f-fall in love .. with you..."
 
jaemin felt even more at ease after listening to jeno's kind statement. "you can leave if you wish.." but he wanted jaemin to love him as pinkette stated.
 
"h-husband.. please.. give m-me a divorce.."
 
but how could jeno abandon him once more? How could he abandon his dearest friend. After seven years of waiting, he finally got to meet jaemin. given how much he loves jaemin, how could he divorce him? for jeno, everything was incredibly challenging. he hugged jaemin and scowled at karina. she is to thank for all that is happening right now.
 
jeno was tugged away by jaemin. he kept wiping tears from his eyes, the pinkette cupped the other's face, "goodbye" and he smiled at jeno for the last time. after which he abruptly departed the ravenette.

jeno once more shouted out to jaemin to which the boy stopped and turned to his husband with the depressed look on his face he replied, "i'm going to my house... jeno. i'll send you the divorce papers tomorrow...", the pinkette said after wiping away his tears.

however, jeno was unable to express to him his desire to remain with jaemin. he is now considering telling karina the whole truth and walking away, but that will be difficult. even if her father would disseminate untruths about jeno's business and karina won't serve as an ambassador for jeno, he is willing to sacrifice everything for jaemin.

And the next day, the papers arrived with jaemin's signature on it.
